True Harmony

“Go ahead and use your little elements, ‘friend me’ just make it quick!” Discord said in a mocking manner “I’m missing some excellent chaos here”

Twilight nodded at her friends “All right ladies! Let’s show him what friendship can do!”

` Discord yawned, whilst he admired their efforts he knew that it would prove ultimately futile. After all, it was only just hours ago that they hated each other. He even managed to lower the element of magic, the only thing that this confidence could have spurred from is the fact that they somehow managed to get Rainbow Dash to join them in this attempt and that’s why Twilight was so enthusiastic.

However, something was different this time. The elements began to glow and throw beams of light at him, could it be? No, there was no way that they managed to ‘friend’ each other again could they?

Discord realised his mistake as soon as the consequences began, Twilight’s eyes began to glow and Discord got hit with the rainbow beam.

‘No… NO!’ Discord violently struggled as he began to turn into stone, the effect started crawling up his body like a spider. The worst part of it all was that Discord knew that it was his own ignorance that led to this, he had every opportunity to stop this from happening right up until the 6 elements were brought into play. The petrification continued and Discord kept on weaving and spiralling in order to try to keep the effect away, in the end it was in vain and the now-stone Discord plummeted to the ground.

He was still perfectly aware of what was going on of course but he did his best to shut out any outside interference from his brain. He thought that taking over the world would have been an easy process after the stone which kept him was broken, he was wrong. However, he did have a backup plan. One that even the Elements of Harmony would be unable to defeat. There was one reason for this…

Discord chuckled to himself ‘What these ponies don’t understand is that true harmony has to encompass both a positive and a negative side.’

It was this that let him know that he wouldn’t be trapped in this stone prison for much longer. Even now the cracks have begun to show again. What he also knew was that he needed to find and gather the negative harmony up and find a way of using it against these ‘friends’.

‘Can’t we get back to the point where I won? Eugh and I’ll have to deal with the magical friend-ponies again won’t I? Eugh… gag,’

In the midst of his planning he couldn’t help but here the cutesy-wutsy ‘friendship’ moments that the Elements of Harmony were sharing.
