Universal Ponies

Walking up from a flash, I found myself lying on some hard floor in a partially lit room, alone, I got up and started calling. "Star? Flare?" I started walking down this, long hallway, then the whole thing shook, with a rumble. This place might not be a building with a rumble like that. I started running down the hallway. and I looked out a window, I quickly discovered I wasn't on a planet, but in a spaceship. A SPACESHIP!! I started running faster, and I started worrying about the Twins, then I heard them scream.

I don't think this is gonna go well.

I ran to the source of the screaming and found that there were these ape things surrounding them, with weapons in their hands, one of them started yelling at the twins. "Who the hell are you? How the hell did you get aboard my ship?! Answer me!"

Interrogating two 15 year old girls, ain't that smart?

I found a small pipe on the floor, and grabbed it with my mouth, disgusting but I started banging it on the wall, to get the 4 ape things' attention, then dropped it, and they looked at me. Now I've done something, now I finish it.

"Interrogating 15 year old mares I see. Well, ain't that a way to treat a bunch of young visitors that don't even know where they are."
One of them piped up after I spoke, his voice slightly raspy but medium toned , and slightly hostile. "That doesn't answer my question, you stupid horse, what are you doing on my ship, and what the hell are you exactly?"

Sweet Celestia this guy is an idiot. And I thought bitching at a TV that isn't plugged in was dumb.
"Hell if we know, Jackass. We're ponies from an alter dimension, and we're lost out here."

There was another ape which I presumed was female, with those... ehh, "jugs" as stallions like to call them. And she started talking to him. "Look, we've got to restore power to our ship, and interrogating young ponies is the last thing we need right now." She turned to us. "Do you, 'ponies' think you can help us with a certain problem?"

Well if it means not getting killed, sure.

I nodded, knowing I've taken engineering classes, and actually aced most of them, I may be stubborn but at least I got my reasons.
I followed the female, and she showed me the power generator, the thing was practically dismantled, no wonder why half the bloody ship was down. She pointed at it and I got right to work, most of the circuits of the generator had fallen out, so carefully I slid them back into place, and I had to do this a few hundred times, then I reconnected some of the wires, and boom, the generator was humming and working.

The female placed one of, what Lyra Heartstrings calls "Fingers" on her so called "Hands" on her ear and started talking. "Sir, the powers back online... Yep we'll be there in a few moments." she put her "hand" down. "You, follow me, your friends are at the cockpit, and so is the rest of the team, we're going up there." I nodded as a response and followed her all the way to the "cockpit" and found out "cockpit" was just a fancy human word for the pilot's section of the ship.

The engines flared up, and the ship started to fly towards the planet below, it didn't take long for an error to occur, just when I thought the error was minor, it got serious when the error turned out to be the "Atmospheric Orbital Shield" had blown out, along with the "Port Engine" The ape things, which I remembered from Lyra, calling them "Humans" were scrambling around, the ship started to rotate, and they started to leave the "cockpit".

This ship is about to go down in flames, and they're leaving the only way to maneuver the ship empty?

Me and the Twins panicked, I told the Twins, to go help the "Humans" as I walked over to the pilot seat, and used my magic to maneuver the ship, man this was risky, but, fortunately the ship has this big steering well like thing, I used my magic to use it, and the ships temperature was rising, then the AOB kicked back in, but the ships Port Engine started going loose, and we had just broken through the atmosphere of this planet, and we we're falling fast, I angled the ship so it wasn't nose diving, and we flew right over this giant city and with a loud series of noises, we landed in a forest. The ship wasn't damaged too badly, thank god, I'm just worried about the others.

They came into the room, one of them holding Star in there "arms", and she was bawling her eyes out.

Oh no...

The human carrying her, looked at Star with a face feeling bad for her. "What h-happened?" I said, hesitantly, worried sick.
The human responded with guilt. "We had to access the Radiation room to boost the power of the shields, but one of the ponies, sacrificed herself to the Radiation room, and that room is filled with toxic gas."

A tear dropped from my eye. "I.... I, see..." I held back my tears, and the human let Star down, and she ran over to me, hugged me tightly and cried more, her tears hitting me like bullets, I hugged her back, I did what I could to make her feel better. "We must go now, Th-Thank you for getting Star out safely." I know it wasn't the best thing I could've said, but I wasn't trying to bawl my eyes out. The human spoke back, "No, Thank you, for getting us home safely. I'm sorry for your loss. She will be remembered" I drew out my book, and I used the spell once again, back in space, in the bubble.

I don't know how to get home, but hopefully I will figure it out. For now, lets go to another universe, hopefully without another loss.

I piloted the bubble to the portal, and like before, it sucked us in.
