A Tale of Many Worlds

Dipper slowly began to wake up, he remembered sitting in his room reading the journal when a bright flash filled the room and he blacked out. The young boy slowly rose, he rubbed the top of his head and felt his hat was missing, but found the journal a few feet away from him. Next to it was a blue hat with a white face, on the white area was a blue pine tree. Dipper picked up the hat and the book, before placing them both in their respective places. The hat on his head, and the journal in a pocket on the inside of his vest. Dipper looked around the area and saw the woodland area he was in appeared to be very dark and gloomy, but what stood out most to him was the large pair of green eyes staring at him, he let out a startled yelp as the wolf moved close to him.

The wolf itself was nothing extraordinary, the only thing that seemed to confuse the young boy was the fact that it was made completely out of wood. It stared at the boy and continued to move towards him with teeth and claws ready to strike. Dipper began to step backwards away and felt his back make contact with a tree, but the wolf suddenly gained a look of fear and turned before running with a few yelps. Dipper was confused until he heard the heavy breathing, he whirled around to face the creature that was breathing. It was a large creature with long blue fur, sharpened fangs, and large claws. It wore red spiked shoes, and had large emerald green eyes. Dipper fell onto the ground and watched as the creature took long strides towards him, and reached out a clawed hand.

"Are you ok?" It asked in a gruff voice. Which surprised Dipper. He took the larger hand and felt himself get pulled forward. Dipper got back onto his feet and stared at the monstrous creature before him.

"Yeah... I'm fine... What... What are you...?" Dipper asked, but the creature didn't respond, instead it grabbed Dipper around his waist and began to run, while a pack of the wolves jumped at the location where they had been standing.

"Less talking, more running!" It shouted, and the wolves followed, but the creature broke through the brush and burst near a small home startling several animals that had been waiting near the edge of the forest. Dipper was amazed for the wolves stopped following them. The door to the house swung open and out stepped a strange creature, while it was human like it had a horse like head, with a pair of wings coming out of its red shirt, and its legs ended in hooves. Its fur was a pale yellow, its hair and tale were a powdery pink. It let out a loud gasp, clearly female, and rushed over.

"What happened? Are either of you hurt?" She asked, while Dipper was unsure of how to answer. He was too distracted by the fact that these two creatures actually existed. The creature smiled and hugged her, before they kissed.

"We're fine. Don't worry Fluttershy. I just saved... Saved... Uh..." The creature turned to face Dipper who quickly told his name.

"Dipper. I'm Dipper. Dipper Pines." Dipper said, he was nervous, there were two reasons behind this, with one being that he'd never imagined that a horse/human would fall in love with a wolf like monster, the other being he had no idea where he was.

"I saved Dipper from a pack of Timberwolves." The creature said with a smile.

"Dipper? Nice to meet you. I'm Fluttershy and this my husband, Sonic the Hedgehog." Fluttershy said, motioning towards the creature with her hand.

"You're a hedgehog?" Dipper asked, now confused. Sonic nodded and looked up at the night sky, but the sun could be seen creeping over the edge of the horizon, and Sonic smiled as the light touched him. Sonic was wrapped in a white light and once it cleared there stood a different looking creature. While it had the same basic shape as before, it now had short lighter blue fur, his teeth had rounded out, his shoes were spike free and had a rounded point at the end, and finally he wore gloves over his hands.

"Now do you believe me?" Sonic asked, and Dipper slowly nodded. Dipper went to speak but felt something slam into his side, knocking the air out of him. Dipper fell onto the ground to realize he had been tackled by his twin sister: Mabel. Her long brown hair went past her shoulders, her braces shone in the rising sun's light, and her sweater today had a shooting star on it.

"Mabel!" Dipper shouted happily, but this left Sonic and Fluttershy confused.

"You two know each other?" Sonic asked, but Dipper laughed.

"Guys this is my twin sister! How long has she been here?" Dipper asked, and Sonic shrugged.

"Fluttershy must have taken her in. I had no idea she was here." Sonic said with an embarrassed grin.

"So you're twins? Where are you from...? I mean... If you don't mind me asking." Fluttershy asked, before taking a step back.

"Flutters, we've talked about this. Use your confidence." Sonic said.

"Right. Can you please tell us where you're from?" Fluttershy asked, while she sounded more confident, she was still nervous.

"We're from a small town... Gravity Falls." Dipper explained, before realizing that he had no idea where they were. "Where are we now?" Dipper asked, and Fluttershy smiled.

"Your world must have gone through the Merge." Fluttershy replied, although this didn't really answer Dipper's question.

"The Merge? What's that?" Mabel asked, while Sonic placed his hand under his chin.

"Well the Merge is when a world fuses or merges with our own. It's been happening like crazy. Our worlds were the first to fuse." Sonic replied, pointing at Fluttershy and himself.

"You mean you two are from different worlds?" Dipper asked, now confused and scared.

"Yeah, you happen to be in Equestria at the moment. Although the worlds are sort of converted to continents. You've got all kinds of worlds here. Popstar, Mobius, even entire galaxies have fused with this world." Sonic explained.

"So our world has been combined with yours...?" Mabel asked, now frightened.

"Basically. We you're more than welcome to stay with us if you'd like..." Fluttershy said, while Sonic nodded.

"I guess that will be fine. Could you show us around town?" Dipper asked, and Sonic nodded before turning to walk there. The twins knew that this would be interesting.
