"Mmm....waffles...." He was dreaming of breakfast again... "Sunny!" He still didn't wake up I'm annoyed now so I go into my house grab a bucket of water...and dumped it on him. “Ahhhh! What the? Ocean!” I start laughing. “You didn’t wake up so I had to do it myself.” He looked at me irritated. “You could of just shook me awake.” I giggle. “Where’s the fun it that?” He looks at me with a goofly “So you want fun eh?” he gets up and spreads his wings. “What are you going to do to me?” I give him a flirtatious look and smirk. “You already know.” he tackles me and tickles me with his wings and I start laughing hysterically. “Ha! Okay okay! 3) Romance/Love by Quantum107View OnlineSuper Pony Tales Anthology: By The Equestrian Writer's Group3) Romance/Love by Quantum107True love. It is something that I thought only existed in either fairy tales that a mare or stallion reads to their foals before bedtime, or in a cheesy romance movie that most mares go crazy over. Is it wrong to say that’s what I feel when I’m with him? Me; Soarin, a member of the Wonderbolts, a stallion that most mares want to be with and most stallions aspire to be like. Although, as cruel as it may sound, I have no interest in that kind of relationship with a mare. I have not made my feelings public knowledge yet; I am still “in the closet” as the saying goes. I know I have to break the news to Rainbow Dash soon; she has been vying for my attention the most. She keeps putting herself in these awkward situations as she tries to “put the moves” on me and I keep coming up with excuses to turn down her advances. I’d hate to lead her along, thinking I want to have that kind of relationship with her when I really cannot. I love her, but not in that way. My heart belongs to another, a certain Earth pony stallion that as an affinity for apples. I can’t explain why I feel this way about him. Maybe it’s something as simple as his deep, red coat, his emerald, green eyes, his orange mane, or maybe it’s because when I’m with him I just feel…right. Like I could spend an eternity with him and not regret a thing. If this is a dream, then I do not want to wake up from it.
4) Romance/Love by DemonBrightSpiritView OnlineSuper Pony Tales Anthology: By The Equestrian Writer's Group4) Romance/Love by DemonBrightSpiritWhat a horrible night! The Grand Galloping Gala was a complete, unmitigated disaster. Prince Blueblood had to be the most insufferable, snooty, self-absorbed... Ugh! Just the thought of him made the pearly unicorn's blood sear and rush. If she never saw the pompous unicorn again she would consider it a personal victory worthy of a Pinkie Pie party. Granted, it wasn't all so bad. The time she had spent with her friends at Joe's Donut Shop was fairly enjoyable, but still... she just couldn't seem to put the night behind her. That's how she ended up here in a hotel bar in the wee hours of the morning. Around her were the same sort of pomp ponies that had ruined her night. Nothing less was to be expected from a hotel bar in this part of Canterlot, especially on the night of the gala. At least the ponies here had manners and weren't complete snobs. Sighing, she turned back to the drink in front of her. It was only half-finished. The problem she was facing wasn't the disaster that had occurred. It was the crushing realization that what she had gotten exactly what she had wanted, and she hated it. With every fiber of her being, she hated it. He was a prince. He was posh and decadent. He always dressed just so and held himself with an immaculate posture. He was the proper crowd. And he was just awful. Is that really what she was striving to achieve? With a wince, she realized that this must be the way Applejack often felt about her. A useless, selfish thing more obsessed with the superfluous than what really mattered. Generosity, loyalty, honesty, kindness, laughter; these were the things that mattered most. Prince Blueblood didn't exhibit any of these. Making a mental note to never, ever allow herself to become like that, she lifted her glass to her lips and took a sip just as an earth pony sat next to her. The demure mare fit right in with the crowd. She wore a pink bow-tie and had her mane neatly pulled back. Her lavender eyes seemed to be rather exhausted as she motioned with a hoof to the bartender. "Quite the show you put on there," the grey mare greeted as the bartender put a glass in front of her. She must have been a regular here. "Almost made the night worth it, seeing Prince Blueblood get what he had coming." The unicorn felt a gentle heat in her cheeks, prompting her to lift her glass in an effort to mask the blush. "Yes, he certainly did." She took a sip. "Trust me, you don't know the half of it." The lavender-eyed mare took a swallow of her own drink. "I finally get a gig to play at the Grand Galloping Gala and that pink menace ruins our set," she said in turn. "We may very well be ruined because of this fiasco." "Oh! My apologies! I didn't even recognize you!" she said as she primped her purple mane. "You were the cellist at the gala. I'm afraid I didn't get to appreciate your work much, but what I heard was simply marvelous." "Thank you, Miss..." "Where are my manners tonight?" she admonished herself. "I certainly hope Prince Blueblood didn't rub off on me. My name is Rarity. I run a boutique in Ponyville." "Only one name? Elegant." The grey earth pony raised her glass towards Rarity. "I'm Octavia Melody." Rarity brought her glass to Octavia's. "To the worst night ever." She jokingly toasted. "Yes, the worst night ever." Rarity giggled as she held a hoof over her mouth. "At least it can't possibly be any worse than what already happened." Octavia nodded as she finished her drink. "I agree wholeheartedly." She sent a sideways glance at Rarity before getting down off of her stool. "You said you are from Ponyville, yes? Where are you staying for the night?" Clopping a hoof on the counter, she left a key there. "If you need a place to stay or would simply enjoy company for the evening, I am staying here at the hotel." "Actually, the Princess has reserved me a suite at the castle," Rarity absentmindedly replied as she looked to the key and considered the implications. "Th-the castle!?" Octavia recoiled a bit. The Princess reserved her a personal suite at the castle? Oh you are such a fool Octavia! Her mind raced as she looked much like an animal caught in a trap. She was with Prince Blueblood all night. Of course she is a VIP! Octavia tried to come up with some sort of apology, but her vocal cords seemed to be paralyzed. Luckily, her legs didn't suffer the same affliction. In a flash she was gone. "Now, when you say 'company,’" Rarity looked up as she took the key in her hoof. Octavia was gone. How mysterious. She found herself intrigued as she turned the key over in her hoof. "Barkeep, another drink, if you please," she requested as the pony walked by. In but a moment a new drink sat on the counter in front of her. Certainly Rarity was no fool, but it was difficult to judge just how many strings may have been attached to that little key. Taking a demure drink from the glass, she mulled it over. It didn't take her long to decide on two things. One: this night couldn't possibly get any worse. Two: nopony could possibly be worse than Prince Blueblood. Leaving a few bits next to her unfinished drink, she got up and studied the key. The room number was clearly imprinted on the key. Looking up, Rarity saw two routes. She could head to the hotel’s elevators. The key told her that Ocatavia’s room was on the fourth floor. On the other hoof, she could always just head back to the castle, call it a night, and go home with her friends in the morning. Shaking her head just a bit, she adopted a determined look. She headed for the elevators.
6) Random By Quantum107View OnlineSuper Pony Tales Anthology: By The Equestrian Writer's Group6) Random By Quantum107It was the end of a very long day for Princesses Celestia and Luna, one of those days they wish they could forget had ever happened. Their day consisted of sitting in boring meeting after boring meeting, listening to delegates drone on about whatever they deemed was vital to Equestria. The life of a diplomat is not as glorious as it seems. Much to the relief of the princesses, the day finally ended and they could relax. There was only one way they wanted to relax and blow off some steam, something they did every so often when days like these would rear their ugly head. It involved copious amounts of alcohol, enough to knock any normal pony on their flank. However, Celestia and Luna were anything but normal. The two sat in a living room-like area of the castle that conveniently had its own private bar. Celestia was rather fluent in mixology, being alive for over a thousand years gave her plenty of time to learn new skills. She mixed up some drinks for herself and Luna, trying various exotic combinations. One drink became two, two became three, and then…it continued on until they lost count. Eventually they made the transition from mixed drinks to drinking straight out of the liquor bottles. Celestia enjoyed her spiced rum; Luna was partial to pepper vodka. By now the two mares were three sheets to the wind; proper judgment was completely out the window as well as the rest of their mental faculties. Thankfully, they could still walk…somewhat. So, if they wanted to leave, they could. Which was good because Luna was starting to feel a little antsy. “I need to get out of here; I’m starting to feel cooped up,” Luna rambled. “This bird needs to spread her wings and fly!” She shuffled off of the bar stool she was sitting on and landed unceremoniously on her hooves. It was a miracle that she didn’t land on her face. “Wait, if you’re going, then I’m coming with,” Celestia added. “You’re my little sister, and…and I love you!” she hopped off of her bar stool and approached Luna “And I mean it! I don’t throw that around lightly,” she took another swig of her rum. Luna grabbed her bottle of vodka with her magic. “Alright, let’s do this!” she announced. Celestia grabbed her bottle of rum and joined her sister as they began to leave. The door swung open to one of the many hallways inside Canterlot castle. It was late so the hallway was completely barren save for the two drunken princesses and a lone guard all the way at the other end. Celestia took her place next to her sister as they marched down the hallway, or at least they thought they were marching. It was more like “take a few steps and stumble a bit”, but it worked. The two closed the distance between them and the guard, who was on one of his usual patrols around the castle. Luna peeled herself away from her sister’s side and placed herself in the guard’s path. Instinctively, the guard gave a respectful bow to the princesses, as was protocol for the Royal Guard. “Heeeey, aren’t you just the cutest thing? You doing anything later?” Luna asked, trying her best to be seductive in her drunken state. “Just my rounds…” the stallion spoke, visibly confused and uncomfortable. “Come on Luna, leave the poor guy alone,” Celestia pulled her sister away from the guard and started back on their way toward the castle exit. Luna turned her head back toward the guard. “Hey, come find me if you wanna have some fun later,” she blew a kiss at him which only made the guard feel even more uncomfortable. Once the guard was out of sight, Luna turned her attention back to Celestia, who was shaking her head at the younger mare. “What? He wouldn’t be the first guard I’ve fooled around with,” she grinned. “Yeah, I know Luna since you like to share all the filthy details with me,” Celestia rolled her eyes. Eventually the two found the castle exit, which took a little longer than normal due to their inebriated state. This castle had too many hallways and doors anyway. Outside on the front lawn stood the giant marble fountain. Luna got an idea. “I just got the best idea ever!” Luna stopped her sister. “We should go swimming in the fountain!” she said with way more enthusiasm than was necessary. Celestia pondered this for a hot minute. “That sounds like a splendid idea!” she exclaimed. Luna wasted no time setting her bottle of vodka down on the fountain’s rim and diving head first into the water. “Ooh, that’s cold!” Luna shouted as she resurfaced. Celestia set her bottle down next to Luna’s and dove into the water herself. Luna wasn’t lying, that water was cold. The two splashed around in the water like two flailing fish while a few ponies came out to see what all the commotion was. The princesses didn’t care; they were more focused on the soothing cold water than how unorthodox their choice of a swimming pool was. Alcohol has a tendency to do that. Once they were thoroughly soaked and had splashed water on every square inch of the lawn, they pulled themselves out of the fountain, remembering to grab their alcohol. “I’m hungry,” Luna said after taking swig of vodka. “I know exactly where to go,” Celestia said after pondering for a second. The two departed with alcohol in hoof on an epic quest to one place in Canterlot that was sure to be open this late, Donut Joe’s. At least that part of Celestia’s memory was still accessible; she remembered hanging out there with Twilight, Spike, and there five friends after the first Grand Galloping Gala they all went to as a group. Those were good times, although, she suspected Spike had a donut addiction problem. As the two arrived at the small donut shop, Celestia tried to open the door, but missed the handle and ended up putting her hoof through the glass pane. The glass shattered into a million pieces, frightening Joe and any other customers inside. Celestia, however, wasn’t fazed. She grabbed the handle this time and swung the door open. The two mares marched inside the shop with Luna giggling at what just happened. “Hey, I will totally fix this,” she looked at Joe and pointed a hoof at the now broken door. “It’s okay,” Joe said. Celestia had come into his shop before but never in this state. It was so obvious to him that she and Luna were way beyond tipsy. Celestia pressed her face up against the glass display that housed the various donut flavors. Well, pressed it against the glass as much as she could without her horn getting in the way. Luna followed suit, scanning through the different flavors. “I know,” Celestia shifted her attention back to Joe. “We’ll take a dozen of the most fattening thing you have.” “And make sure it has lots of sugar in it,” Luna added. “Um okay,” Joe said as he started scooping out a dozen of the most decadent donut flavors he could and placed them in a box for Celestia. Celestia conjured up a bag of bits and plopped it down on the counter. “Keep the change,” she grabbed the box of donuts with her magic. The two found an empty table near the window to enjoy their sweet treats. One bite was all it took to transport them to sugar nirvana. “Oh, these are so good!” Celestia exclaimed. “I wanna rub these all over my body!” Luna added. Celestia chuckled at that statement. The two mares quickly munched through the donuts, not giving a second thought that they would go straight to their thighs. They were good though, and warm, like they just came out of the fryer. Donut Joe did not disappoint. As with most tangible things, it came to an end. It was the same story with their alcohol; their bottles were completely empty now. The princesses took this as a sign to call it a night. They left to go back to their respective bedrooms to pass out for the night. It was the last bit of relaxation they would enjoy because the following morning they were going to have to deal with the mother of all hangovers.

It was round, and craggy, and crackly, and had faint crystals and...well, was everything a blob was looking for in a rock. He oozed over to Tom, smiling as he went. Tom remained motionless. The Smooze said, "Bluurbable." Tom didn't answer. The Smooze scratched its head and said, "Gernsgfdj brudn." Tom remained unfazed. About the time, Pinkie Pie hopped by. She saw the Smooze looking kind of sad, so she hopped up to him asked, "What's wrong Smoozy?" The Smooze said, "Blurbageh." Pinkie Nodded in understanding. "Oh I see. Love can be a tough thing. I think Tom just needs some time to get to know you." Tom remained still. The Smooze sighed. "Brudhfjg," Smoozy said, oozing away sadly. Pinkie Pie rubbed her chin in thought, then looked at Tom. She noticed that Tom was sleeping. "Oh, that explains some things," she said, running to catch up with the Smooze. When she caught up she explained everything and the Smooze decided to try again when Tom was awake. Tom responded to The Smooze's affections and agreed to go to a movie later that week. Everyone beside Pinkie, on the other hand, had no idea how a blob thing could be dating a rock. But no one questioned it because they didn't want to be rude. And from that day forward The Smooze and Tom The Rock lived happily ever after, except for the occasional fights about who got to play the WII U.

Spike came around the corner, an eyebrow raised in confusion at what Twilight was doing. He walked up beside her and asked, "What are you looking for?" Twilight didn't pause to look at Spike and simply answered, "Rusty nails." "Rusty nails?" Spike answered, still confused. "Yes," Twilight said, continuing to feel along the shelves, "Rusty nails." "But why?" Twilight paused momentarily as if to gather her thoughts. She picked up where she left off, feeling along the book shelf and said, "They are what did this to me." "Did what?" asked Spike, starting to feel uneasy. Twilight let out deep, slow laugh. She slowly turned her head around to reveal a pair of glowing green eyes, a mouth filled with sharp teeth, and matted fur. "They are what made me, into THIS." Then her body slowly turned green and started to gather into flames around her, to make her appear as if she was made of fire. Spike let out a scream and ran out of the library, never turning once to look back. When Spike was out of sight, Twilight let out a chuckle and returned to her original, normal form. She picked up a spell book on transformations off of a nearby table and said, "I knew this would come in handy one day. That will teach Spike to play pranks on me when I'm trying to study." She continued to laugh to herself as she went about tidying up her work space. She would let Spike think about what he had done for a while before she went after him and explained things. For now, it was just her, books, and hours of bother-free organization. Who could ask for more?
