Spider-Man: Problems in Ponyville
Ponyville.
Previous ChapterI finish bucking the apples from the last tree. I wipe some sweat off of my forehead with my foreleg.
"Phew. Finally! We've finished applebuckin'." I say.
"Eeyup." Big Machintosh replies. "Phew. Now let's get these apples back over to-" I start before being interrupted by a thwip. Huh?
"Hey Big Mac, did you hear that?" I ask. "Nope." he replies.
"Hmm...weird..." I mutter. "Oh whatever, let's just-" Another thwip. Weird, expect this time it's closer. Then I hear the sound of tree branches breaking not far. "Hey!" I say. I see a red blur from where I heard the branches breaking. I rush over to it, hoping to see what it is. But when I get there, There's only leaves and a few broken tree branches. "Hmm, somethin' weird is going on here." I say. Big Mac nods in agreement. I guess we'll find out later. Anyways we really should store these apples away."
"Okay AJ," Big Macintosh replies.
"Oh, and uh get something to eat?" I add.
Big Mac points to the baskets of apples. "Oh yeah. Heh heh..."
Once me and Big Mac put the apples away, I decide to go visit Fluttershy. I had meant to visit her earlier, but was too busy. I guess now's the time to do that. I hum to myself as I make my way over to Fluttershy's cottage. Once I arrive at her cottage, I knock on her door, yet get no answer. I knock on the door again. Still no answer. "Uhh, Fluttershy? You in there?" I ask, starting to become a bit nervous.
"Up here, Applejack." I hear a voice from above me say. Looking up I see a familiar, yellow pegasus in a tree.
"Fluttershy? What the hay are you doing up there?" I ask.
"Oh, uh, you know. Hiding from the, well, um....monster..." Fluttershy quietly replied.
"The monster? What in tarnation are you talking about?" I asked. The shy pony flew down from the tree.
"Well, um, it was red...and blue...and was fast. It j-just...well, zoomed." Flutter said in her quiet voice.
"Zoomed?"
"Yeah zoomed."
"Well, uh, okay. What else did this monster look like?" I ask.
"Oh i-it had, um, white eyes and and...and...that's it." Fluttershy replied quietly. "It was scary. I was just minding my own business, feeding the animals, and then all of a sudden. Zoom! It came rushing by, and I got scared and flew up that tree."
"Oh, well the 'monster' is gone now." I reply. I look around and find nothing unusual. I knew something weird was going on here. "Hey Fluttershy? You wanna come with me to get something to eat?" I ask.
"Um, well I don't know. T-Th-The monster-" the shy pony started.
"Isn't here, Flutter. It probably went somewhere else." I say, trying to calm my sensitive friend down. "But seriously, you wanna get somethin' to eat? I'm hungry." I say.
"Oh okay Applejack." Fluttershy answers. "I-I guess we should get something to eat. Just let me do something real quick."
"Oh, well, alright." I say. "I'll wait for ya out here." Fluttershy nods and then goes inside her cottage. 2 minutes pass, and I start to wonder what's going on. "Uhh, Fluttershy!" I call. "What's the hold up?"
"Oh, uh, n-nothing." the pink-haired, yellow pony responds. "Should we go now?" she asks. I nod, and we are on our way.
