Team Earth Beta 2.20

One of the war teams that was most influential was Team Earth Beta 2.20.  The team consisted of 9 ponies.  Crud Hooves was one of them.  What did he think of the team of stallions, this is what he thought.

A dam fine team I was in.  No other military team like it.  We had Striker he was my best friend.  Well not at first, at first I hated his guts.  Why did I hate him, I tell you why he was a pussy hell even after the war he was still a chicken shit.

Luckily we've been able to get ahold of Striker so he can tell his experience.  We asked him about when he first started off in the military training camp.

Oh when I started in military camp I feared for my life.  Every day I trained I was terrible at it the only reason I got in the war was because they were low on men.  Oh I should've refused but I just wanted one thing in my life that I could be proud of instead of living in shame.  And I'm glad I did even though I saw things oh horrible things that war changed my life for the better.

Now when I first met Crud I knew right away we weren't get along.  He was the tough macho stallion and I was the small weak over emotional stick.  I remember the first thing he said to me "Well hello there soldier you ready to kick some changeling?!"  This kinda spooked me a bit so I screamed.  Of course the rest of the team thought that was funny as hell.  They even gave me a nickname, Private Chicken Shit.

We asked Crud what he thought of striker and it was in no way positive.

What did I think of Striker at first?  Well I thought he was a incompetent twig just fixin' to break.  Hell I'm surprised he's still alive today especially knowing the events of that very war.  He survived a lot of shit I thought it was the devil's way of torturin' me.  A real soldier was Road Burn now he was a soldier.  He was tough, strong, and capable of a lot.

Before the team fought for their country something terrible happened on their way there.  One of the soldiers Rough Rider tells us what happened.

We were flying in the plane me and private chicken shit was sitting next to each other when BOOM!  We hear a explosion from the other side.  The alarms went off, I tried to unbuckle but I couldn't the seat buckle it was stuck.  Boom another explosion happened this time it left a hole in the side of the plane.

Right then 3 of our 7 men were gone.  As we were about to crash I couldn't believe it was the end.  We crashed and I blacked out.  When I woke I found one of my hooves gone.  The pain was just unimaginable it hurt so much.  I screamed in agony when saw what has happen to me I would've been dead if it wasn't for Striker.

We then asked Striker about the plane crash.  At first we was a bit hesitant but he told.

You see dead bodies in movies all the time but to see one in real life is just terrible, no pony deserves to see that.  When I saw Rough Rider and saw that he was still alive I thought he was okay, unscaved by the event but no the pony's hoof was impaled. Not by a little, his dam hoof was almost hanging off.  Just thinking of it just makes me wanna, oh Celestia.

After he said that he then barfed thankfully in a nearby trash can.  Striker said he'd be back tomorrow so we went back to Crud Hooves who said.

I couldn't believe I was alive it was truly a blessing I thought but it didn't take long for things to turn to shit.  Out come Striker on his back was Rough Rider with hoof gone, I was a terrible person back then.  I saw Rough Rider at that moment as useless dead weight, I even told Striker this and you know what he told me.  He told me this "No stallion left behind!"

I thought this was bullshit the pony's useless.  I told him the Stallion's useless he carried him anyways then comes Road Burn out of the crash.  Now maybe this soldier can agree with me.  But once he found out what happened Rough Burn that jackass went back into the plane crash I was thinking what is that man fucking thinking.  He comes out slightly burned with a first aid kit in his mouth.  Turns out he got the first aid to help Rough Rider.  I told him "Why are ya helpin' the bastard who already dead!"

He told me "There's still hope for him!"  I wanted to beat the shit out of Road Burn I'm stuck with idiots.  Then I thought ya know what fuck em' I'm going by myself.  But something told me, a had the feeling that if I came with them things will be better.

The next day we asked Striker where did the team go and he continued the story.

I was still carrying Rough Rider who was in searing pain but the first aid did help.  We entered the changeling country, now that place is a very rocky terrain plenty of caves so we picked a cave and settled in.  Road Burn warned of that the changelings who blew us out of the sky was still in the sky so we hoped he didn't catch us.  Know I have done I tons of research and I know only queen and king changelings can have wings and horns.  Now you could say the attack could've come from the ground well you would be wrong changeling are not that powerful now alicorn changelings they can.

Of course it took a while to realize this because I was still in shock what happened everyone was.  Crud's face would tell you otherwise but I knew he was still in shock.  I told everybody this and Crud said "We need to go over there and kick there ass!"  Crud was very irrational he still is the other week a chicken stole his, I'm getting off topic of course Road Burn wasn't having this and Rough Rider was passed out.

Crud tells us what Road Burn told him.

He told me this "You idiot we have no weapons the moment you go out there you will die the moment you walk out.  We might have to surrender."

We do have Road Burn's journal and this is what one part says.

I remember that one time in the war I brought up the ideal we had to surrender I forgot who it was, I think his name was Crud just got blistering angry.  It looked like he was about to kill me I tried to calm him down but I had to knock him out I just had to.

The team that was alive did come out and surrender and they were brought to concentration camp.  What they thought was going to be the place they die they actually changed war.
