Abomination in Equestria
Strange Animal
Load Full StoryNext Chapter"Sir, we've captured the hybrid, and are taking it to the nearest research facility." The young voice of Private Johnson spoke to his commanding officer. He and Private Smith had been tasked with finding and capturing one of the rarest species throughout the entire galaxy, the Predalien, a hybrid of both Xenomorph and Predator origin. They were the only two survivors and were able to trap the beast, and successfully transported it onto their ship, and were currently trying to give the monster to a research center, after all not a single specimen has been captured or found before, they've only ever been spotted alive, and never found. Unknown to them, the cryogenic container that they kept the specimen in was about to malfunction, and the creature began to stir. It felt strange mixes of emotions, due to its unnatural DNA, it wanted to hunt and survive, just as the Xenomorphs did, but it wanted to collect prizes from its victims, just as the Predators did, the latter want was confusing to the beast, and it often left these trophies behind, but the instinct was still there. It managed to escape its confinement, and stealthily stalked towards the two pilots, with needle like teeth ready, sharp claws prepared, and upper lip quivering. It let out a quick shriek of anger and fury as it struck at Johnson, biting down on his skull, cracking it open and getting a mouth full of brain, blood, and bone. Smith had no time to react as the Abomination speared him with its tail, ripping his heart out of the gap it created.
This however would be the creature's mistake, for with no one to pilot the ship, it began to plummet towards the nearest planet, having been sucked in by its gravitational pull. The Abomination realized its mistake and let our frantic shrieks of anger and fear, it wasn't long before the ship crashed, resulting in an explosion that was visible for miles, which frightened several animals and the local inhabitants of this planet. The Abomination however survived and crawled out of the flaming wreckage that the crashed ship left behind, it was wounded, acidic blood dripped onto the ground, melting the dirt and grass beneath it, its mandibles clicked together weakly, and it attempted to take a step forward, but fell onto the ground. Looking back, it could clearly see that its left leg was broken, the Abomination had no choice but to drag itself away, and secure a safe place to heal.
Fluttershy heard several voices, and she grew fearful of what approached. She was hiding from the loud noise that had happened only minutes ago, and she wasn't ready to meet any monsters. However her hiding spot was discovered, and she saw the face of her friend Rainbow Dash, who had a worried expression.
"Fluttershy!? Are you all right? You aren't hurt are you?" She asked, and Fluttershy shook her head. This seemed to give Rainbow Dash some relief as her posture slackened, and she appeared much more lose. "That's good. So were you hiding from that loud boom?" Rainbow asked and Fluttershy nodded.
"It just came out of nowhere, and I thought that it might have been something dangerous, so I hid." Fluttershy explained, and Rainbow Dash sighed.
"I'm just glad you're not hurt. I mean you're one of my best friends! I don't know what I would do if something happened to you." Rainbow said with a soft smile. "So Twilight wanted me to come and get you, she thinks we should find out what that thing was, but she said that if you didn't want to come, then you didn't have to." Rainbow informed, which made Fluttershy smile.
"I'm sorry, I've still got some chores that need to get done. I really should start to work on them." Fluttershy responded and Rainbow nodded, before flying off at an amazing pace, that was what made Rainbow Dash unique, the fastest flier in Equestria. Fluttershy began to move around her home and comfort the animals that had been scared by the loud noise. She needed to go and check on her outside animals, they would have been scared too, and she loved and adored all the animals that surrounded her, and even those that didn't. So Fluttershy moved outside, and noticed something strange, there was a large mass of feathers lying on the ground, these feathers obviously belonged to one of her chickens, but she immediately that two of her birds were missing.
She began to study the pile of feathers and found that they made a trail, most likely to where her chickens had run off to, and she was determined to find them. Fluttershy began to follow the trail of feathers and found a new trail had started, one that made her sick and very, very afraid. There was no mistaking the almost metallic smell, the crimson color, the liquid like appearance, what she had found was blood, fresh blood too. Another strange fact was that there appeared to be little holes in the ground, and a strange marking, almost as if something was dragging itself to a destination. She knew that she should go and get Twilight or Rainbow Dash or one of her other friends, but curiosity had gotten the best of her, and she continued to follow the trail of feathers, holes, and blood. What she found would horrify her, something that she would never forget. There was a horrible creature, with a bug like shell that was pitch black, but shone in the light. It had a long head, a thin body, large claws, a long spear like tail, dreadlocks, and four mandibles. It was obviously injured, its left leg twisted at an odd angle, and it was covered in wounds, green blood seemed to drip from them. However the horrifying part was that it had started to eat one of the chickens, while the other was lying on the grass dead. It noticed her and hissed, spreading its mandibles in a threatening manner, exposing its many needle like teeth, and the second set on jaws inside of its mouth. It began to drag itself towards her, with obvious intentions of violence. Fluttershy knew that there was only one thing that could calm this beast, and that was the stare.
"I don't want to this... I will if you come any closer..." She said, backing away, but the creature continued to threateningly drag itself at her, and Fluttershy knew she had no choice. She spread her hooves so that they were evenly apart, she straightened her back, spread her wings, and began to stare with wide eyes at the creature, which stopped. It began to screech and groan in fear, it even attempted to rise, but fell over causing it to yell out in pain, what made Fluttershy stop was what it began to do next. It started clawing at its face, cracking and forming cuts in its exoskeleton, the green blood began to flow and although it had no effect on the shell of the creature, it began to melt the ground below it, and Fluttershy's eyes widened as the blood ceased flowing. She flew over and began to gently stroke the creature's head, and it seemed to calm down. Before she could say anything it turned and began to eat the second chicken, which made her stomach churn. She began to feel sick, and almost vomited, but stopped. It growled and looked at her again, this she had time to speak.
"Do you have a name?" She asked, and the creature responded with a few screeches, growls, and guttural roars. She frowned at what he had said. "You don't have a name? Does anypony call you something?" She asked, and the creature let out a long hiss. "Really? Th-That's what they call you? I... I'm not sure if I would feel comfortable calling you that..." Fluttershy said, and the creature growled, which meant that she should call him what he wished to be called. "All right Mr... Abomination... You're hurt, let me take you inside and I'll help you." She said, and the creature began to follow her slowly, and she had a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach.
