Harmony in the Blade

We'd all just come out of the throne room which was a total felief to me. It had been only fiveteen minuets and it had driven my crazy...

totally crazy. First pony suggested more schools for the kids. Second one suggested more fire departments because fires are starting more

and more. The third pony suggested another orphanage one which i was happy to always do. The fourth pony asked for a little more land

for the earth ponies to use as farm scorce for food and so on. It wasn't that bad but i still hated it because i'm not use to ruling like that so

much. I ran to my room and took off my things and when i was done i let out a sigh and a smile.

"No more Court day for an entire week... Perfect..." I said flopping onto my bed. I got up and started to read a little. I'd only got to the

second chapter when i heard a fimiliar voise at the door... my mother...

"Harmony come on sweetheart. I need you at the training ground... now." She said. I sighed and went with her. On my way i bumped into

Blueblood.

"Oh sorry Blueblood... I didn't see you. How are you anyways it feels like i havent seen you since our.. little problem..." I said nuzzling him.

"Just fine honey... how about you? Is that... scare gone now?" He asked me nuzzling me back.

"Gone thanks to my unkle. i'm on my way to the training grounds... want to come with me?" I asked.

"I could go with you if you want... you sure you should be doing training after yesterday though?" He asked me with a little consern. I giggled

a little.

"Sweetheart i've been through worse in my life... i'll survive." I replied. He rolled his eyes.

"What type of worse?" he asked curiouse.

"Ruling... Being an alicorn all my life... Court day..." I shivered at the last one.

"Wait what?" He asked.

"Yes i admit it... i'm a princess... that hates court day..." I mummbled. He stopped.

"How come you didn't say before?" He asked. I knew he was a little disapointed.

"I don't know... I just... don't like wearing a crown... i don't think it would suit me..." I said with a little giggle.

"It's okay. I have a feeling my auntie Celestia and Luna know how you feel... I'm not mad you'd become a princess soon anyways because if

you'd ever marry me you'd have to wear a crown... but you've always been a princess with or without a crown." He told me giving me a

nuzzle one which i was happy to return.

"Thank you... Let's go my mother would probably be done with that course by now... She says she'd invited a friend over to help me with

training but why? I've mastered EVERYTHING in training... almost.. I can't do archery yet... something which my family was never TOO

familiar with... Oh here we are." I said. We'd both arrived at the training grounds.

"Harmony... Where have you been?" My mother said trotting over to me.

"I slowed down on the way... So what are we doing today?" I asked knowing the answer already.

"archery... ShieldStar... Where is he?" My mother asked. I noticed him coming up to me for a surprise attack. With out nopony noticing i used

my magic to get out my sword. When he was about to strike i turned around to block him... and i did so succesfully. The other two went out

of the way and watched. as the two of us faught throwing some complex moves at eachother... okay for HIM it was complex but for me it

was just simple moves.They watched hoping none of us would get hurt. He threw my sword out of my grip making it clang against the

ground on the other side of the training grounds. I smiled... something that caught him off-guard. When i knew he thought he was done and

i was beat i suddenly jumped a long length and ran the rest of the way there. i know he was right behind me i made a sharp turn for a

shortcut and to slow him down. I grabbed my sword and stopped him just in time. We both kept going until my unkle decided to be unfair

and join in on my opponents side. I faught ShieldStar until i flipped his sword on the other side. While he was busy getting his sword i

turned around and started to fight with my unkle. This guy was more of a challange but he still stood no chance considering he couldn't

beat my mother. I kept on fighting until i saw ShieldStar with his sword. I had an idea and led my unkle to him and when i saw both of them

wanting to try to get me i jumped out of the way and they both got eachother. When they did i finally smiled. I knew Shining was behind me.

Blueblood was just about to shout at me when i turned to start fighting Shining armour. He was sharp but i was and had to be sharper. This

guy was easily beat. When i knew they were all finished i smiled and trotted to the others who watched. I had a smile on my face while the

ones who watched had their jaws nailed to the ground... all but my mother who i knew expected no less from me. Through out the battle

other ponies had joined to see. Celestia was one. Luna and Cadence. Tiger was another one who watched.

"Easy as pie.." Was all i said. Most ponies looked surprised.

"You took on THREE ponies... How was that easy?" Cadence asked me.

"Cadence.. I train and learn... There are times when you have to learn things to do things you don't want to." I replied with a smile.

"Umm... you beat your unkle. My captain of the guards at home and a pony who could fight and really well all at the same time... You sure it

was just training?" Celestia asked.

"Of course... Oh ShieldStar come here buddy." I said he came trotting to me with a smile.

"You pack a punch you know Harmony... Must be from your mother." He said whispering the last bit to me. I giggled.

"I know. Okay ponies this is ShieldStar my captain commander of the guards and best friend since i was a filly." I introduced.

"Hi. I'm guessing you ponies aren't from around here... am i right?" He said.

"We're from the other side of the everfree forest... no we're not from around" Luna replied for all of them. ShieldStar nodded and smiled.

"Well then welcome to the Kingdom Paradise. I hope Princess Harmony has welcomed you well... from what i know she really doesn't like

being treated like royalty." ShieldStar stated looking at me then back at the others.

"Kingdom Paradise? How come It's never really been said or heard of?" Cadence asked seeing her husbind coming to her.

"It's because it is thought of being a legand. While it is real millions of ponies do not know it exists. Those who do come here for peace and

no attacks and to live in harmony. Here ponies do not see others different as weird only as unique and welcome them. Say if Discord came

here as a young child he wouldn't be denied and turned back on. He would be treated like family and be welcomed." I replied.

"How come you know that?" Luna asked.

"Let's just say i've stayed with Discord once... interesting day i will admit it." i replied with a giggle.

"He is pretty inter- wait a second... how come you're not... well... discorded?" Luna asked. I giggled.

"Let us just say i'm not in the entire normal alicorn estate..." I said with a light giggle. ShieldStar giggled with me because he knew to. We

both gave a hoof bump while still giggling.

"Okay... I must go now Harmony. My mother needs me to look after my little sister and i know that the kid will be exited... Bye." He said

waving to us before he went. They alll replied with a happy 'bye' and a smile.

"anyhow... I will be going for a walk... anypony want to come?" I asked.

"Don't think i can do anything for the rest of the day... Still... how in the good name of our family can you face three ponies all at once and

still not be tired?" My unkle asked.

"I've had my times... and i can take on you lot in magic too if i put my mind to it." I replied with a smirk.

"I bet you couldn't... But i wont say a thing becuse you can be as right as your mother so... Bye." He said. I giggled giving a hoof bump to my

mother who was also giggling slightly.

"Your unkle tends to be a teeny bit of a quiter sometimes... overall he wont give up until he has his way..." My mother told me. I giggled.

"Couldn't help but agree mom... was he like that when you two were kids?" I asked her.

"Oh yes but a lot more stubborn and hated to accept the fact that i always won him when we were training... " My mother replied with

another giggle.

"Okay... I will be going to..." I started trailing off when i felt something was wrong... I couldn't put my hoof on it but i knew something was

wrong.

"What's wrong?" My mother asked me.

"Where did i put my... ahem... gem collection mom?" I asked.

"Gem coll- Oh..." Luna said realising what i was talking about. My Harmony stones... i was talking about those things... and she knew.

"In your room sweetheart..." My mother replied a little nurvous giggle. I took a deep breath and stopped...

"Shining armour and Cadence can you two come with me... this sort of conserns you two... and the empire..." I asked them not saying the

last three words but thinkning them. They looked at each other and nodded. They both followed me into my room and i took out my gems

as they sat down. When they saw the gems they must of thought 'what are those?' and 'what is she doing?' and 'what's going on?'. I sighed

and sat down with them.

"Okay... Harmony can you tell us what is going on please?" Cadence finally asked.

"Tell me one thing... Did you leave the protector barior on the empire?" I asked.

"No...no we didn't... why?" Shining armour replied. I cast a spell making each of my gems spin and edventually make something like a

rainbow ring. all of a sudden an image started to appear in the middle of the rainbow-like ring. It was the Crystal Empire... Let's just say we

needed to get there and fast.

"Sometimes... not even the crystal heart can keep out all evil..." I told them.

"But the crystal heart is more powerful than ever... right?" Cadence asked. I sighed.

"Listen to this story i have for you." I told them. They looked at me confused.

"Oookkkaay..." Shining armour said. I giggled and started.

"Once there lived a young colt. His passion was to learn. In his day there wasn't school... there where teachers but they taught in their

homes. This young colt had a thirst for knowlage... wanting to know more and more... there wasn't anything he did not know about natural

magic anything knew he'd find out about he'd learn it by the second... BUT... he wanted more. His dreams was to one day soon become the

best. He had everything a pony would want... or a twin. His family was simple... or it seemed. His father with a heart as back as night and

with a mother as caring as a butterfly. He had his sister who was his complete opposit. While he was abishous and only cared about his

future his sister was... how do i say this... more pleasent." I said looking down at the image casting a spell to help me mess around with

what was going on.

"and..." Continued Shining armour.

"Try to figure out the rest... try to guess what happened." I told them.

"Can you give us a clue... this makes no sence..." Cadence asked. I noded.

"anything knew he'd find he'd want to learn about it... Teachers would teach in their homes." I re-told them.

"Can we call somepony to help us?" Shining asked. I giggled as Celestia walked by and popped he head in the room.

"Oh Celestia can you help us on something? Please?" Cadence asked. She nodded and came in.

"What do you need my assistence in?" She asked with a smile.

"Can you repeat the story?" Cadence asked me. I nodded and re-told the story. Celestia heard every word and started thinking.

"Clue to finding out what happens to the colt is 'anything knew he'd find he'd want to learn about it... Teachers that time taught in their

homes." I told her.

"Hmm... if i was to guess... It would be at the time when Dark magic wasn't discovered as much..." She replied.

"But wait... " Cadence realised.

"He colt found that type of magic and controlled it... didn't he?" Shining asked. I nodded.

"Yes... You might want to go to the Crystal empire now..." I told them.

"Why?" Celestia asked. I pointed at the image. There where crystals outside that where becoming pure black and it made the crystal loose

its' shine. They gasped. What they saw was horrifiying... i really couldn't blame them. The sky started to fill with dark cluds instead of seeing

the sunny skies it was darkness... everywhere.

"He's back... how is he back?" Panicked Cadence. I sighed.

"He always finds a way...no matter what..."I said under my breath with tears threatining to show but i managed to stop them from coming.

"Let's go. Or he'll be unstoppable." Shining armour exclaimed. They all stormed out of the room and left me. I let out a sigh and trotted over

to my closet and took out my crown and looked into the mirror.

"Now or never Harmony... Now or never..." I said to myself.

*NO PONIES POV*

*[/b]At the Crystal Empire..*.**

The Empire was in pure misery by now. Dark Crystals everywhere. No hope. No love... Just torture and Evil. Evil. The very thing that held that

one being.... that one pony. The very King of shadows himself... King Sombra. With his dark grey fur and black flickering mane. armour and a

red cape fit for a king and that covered his cutiemark. King. That was NO word to describe him... ever. He was in 'his throne' at the crystal

castle. Laughing to himself. He has 'his own' empire. Slaves and more. Suddenly he saw the doors to the throne room open. In the hallway

stood Celestia. Luna. Cadence and Shining armour with Blueblood at the back.

"Well look who found out... i must thank you for offering me your kingdom... that was very generous of you..." He said with a cackle.

"Sombra... get out of my kingdom... this instant..." Cadence growled gritting her teeth while saying so.

"It was never yours to begin with." He stated. Luna glared at him and the others did the same. He rolled him eyes.

"I swear it was ment to be the other way Sombra..." Said a voice from behind. When he turned he grew a little bit worries... a little bit.

Standing there was Harmony... but she changed. How y'all would ask? Her mane was flowing with a glimmer of sparkles just like celestias'

but only with her strips of blue and pink in it

"Oh Harmony... You've not changed... literally." Sombra said with an evil smile curling on his lips. Harmony rolled her eyes.

"Just the stallion i wanted to see... NOT..." She said.

"Well... i'll take care of you later... i've got ponies here to take care of so... be a good mare and go away." He said turning to the others who

were just as comfused as eachother. He had no idea of the wave of strong wind that was reaching him. When he DID notice it he was flying

to the crystal walls. Harmony smirked and trotted up to him.

"Seems YOU'VE not changed Sombra... you were never the pony for surprise attacks..." Harmony stated with a smirk that had not come off

her face.

"Seems you've not weakned with that spell Harmony..." He said weakly trying to get up. Harmony sighed. this was when Luna stepped in.

"What spell Harmony? and... How do you know him?" Luna asked conserened about Harmony.

"It's nothing..." Harmony muttered.

"We grew up together... that's why she knows me." Sombra filled in for me.

"Wha-? Did you?" Shining armour asked. Harmony sighed.

"Yes... yes we did." I replied. They all gasped...
