A Tale of Many Worlds

Heather ran, she was scared, after all who wouldn't be afraid of a pink creature barreling towards you at a hundred miles per hour. She continued to wind around the many buildings and structures, but looked behind her to see in the pink thing was following. She slammed into something and fell backwards onto her butt. Heather looked up and gasped again, in front of her was a large metal creature that would tower over any Raposa, and its pinkish red eyes only made her more afraid. It turned to face her, and she covered her face in fear.

"Don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you." It said in a surprisingly young voice. She uncovered her face to see it had bent down to get to her eye level. "My name is Alphonse... What's yours?" He asked, and Heather didn't respond. "Can you tell me your name?" He asked again, and Heather didn't respond.

"Heather! Don't run off like that! Huh?" Jowee said noticing that Heather had been speaking to Alphonse. "Get away from that thing! We don't know what it is!" Jowee shouted, tugging Heather away from him.

"Hey, you don't have to be so mean..." Alphonse said, but Jowee hadn't heard him.

"How many times have Mari and I told you not to talk with monsters?!" Jowee asked, and Heather looked back at Alphonse.

"Hey, leave him alone!" Edward shouted, approaching them.

"Look, I just don't want Heather to hand around monsters!" Jowee yelled, and Heather broke free of his grasp.

"He not a monster!" Heather shouted, which shocked Jowee, considering she barely spoke.

"I... I'm sorry... I was just worried about Heather... She's just so young and... Defenseless..." Jowee apologized, and Ed went to speak, but Al spoke first.

"It's fine... I understand. How about we start over? Hi, I'm Alphonse Elric." Al reached out a hand to Jowee and the Raposa took it.

"Jowee... This is Heather." Jowee said, and then turned his attention to Ed. "Who's that?"

"He's my big brother. Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist!" Al said, but Jowee looked confused.

"Fullmetal? You think that title would be given to you... He's your older brother, I assumed that you were older than he was, I mean... He's so short!" Jowee said, but before Ed could say anything, Pinkie rushed by and shoved something into each of their hands. Jowee noticed that they each held a pink envelope, with a cupcake sticker keeping it sealed. Jowee opened it and found a card inside with a quick drawing of him on it.

You're Invited! Jowee opened it and continued to read. Tonight is a party for you! Talk with Sonic around Six P.M., and he'll tell you where to go! See you there! -Pinkie Pie Jowee looked at Ed and Al, before looking at Heather, who was having trouble peeling the sticker off of the envelope, and Jowee helped her.

"Well we should be going. It was nice meeting you two." Alphonse said, waving as he and Ed walked away.

"I'm sorry again! I hope we can become good friends!" Jowee called out, before he and Heather moved to look for Mari and Hero.

"GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO!" Several voices chanted as Jowee and Heather approached the center of town, and noticed that Hero was currently in an arm wrestling competition, and was losing, his opponent was a red stallion with an orange mane and tail. Hero was sweating heavily, while his opponent hadn't even been looking at Hero, rather he had his eyes closed. Hero's hand was slammed onto the table and his eyes widened in shock.

"We have a winner! It is... Big Macintosh!" Rainbow Dash shouted, while Hero glared at the stallion sitting across from him. Jowee ran forward and approached Hero with Heather following.

"Hero, what are you doing!? Where's Mari?" Jowee asked, worried about his friend/crush. Hero shrugged and pointed at Sugar Cube Corner, where Pinkie was probably planning their party. "She went with Pinkie? Why didn't you follow her!? Have you forgotten that Wilfre is here!?" Jowee asked, and Hero suddenly took on a look of worry before jumping onto his feet and rushing towards the building.

"What's got him so riled up?" Rainbow Dash asked, and Jowee turned to her.

"He was created with the task of protecting us. He saved our world from the wrath of a Rapo who did the unimaginable. He wrote in the Book of Life." Jowee explained. He began to explain how things worked back home in his village, from Wilfre destroying the Book of Life, to Wilfre murdering Mari's father, to Hero stopping him, then onto Wilfre's return, and how he was eventually stopped again. However it was then that Jowee began to talk about his friends.

"Well as I said before, Hero was once a mannequin brought to life by the Creator. Heather was being held hostage by Wilfre. Mari's been my best friend for as long as I can remember, she's a pretty cool Rapo. I mean... She's smart, funny, beautiful, she's an amazing mayor..." Jowee said, unaware that she was behind him, but Rainbow Dash began to snicker, which prompted Jowee to turn around.

"Did you really mean all that Jowee?" Mari asked, while Jowee turned a bright red.

"I... I... I um... Hey shouldn't we be getting to the party!? I think we'll be late if we don't go now!" Jowee said, turning and running off towards Sonic and Fluttershy's home.

Mari sighed and began to follow with Hero and Heather following her.
