Fight for the Equestrian World
Chapter 2
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI half expected all this to be a dream, but it was all too real. I opened my eyes and sure enough, I was in White's room. I got up and went to the main room. White was laying on the couch looking at his blade. I stayed back a little, I listened to who he was talking to. Nopony, he was singing. He had the most beautiful voice as well. It was in the other language.
"Āpani āpanāra cōkha biśbāsa karatē habē
daśa miliẏana phāẏāra māchi yadi
āmi ghumiẏē paṛā hisēbē duniẏā ālōmaẏa
tārā mukta bāẏu pūraṇa karatē cā'i kāraṇa
ēbaṁ sarbatra ṭiẏāra ḍrapa chēṛē
āpani āmākē abhadra manē cā'i kintu āmi śudhu sṭyānḍa ēbaṁ tākāna cā'i." I continued listening the whole time. It was beautiful. Soon he finished his song and then I came out.
"Nice singing voice." He jumped. I had obviously scared him.
"You...heard...?" I giggled a little.
"Every word." He got red in the face. "What's wrong? Don't like it when ponies hear you sing?"
"That, and you have no clothes on." I looked down, he was right. I quickly covered up. I could feel myself blush from embarrassment.
"Heh heh...I...uhh...don't have any good clothing. My shirt and pants are all dirty." He nodded.
"Why I got you this." He picked a bundle up and tossed it to me. I caught it, I would have used my magic; but I don't have a horn anymore. "They should fit you, if not I'll run out and get ones that do." I nodded and headed to the bathroom to change. It was a gr-...green...green! Out of all the colors! A light green shirt! Ewwww. I forced myself to put it on. I put the blue jeans on as well.
"I look absolutely horrible in this color..." I remembered the time Trixie turned my mane into a green mess. Speaking of my mane, sweet Celestia! I tried to fix my mane as best I could. I walked back out. "Um...White darling, there wouldn't happen to be...any other colored shirts would there?" He looked to me.
"Only one that would fit ya, sorry." He said.
"It's...quite alright. I'm going to have to step way out of my comfort zone in this place anyway." He stood. "Sorry, just I don't like green. I don't look good in it."
"I think you do," He said. "You pull that off nicely." I felt myself blush slightly. "You ready?"
"For what?" I asked.
"I'm gonna show you somepony." He held the door open. I walked out. He closed the door and locked up behind him. "See you at the bottom, ground level." I looked at him as he fell back and flipped over the railing and into a free fall. I watched him as he used the branches to flip and fall to the ground again. I made my way to ground level.
"Again, you are crazy." I said.
"Again, it's called being Kyratian." He said. "We breath danger and spit in the face of death."
"Yo! White!" Somepony called out. I turned to see Stallion One.
"What up?" White said.
"Dude, we got your wingsuit patched up."
"Cool." Stallion One turned to me.
"Can she speak our language yet?"
"Yes."
"Cool," He held his hand out. "Bold Hoof." I shook it.
"I'm Rarity." I said. He nodded.
"Me and Berry Blast found you. Anyway, just wanted to let you know White, that you can pick it up whenever."
"Okay," White said. "Thanks. Oh, have you seen Bright?"
"Dude, I'd rather not. She's still pissed about that whole thing."
"I know, I need to apologize to her anyway."
"She's at the fire pit over there."
"Thanks, Bold." White walked to the fire pit, I followed. White looked to me. "Okay, I kinda pissed Bright off so just stay back a little and let me talk." He walked to a mare over a camp fire, she was poking it with a stick; tending to it. White slowly walked to her. "Hey, Bright." She turned and stood. She was a green mare, blue eyes, orange mane and tail. She was in a faded, dark green T-shirt and faded blue jeans. She had the thing, a tatau is what White called it I think, on her forearm. She backhanded him. "And, I deserved that."
"Damn fuckin' right ya do." She spat. "That mission was dangerous enough, then with that fuckin' stunt you pulled almost killed us all."
"Now, if I didn't do that you and Sound would be dead."
"It was still fuckin' stupid." She crossed her arms.
"I know, and I'm sorry." I said. "Can we put that behind us now?" She thought a little.
"Fine," She sighed. "I forgive you."
"Awesome," White said. "Now, there is sompony I want you to meet." He motioned for me. I walked to him. "This, is Rarity." She nodded.
"Nice to meet you, Rarity. I'm Bright Star."
"Nice to meet you as well." I said. White was off to the side doing something with another Guardian.
"So, how did you run into that idiot?" Bright asked.
"He is not an idiot, he is actually quite nice."
"He's nice, and an idiot. He does all this crazy shit and calls it being Kyratian."
"Could you, uhh, stop with the language." I asked.
"Sorry." She said.
"Thank y-" She cut me off.
"Ass fuck shit cock dick cunt fucking fucker fuck shit dick ass tits cock fucking a-"
"Okay I get it." I said.
"Glad you understand." White came back, he had something on. "They fixed it?" He nodded.
"Yeah." He said. "I'm gonna find out if it still works on our way to Canterlot."
"You are going to Canterlot?" I asked.
"Yeah, we need to get a couple things, pay for out supplies, all that stuff." I looked at him, he now had something on him. It was fabric attached to straps fastened tightly on his arms, legs, and hands.
"And that is...?"
"My wingsuit." He stretched his arms out. the fabric was tight onto him.
"Ah." Bright sighed.
"Don't do anything stupid when you are gone. You and your group always do."
"Yeah, so no promises. Oh, Bright. I need to to show Rarity around. I'm not gonna be back for a couple days. And that means-" He tossed me his house keys. "-you need these."
"Shall we see you off?" Bright asked.
"Sure." He said. He began walking and me and Bright followed. He met up with a group of Guardians. They climbed up to the top of a tall tree. The first branch was high, but the got a running start and sorta ran up the tree a little to get to it. Bright motioned me to follow her. She walked to a cliff like ledge, bellow more forest.
"Look up." She said. I did. I saw White on a branch running to the end. He jumped off into a free fall and extended his arms and legs and shot forward. "Hey, his wingsuit does work." Bright said. The rest of the group did the same and they glided off. Bright turned around. "Come on." I turned and followed her. She showed me around. She then showed me the rocks White told me about. "These are The Rocks. They are the boundary line for The Dome. I'm guessing White showed you The Temple?" I nodded. "Good, one less thing to do." She looked at me. "Where is your gear?"
"My gear? What do you mean?" I asked. Bright sighed.
"Follow me." She walked off. I followed. She walked back to the village. "Kyrat isn't just the village ya know." She said. "It's the whole area, 500 acres around. It's full of villages, snowy mountains, and lots of danger. So everypony has gear, and because White trusts you; I'll give you some. In case you ever leave to explore. So, what do you like the most?" She turned to me, walking backwards. "Machete, bow, knife, sword, s-"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. I'm not going to carry a weapon around."
"And why is that?" She looked at me like I was crazy.
"Well it is not very lady-like to carry around a-" Bright almost fell over laughed.
"Celestia, you are a funny mare."
"I'm...not trying to be funny." She stopped and looked at me.
"You trying to get yourself killed?" She said. "Cause if you don't have a weapon, I doubt the beasts out there will care if you are trying to be 'lady-like'. They will rip you limb from limb. They will eat your dead body when they are done having fun with you." I felt sick after that image. "This-" She spread her arms out. "-is Kyrat. Where life turns to death in seconds. You can't go five seconds without being attacked, chased, wounded, or killed out there." She put her arms down. "So, what do you want? Machete, bow, knife, sword?" I looked at her. I really didn't want to carry something like that around.
"Uhh...machete...?" I said. Bright nodded in went into a house-like structure. She came out with the same carrier White had and a machete.
"Okay, turn around." I did so. She began putting it on me. She put the machete in the sheath like thing on my back. "Also..." She went back in and came out with some stuff. She gave me boots and told me to put them on. I did so and she tossed me the fingerless gloves. I put those on.
"I feel like I look bad in this..." I said. "Green does not look well on me, same with a blade, and boot? Boots, I can't believe I'm wearing boots now. I'm a fashion disaster!"
"You never looked better." Bright said. "Not that you looked good to begin with." I frowned. "Now, let's get you...Kyrated up." She smirked.
"What do you mean..." I looked at her. "Why are you smirking?" She chuckled.
"You'll see..."
"I'm not gonna like this am I?" Bright didn't look back.
"Not at all." I sighed and followed her.
(White's point of view)
I glided across the the forest below me. I felt alive again.
"EYY! WHITE!" Sound shouted over the wind.
"YEAH?!" I shouted back.
"WHO'S THE MARE YOU WERE WITH?!"
"JUST SOME MARE! BOLD AND BERRY FOUND HER IN THE FOREST ABOUT 1,000 YARDS OUT!"
"EYY! LAKE BELOW!" Peach shouted.
"HELL YEAH!" I shouted. "LET'S FUCKIN' DO THIS!" I closed my arms and legs. I then straightened my body out and I fell towards the lake. I landed feet first and I shot down. The lake was deep so I only made it half way before I was stopped completely. I swam to the top. Peach Pit, Sound Wave, Bold Hoof, Berry Blast, and Stone Hoof Surfaced as well. We all cheered, screamed yeah and all that. "That was fun." I laughed. We swam to the edge and climbed out. He walked through the woods. "Okay, we are in Kyrat now, watch your back." We stretched out a little. "Ready?" They all said yes. I sprinted into the forest, they followed behind. I jumped and vaulted over logs and other stuff in the way. We came to a river. "Easy, easy. Look for gators." I looked at the bank of the river. I didn't see anything. "Okay," I got waist deep and waited a bit to see if there were gators. Nothing. "Let-" I was cut off by a gator jumping at me. I heard shouting and splashing coming at me. I was pulled under by it and it snapped at me. I took Silver Dragon out and stabbed it again and again in the top of its snout. The water was soon red with blood. I got it its head and stabbed down, the blade going through its skull; killing it. I surfaced, gasping for air. I took the gator and dragged it to the bank. "Well...we...don't...have to...get leather...now..." We all laughed at that. I took my blade and jabbed into the gator. I then proceeded to skin it. I then reached my hand into it and started feeling around.
"Looking for the heart?" Bold asked.
"Yeah," I continued. "It sells for a lot man." I found it and wrapped it up and put it away. We took some of the meat as well and continued running.
We made it to another cliff/ledge. "Let's climb that tree and glide." Our village is in the mountain ranges so that is why there are a lot of cliff ledges. We climbed the tree and glided off. It made a faster, safer travel. We saw the fields, this meant we were out if the Kyrat forest. Once we touched the ground, we ran to the road. The road was about two miles off, no problem for a couple Guardians like us. We got to the road. "Okay, now to follow the road to Canterlot." That's just what we did. By the time we made it there, the sun was setting. "We did it boys." We walked in. Ponies looked at us. Some would mutter 'Those are the Kyrat guardians.' or 'Wow, Kyratians.' We made our way down the streets, a colt stopped us.
"Wow! Are you all actual Kyratians?" The kid's mother grabbed him.
"Silver! You can't do that!" She turned to us. "I'm so sorry." I chuckled.
"It's fine, and to answer your question, yes. Not only that, but we are Guardians as well."
"Cool!" He said. I smiled and rustled his mane. "One day, I'm gonna be a Guardian, just like you!" I chuckled.
"Oh really now?" He nodded. I motioned the others to go without me. They did so. "Want to know a little something?"
"What?"
I squatted down to his level. "It takes a brave pony to be one. You also have to be strong, but if you try hard enough, you can accomplish anything. I believe that you will be one someday." He smiled. I took a necklace out. I held it up. It had a green gem with a shark carved into it. "This, is the symbol of a fighter. It also means you are strong, tough, but a good pony at heart as well. Can I trust you will honer that?" He nodded. I gave it to him.
"Thanks!" He ran off. I smiled and stood back up. His mother shook her head.
"He thinks that you Guardians are 'the coolest thing ever'. Even more so because you are from Kyrat." I chuckled.
"He seems to be a good kid, just, try to stop him from doing anything we would do." She giggled a little.
"Oh you will not believe how many times he has tried to fight a bully off that is twice his size, or do all these crazy flips. I chuckled.
"Sounds like he really wants to be a Guardian." She nodded.
"I just don't want him to get hurt anymore. Ever since his father left I've been having to work two jobs. I don't have time to watch him, and when I do he's off with his friends, or trying to be Guardian." She sighed.
"I'm sorry. How long ago did he leave?"
"When he found out I was with Silver..." My eyes widened.
"Bull shit." I said. "That's a dick move on his part." I sighed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to do that."
"No, it's alright." I sighed.
"Listen, me and the others are staying here for a little while. If you need anything, I'll be hanging around the shops and stuff okay?"
"Y-you would do that...?" I nodded.
"Yeah, it's no big deal."
"T-thank you." She smiled.
"I gotta go, see ya later I guess." She nodded and I ran to where we were staying.
(Rarity's point of view)
"I hate you so much..." I said, looking over the small ledge I was on, 500 feet above the groud
