The young filly hyperventilated, panic filling every domain of her body in its thickness, dread and terror taking its toll.

“Look everywhere! dont let her get away!” A furious voice called from near by, deep, and angry.

The filly continued to panic, attempting to slow her quick, sharp breaths.

A candle light burned in the distance, the filly backed further into her small corner pure horror enlisted on her face.

“Shhh” Clearly a mares voice whispered from the shadows, “its ok” the voice encouraged now coming closer towards the young foal.

“I’m not going to hurt you, I’m here to help”. The mare was close enough for her face to be dimly seen in the soft candle light. Underneath a navy blue cloak, a light grey Unicorn, with an ombre coloured mane and crystal blue eyes, illuminated in the darkness.

“My name is Sapphire”. The unicorn smiled warmly, her eyes reassuring the foal.

The unicorn beckoned the filly forward, before turning her back and walking away slowly. Almost knowingly, the young mare followed close behind.

Sapphire navigated her way through the forest at the dim light of the candle, determination spread across her face, seemingly weary amongst the shadowy trees.

The silence was quickly broken.

“This way! I saw her go this way!” came a pessimistic voice near by.

“They’ve found us” Sapphire whispered.
