A Tale of Many Worlds

Something watched four new figures from a distance, three of them were similar and the last one was completely different. Three of them were brown rabbit looking creatures, although from their clothing you could tell that two were girls and one was a boy. The boy wore a blue shirt and brown pants, a red scarf draped over his back, with a blue pair of goggles next to his long ears. One of the girls wore a yellow dress with a red ascott,, had curly brown hair, and a pair of gold earrings. The other girl was smaller with a green dress, a red pendant and blonde hair, but the most notable feature was that the entire left half of her face was covered in shadow. The last figure was human like, with spiky blonde hair, a red shirt, blue jean shorts and brown shoes. They all seemed to be unconscious and as a result were unaware that they were being watched. The watcher noticed something approaching and grew curious as to what this would be, and he found out that it was a strange animal like creature. The watcher would have to wait and see what events would unfold.

Sonic approached the passed out figures that appeared next to his home. He knew that they were here because of the merge, but they looked pretty strange. Before Sonic could say anything they began to wake up slowly.

"W-wha? What happened?" One asked, and Sonic rushed over.

"Are you ok? You might need to rest." Sonic said, and the rabbit like creature looked at him.

"Who... Who are you?" He asked, and Sonic reached out a hand, and it placed its paw in his hand. Sonic helped it to his feet as the others began to wake up. Sonic groaned and knew that this would take some explaining, so he allowed them to enter his home, for the time being, seeing as they would need to get caught up on things.

"Jowee, Mari, Heather, and Hero... Did I get that right?" Sonic asked, having been told their names.

"Yeah... So you mean to say that our world has somehow been combined with yours?" Mari asked, she propped her elbows up on the table. Jowee fiddled around with his goggles, Heather was standing near Jowee with a big grin, and Hero sat across from Sonic holding a silver sword, giving the hedgehog a suspicious glare.

Mari sighed and stood up, her earrings jingled with the movement. Jowee, Hero, and Heather turned their attention to her.

"Mari? Is something wrong?" Jowee asked, standing onto his feet, but Mari didn't respond, instead she seemed to be staring at something out the window. Sonic turned and his eyes widened as he saw what Mari was staring at, it was a shadowy monster that resembled the way that Mari, Jowee, and Heather looked.

"Wilfre!" Jowee shouted, pulling Heather close to him. Wilfre rolled his eyes before he floated through the window.

"What's wrong? Aren't you glad to see me?" Wilfre asked, with an evil grin.

"You know this thing?" Sonic asked, standing ready to fight.

"Know him? He..." Mari started, and tears began to fill her eyes.

"Oh you're still upset about that? I did it for the good of the village." Wilfre said, moving forward, reaching out a hand to put on Mari's shoulder. The sword was pointed at his face and he looked at Hero who had a look of disgust and anger. "Call of your dog..." Wilfre said, and Sonic took a step forward.

"Look, just leave and never come back or I'll..." Sonic began, but Wilfre started laughing and floated in front of the hedgehog.

"You think you can defeat me? That Hero was barely able to beat me! I could destroy you with a single punch, and I would laugh as you are consumed by darkness and hatred, forcing you to attack all of those you know and love." Wilfre said with a sick and twisted grin. Wilfre turned and began to float away, he said nothing and left the building, leaving them standing there in silence.

"Raposa? They look more like mutant rabbits to me... Are you sure they aren't mutant rabbits?" Rainbow Dash asked, and Sonic rolled his eyes before remembering something.

"GAH! RAINBOW CAN YOU SHOW THEM AROUND TOWN FOR ME!? I NEED TO GO AND CHECK UP ON FLUTTERSHY!" Sonic shouted, before running away towards the hospital. Rainbow Dash sighed and looked at the four standing before her.

"So what're your names? I'm Rainbow Dash by the way." She said and watched as the four walked to her.

"I'm Jowee, this is Mari..." Rainbow noticed that Jowee looked at Mari with a quick glance before turning to face rainbow Dash again. "This is Heather." Heather was hiding behind Jowee, she would occasionally peek her head out and look at the pegasus. "Finally this is Hero." Jowee finished, and Rainbow Dash knew that they would need to get to know town.

"Follow me, I'll show you around." Rainbow Dash said, leading them deeper into Ponyville. They traveled from Sugar Cube Corner, to the library, to Sweet Apple Acres, and all over the small town. "This is Flim and Flam's place, they rent this building out as all sorts of things, for parties, weddings, birthdays, and anything else you can imagine. However it's made into a haunted house every Nightmare Night." Rainbow Dash explained.

"Uh... Haunted house?" Mari asked.

"Nightmare Night?" Jowee questioned.

"Oh, right. It's not really haunted, it's just made into a sort of horror attraction. Nightmare Night is a holiday when we all dress up in costumes and go from house to house collecting candy, and playing pranks on each other." Rainbow Dash explained.

"Oh! So it's like Halloween!" Jowee said, the excitement in his voice unable to be hidden.

"Yep, a lot like Halloween..." Rainbow laughed, but now she heard a yelling. Jowee was nearly tackled by a pink pony, who was very excited to see him.

"HI! MY NAME IS PINKAMENA DIANE PIE, BUT MY FRIENDS CALL ME PINKIE PIE OR JUST PINKIE FOR SHORT! I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOUR NAMES AND I STILL WANT TO BE YOUR FRIENDS! OH THAT REMINDS ME I HAVE TO THROW YOU A PARTY! I'VE GOTTA GO GET STARTED ON THAT NOW!" She shouted, startling them all, but Heather gasped and began to run. Jowee turned and began to chase after her, which seemed to make Pinkie upset.

"Aw Rapo!" Jowee shouted.

"Did... Did I scare her...?" Pinkie asked, now sad, but Mari began to reassure her.

"Heather just scares easily, she's very shy! It wasn't your fault!"

"If you... If you say so..." Pinkie said, but Mari thought of something that might cheer her up.

"How about I help you with that party?" Mari asked, and Pinkie brightened up, before grabbing Mari's paw and pulling her away from Rainbow Dash and Hero.
