Conversion Bureau: Journal of a Convert

Entry 6 – Sunday 5/20

Wow! What a fun party I had today! Today, Azure told me that I’d be meeting some of her other friends. Everything else was kept secret. We then went to a pavilion in the nearby park where I saw a huge party going on. There were at least twenty other ponies there and all of them knew Azure. She was always popular as a human, so I wasn’t surprised that this carried through to her as a pony.

I asked her what this was, and she told me that this was my pre-Conversion party. She always had a knack for naming parties. I at first was worried that the others wouldn’t be inviting to me since I was a human, but they welcomed me openly and invited me in.

It was a really interesting mix of earth ponies, Pegasus ponies, and unicorn ponies. Some of them were born a pony while most of them were human and became ponies. They gave me such great advice about what it was like preparing for Conversion, the actual process, and what happened after. They said that like me they were concerned about what to expect, and some of them didn’t have friends who went through the Conversion process. I couldn’t imagine not having someone like Azure to help me.  I would certainly recommend having a recently converted pony pair up with a human about to go through Conversion to help them prepare and be a comfort to.

The party was great with music, games and the food. Although I wasn’t into some things served like hay, the baked goods were great! But most importantly, Azure through this party showed me that ponies were very similar to humans. Sure they look different, but the way they act and think and their personalities are the same. She also showed that I was going to be able to make friends very easily as a pony.

So now this was my last full day as a human. Tomorrow I’ll be going to the Conversion Bureau where I’ll enter as a human and come out as a pony. I go with no regrets and friends to support me.
