The creed of Equestria

The next morning started out normally for Twilight, which was reading books in the library. After about 45 minutes she decided she should do something else, but she couldn’t think of anything.

“Twilight! You have a letter from The Princesses!” Said Spike as he ran down the stairs holding a letter.

“What does it say Spike?” Asked Twilight, turning to face the purple dragon.

“My faithful student, we ask you and The Elements of Harmony to come to Canterlot quickly. We need your assisstance in something of great importance that has happened. From the Princesses Luna and Celestia.” Spike read aloud, making twilight worried.

“Whatever happened must be bad. Spike send letters to the girls telling them to come here and hurry and explain why.” Said Twilight making Spike hurry and send the letters.

“Pack a bag Spike. We're going to Canterlot.” Said Twilight going upstairs.

Globes day had also started out as normal as normal can be, when he heard a knock on the door. He went to answer it to find Ditzy standing In front of the doorway.

“Hello Ditzy! What is it?” Asked Globe when Ditzy handed him a letter.

“This letter is for you, from Canterlot, Bye!” Said Ditzy before flying off.

Globe then closed the door and sat in a chair and began to read the letter.

Globe we have bad news. Please make haste and come quickly. Time is running SHORT we await your arrival and hope for good news.

Globe looked at this with his eyes full of worry. He then quickly ran upstairs to pack a bag.

After an hour, The Elements of Harmony grouped at the Golden Oaks Library with bags ready for their trip.

“I’m glad you all came here as fast as you could.” Said Twilight, as they left the library and headed for the train station.

“I wonder what could get the princesses so worried!” Stated Rarity with confusion in her voice.

“I don’t know... But it must be big!” Said Twilight as they reached the trail station.

“Hey, what’s Globe doing here?” Asked Spike when they all looked, and saw Globe, who seemed to be waiting for a train.

“I don’t know...” Said Applejack when they walked to him.

“Hey Globe!” They said, startling him.

“Hey girls, are you waiting for a train?” Asked Globe looking at them.

“We’re going to Canterlot by order of The Princesses.” Answered Twilight smiling “Where are you going though?” She then asked.

“I’m going to Canterlot to see my friends there. They wanted to see me.” He answered.

“May we meet these friends of yours?” Asked Rarity walking up to him.

“I’m sure that’s fine, they own an Inn there too. That’s where I’m staying for the night.” Globe said, making them confused.

“They all own the Inn?” Asked Fluttershy.

“All three of them.” He answered when the train came and the conductor walked off and shouted.

“Train for Canterlot!” He shouted, letting ponies on.

“There’s the train; let’s go!” Said Rainbow as they all boarded.

After about 2 hours, the train stopped and everyone walked off.

“Well, it’s nice to be back in Canterlot." Globe said walking into the city followed by The Elements of Harmony.

“So, what Inn do yours friends own?” Asked Fluttershy when they turned a corner.

“It’s called the White Light Inn.” Globe answered making them all confused.

“Haven’t heard of that Inn...” Said twilight walking next to Globe.

“It’s not that popular, but they still get buisness.” He said making them all no longer confused. “There it is!” Said Globe as they approached a building with a sign that said ‘White Light Inn’.

“Well I’m excited to meet these ponies.” Said Rarity making Globe stop.

“Be aware, they might be not what you’re used to...” Said Globe, a little uneasy.

“It’s ok! We’re friends with pinkie." Said Spike as they continued walking towards the building.

They opened the door to see nopony in it making the girls and Spike a little confused.

“Where are they?” Asked Rainbow looking at Globe.

“They're probably just in the storage room in the back.” Said Globe pointing at a door when a blue griffon walked out.

“Why did I have to do that job...” Grumbled the griffon. When he saw the 7 ponies and dragon, he recognised his friend.

“Ah Globe! you made” Said the griffon as Globe walked up to him.

“Hey! How’s buisness been?” Asked Globe when he stopped in front of the counter where the griffon was.

“Normal, but who are these ponies?” Asked the griffon pointing at them.

“These are my new friends! Twilight, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy.” He said, pointing to all of them.

“And who’s the dragon?” Asked the griffon looking at the dragon.

“That’s Spike; and everypony this is Midnight. He’s one of the owners.” Said Globe introducing them to his griffon friend.

“Nice to meet you.” Said Midnight walking towards them.

“Well, we sure didn’t expect this.” Said Twilight with the other 5 ponies nodding.

“What did you think we would be. Ponies?” Asked Midnight.

“Hey, where are the others?” Asked Globe trying to change the subject.

“Shift is making the rooms, and Zook is cleaning the kitchen while I was checking the storage.” Answered Midnight looking at Globe now, when they heard a fire start to burn up.

“What was that?” Asked Spike looking towards what he assumed was the kitchen.

“That was probably Zook getting the kitchen warmed up.” Answered Midnight walking towards the kitchen.

“Hey Globe, are all ya friends griffons?” Asked applejack walking to him.

“No. only him.” He answered making her sigh with relief when Midnight walked out of the kitchen.

“I told him you were here and would like him to meet your friends,” Said 'Night walking by the group. “And he is happy to know there is a dragon here.” He added, making Spike curious. Then the door opened and a white dragon with gold spikes along his back, and a gold underbelly walked out, startling the ponies and making Spike a little excited to see another dragon living amongst ponies.

“So these are your friends Globe?" Asked Zook walking towards them. If Spike had to guess, he was the size of the teenage dragons he had met once before.

“Yeah. I’m assuming Midnight told you they're names?” Said Globe, getting a nod from Zook then looked down to see Spike.

“Nice to see another dragon living in a town of ponies!” Said Zook, getting a nod from Spike.

“Well, now who is your last friend?” Asked twilight making them all have a worried expression.

“We don’t know what you’ll think of him...” Said Midnight while Zook headed upstairs.

“Well you’re not average friends and we’re fine with you.” Said rainbow confused.

“Well you see--” Said Globe, when Zook walked the stairs and whispered to them making their eyes go wide.

“Is he serious?” Asked Midnight getting a nod from

“Well, he wishes to meet you all and hopes for the best...” Said Globe when they all heard somepony walk down the stairs and the girls and Spike saw a black horn.

“Everypony, meet Shift.” Said Globe as he moved out of the way letting them see a changeling standing there before waving his bug like hoof at them.

“Hi” He said a little shyly.

“A changeling is your friend!?” Exclaimed them all except Fluttershy and Spike.

“We met him after the changeling invasion.” Said Globe as Shift walked closer to them.

“I won’t hurt you I never did hurt any innocent creature” He said as Fluttershy walked closer to him.

“I believe you.” She said, making him smile when Spike followed.

“Me too.” He said, making his smile a little bigger.

“I don’t trust him...” Whispered rainbow to the girls, getting a nod from all of them.

“Well, it was nice meeting you all but we need to go. The Princesses want us.” Said Twilight.

“We’re going to stay here for a bit. We would like to get to know our new friends better!” Said Fluttershy with Spike nodding.

“Ok... But after this, come to the castle.” Said Twilight as she and the rest of the girls left for the castle.

“So. What is it like being a changeling?” Asked Fluttershy, starting a conversation with Shift.

“When did you get your wings?” Asked Spike, starting a different conversation with

“So what is the problem?” Asked Globe whispering to Night.

“Our last ally in Canterlot has been killed.” Answered Night, whispering back.

“Dang it!” Said Globe, quietly stomping his hoof to the ground.

“But we wish to hear your news.” Said Night, making Globe look up.

“I have some new recruits,” Said Globe, making Night sigh with relief. “But none of them now about this yet. We have to wait.” Globe added.

“Let’s hope that is soon.” Said Night when they walked to the rest.

The rest of The Elements made it to the castle and entered the throne room to see Celestia and Luna.

“Twilight we are relieved you could make it!” Said Celestia before seeing only five of them. “Where is Fluttershy and Spike?” She then asked.

“They are with our friend Globe, getting to know his friends.” Answered Twilight.

“But what’s the problem your highness?” Asked Applejack walking towards them.

“We have found reports of murders throughout the city, and have found corpses hidden or burned.” Answered Luna making them all scared and worried.

“We had a stallion get killed yesterday in Ponyville...” Said Rainbow landing on the ground.

“Well then it seems these killings are no coincidence; they are obviously connected.” Said Celestia with a worried look.

“But what’s strange is Big Macintosh, Thunderlane, and Elemental all said they saw a changeling get killed, when it was obviously a stallion!” Said Rarity, making the two princesses flinch.

“Well, whoever is doing this we must find them and stop them.” Said Luna, getting a nod from the 5 mares before they headed for the door of the throne room.

“Before you go, we have one last thing!” Said Luna getting all their attention again.

“There was one suspect, but we found him dead in an alley killed differently and we found this.” Said Celestia, holding up a necklace with a strange symbol on it. “Take this. It may help you figure this out.” Said Celestia giving it to them.

"Thank you! We will need it.” Said Twilight as they left the castle.
