A Guide to the World of Terra: Book 1

  The Frozen North refers to all land north to Neighagra Falls. This patch of land expands into Prance and Germaneigh as well. This land is very mountainous and as the name implies cold. Not many creatures inhabit the land save for a few Dragons.

  Most of the land was captured during the Two years war; a battle between Germaneigh and the Solar Empire. No pony knows for sure why the war began in the first place.  The land is officially recognized as unclaimed land but it is occupied by the Solar Empire.

  The Terrain is barren and unforgiving to say the least, cliffs and glaciers make this land a dream for mountain climbers. The frigid temperatures keep many at bay though because of how deadly they can be. The lowes recorded temperature happened at the top of Mount. Starswirl, temperatures dropping to -120 degrees.

Much of the land is covered in an unmelting snow. This creates huge snowstorms when combined with high winds. Caution is always advised when venturing in to such places. It is always safer to travel with a guide then alone.
