Sudden Encounter

I slowly lifted my sore head off of the cold, hard ground and surveyed the landscape before me. It seemed that in the blink of an eye I had been transported from just normally walking down the street to laying face first in what appeared to be a boulder field. Getting to my knees, I suddenly felt a strange weakness and pain my left arm. Nervously glancing to my shoulder, I saw a deep gash that stretched maybe 4 centimeters down my arm, with a small amount of dried blood crusting at the bottom of the wound.

"Ah shit!", I exclaimed as the sudden rush of pain hit me and tears started to pool in my eyes before slowly leaving a trail down my cheek. The scary thought was that I had no idea where I was and didn't have anything but my watch on my arm, and my wallet in my jeans back pocket.

Slowly, I lifted myself to my feet and started to walk over the rough ground which was littered with oddly transparent rocks that glittered with morning sunlight. Could these rocks be crystal? Leaning down to observe one I noticed that it did look like the sort of crystals that you would find a jewelry shop. My eyes widened and so did my smile as I stuffed some of the crystals down into my pocket, for once annoying the pain in my arm.

After a considerable time walking in whatever direction favored me I started to make out a small blotch of brown on the horizon (apart from the large amounts of boulders everywhere). I decided to walk towards it as it may be the only house for god knows how long. All of a sudden, the corners of my vision started to turn black and I felt a strange weakness overcome my whole body as my back arched over and my stomach lurched, spilling its fluids on the ground in front of me. That was the last thing I did as I fell forward onto the hard ground, face first.

My eyes fluttered open, lightly sweeping the crusts from the edges of my eyelids, I moved my hand up to my eyes and brushed them to get rid of the crusts. That was when I realized that I wasn't lying face first on the ground but I was actually laying on my back, like I was lying on a bed. Realizing this I shot up straight out of the bed and onto my feet quicker than I've ever done before. Looking around I saw that I was in a well furbished room, decorated with simple wooden walls and floor along with a wooden table with a stack of books at the far left corner of the room.

'Where am I?', I thought to myself. The door to the room was opposite the table on the right corner of the room. The odd thing was that the door didn't have a handle, so I just shoved it with my hand and proceeded into the hallway that was outside the room, again the floor was just a timber paneled floor, nothing to fancy. So I assumed this was some sort of cabin or shack. While walking down the surprisingly short hallway, I started to hear noises. Like someone was tapping their feet against the floor.

This sound was coming from down the set of stairs that led to the downstairs area. Which had nothing but a couch and some windows,'Wow, whoever owns this place is probably very old fashioned', I thought to myself with a light chuckle. Carefully making my way down the stairs was a hard job as for some reason they were very steep at a sharp angle, nearly impossible to not trip over. To the right at the base of the stairs the noise was coming from, slowly tiptoeing my way over the corner, the tapping noise became louder, someone was definitely moving around in there, probably in tapping shoes but that's not the point.

Slightly peeking around the corner I saw something that I've never seen in my life ever. I saw a pony. A freaking PONY! But it wasn't like a normal horse or something i-it was colored grey with a p-purple mane and tail and it looked like it was moving a pot over a stove or something, how the hell is doing that with it's...hands?. Is this 'thing' safe or hostile, finally mustering up courage I stuttered out the words, "H-hello?".

The pony let out a long sigh before slowly turning around with the grace of a slug. The first thing that drew my attention were its grayish blue eyes and purple eye shadow, purple has always been my favorite color which really made her eye shadow stand out and these eyes just, I don't know, these eyes were beautiful, mesmerizing even, and the way that they were half closed was just so gorgeous and enticing. In fact I was so hypnotized by its beauty I didn't realize that it had spoken to me.

"Oh, I see that your awake". That monotone voice snapped me back into reality as the grey pony eyed me with a surprisingly intimidating stare for something so small. Well, I better say something. "Um, who are you may I ask?", I said with a hint of nervousness in my voice.

"My name is Maud Pie", the pony responded in that same monotone, unchanging voice. "I found you lying on your face outside, now you looked a bit weird to me but I can't leave someone to die out there, so I brought you here and put you in bed". 'Wow' I thought to myself. " Well thanks for all that, but can I ask where I am?", I asked.

"Um, your in Equestria" she says. "Ok" I say, confused as to where this place was.

I also started to notice a bright blush on her cheeks, though her face didn't show it. I guess she must have noticed her own blush too because she turned back to whatever she was cooking. "Come over here please" she asked with that damn sexy voice. Moving over to her side I sat with my arm resting on the counter.

" Lean down", answering her request I put one knee on the ground and crouched down to her height.

She turned her gaze from the pot to my face as she moved her hoof to my forehead. It felt amazingly soft, almost like velvet.

" Whoa" she exclaimed, but it didn't sound like that much of an exclamation due to her unchanging voice.

"You have a huge fever, you better go lay down" she calmly said. "Go, I'll bring you a cold drink later".

Again, I noticed a bright red blush on her grey face. Not wanting to embarrass her I did what she asked and started to make my way back to my room. Halfway up the stairs though she called out saying "Oh, and by the way what's your name?"

"Ugh,my name's Chris" I called back

.

"Ok Chris",I heard her call back

After opening my door by accidentally running into it I flopped down on the bed and slowly closed my eyes, letting sleep overcome me.

"Chris....Chris you there?"

"Chris"

"Chris!"

The sudden feeling of what felt like a table leg lightly punched my arm, jolting me from my sleep. Looking at the direction of the voice I realized it was Maud, with what she promised, a cold drink of water.

" Oh, jeez Maud you scared me"

" Sorry, here's your drink"

Taking the drink from her hoof I took a tiny sip and rested it on the nightstand.

"Thanks" I said.

I slowly ran my hand through her silky smooth purple mane and lightly scratched behind her ears. She let out a soft moan and her eyes closed revealing the full extent of her purple eye shadow. Coming to terms with what she just did, Maud quickly pulled back, letting out a cute little yelp.

"Oh shit!" I said, not knowing what I just did. " I'm so sorry!"

"It's alright" Maud responded, with that cute hint of a blush on her face and probably on mine as well. After a long, akward silence she slowly backed her way out of the door.

"Well, good night" I said.

"Y-yeah,good night" she responded.

When she disappeared into the darkness of the hallway I started to fall asleep, all the while listening to her quiet footsteps making their way down the hall.
