Maud and the Human

I woke up in the middle of the night to a sound coming from the doorway. Looking to the left I made out a shadow in the doorway, starting to get paranoid I asked,

"Is anyone there?"

"It's me Chris" Maud said as she moved forward into the rays of moonlight shining in through the window and rested a hoof on the edge of the bed. Her eyes twinkled in the moonlight making them look more gorgeous than before.

"Chris, you alright?", Maud asked, bringing me back down to earth (or wherever I am).

"Y-yeah I'm fine" I respond, a little shaken.

After a little while Maud asked,

"Um, is it okay if, because it's cold,i-if I can um"

"Sleep with me" I cut her off, clearly realizing how wrong that sounded.

With a tiny blush on her face she nodded her head.

"I get scared at night, so I thought because your large and, well I can trust you", she said with her head down.

Confused for a bit I answered with,

"Sure I understand, I used to be scared at night when I was little"

Holding the blanket up for her she slowly climbed in and rested her head on the top of my chest, with her back lining down my abdomen. It was a small bed after all.

"Comfortable?" I asked

Without responding she looked up at me and nodded her head, giving me my answer. Carefully, I put the blanket just up to neck level for her and made myself comfortable.

"Chris?", Maud said.

"Yeah",I responded.

"Thanks for letting me sleep with you"

"No worries"

Then we both drifted off to sleep

Next morning I awoke with Maud lying next me with her face very close to mine, her lips nearly touching me.

"Yo, Maud, you alright there?", I asked quietly.

Suddenly Mauds mouth opened and she let out an adorable little yawn before her eyes fluttered open and she saw the predicament she was in.

"Gah!", she yelped as she pushed herself back with so much force that she was ejected from the bed and fell down to the hard timber floor below with a loud thump.

"Jeez Maud, you alright!" I exclaimed as I quickly jumped out of bed and ran to her aid.

"Yeah I'm fine", responded Maud, clearly shaken.

I grabbed her hoof while my arm other arm wrapped itself around her body and I started to pull her up of the ground before she whimpered in pain.

"Ow, ow, my leg"

"It's alright I got you" I swiftly responded.

She stopped whimpering for a second when I said that and slowly looked up at me, this time with her eyes fully open in astonishment. She opened her mouth to say something before closing it abruptly. Her eyes went back to half-lidded and she wrapped her forelegs around my neck,pulling her up to me before giving a long, tender kiss. My eyes went wide, but I slowly closed them to savoir the moment that felt like heavens kiss.

Her tongue started to fight against mine for access to my mouth, I allowed her tongue to push past as it started to explore the caverns of my mouth, brushing my teeth (favoring the canines) and licking my gums. Eventually, the need for air was to much a problem and we broke the kiss gasping,  a goofy smile plastered on my face.

" So that's how it's gonna be huh" I said with my arms wrapped around her sleek,curvy body.

Still looking at me Maud said the words that will stick in my mind forever.

"I love you Chris"

I was taken back a bit. Did she really just say that? No, this has to be a dream, it can't be real.

"Wow", I said looking down at her with a coy look on my face. Quickly, I lifted her up into the air before pulling her back in for a long warm hug, tears pooling in my eyes.

"I love you to Maud"

After a long hug, I said,

"Do you want me to make breakfast for the both of us? What do you feel like?" I asked, carefully putting her down as to not hurt her anymore.

"I could go with some scrambled eggs" Maud replied.

"Alright then, you stay right there in that bed, don't want to injure yourself anymore now ok?" I said with a cheeky grin on my face and a teasing waggle of my finger.

Maud just simply smiled in return, that beautiful face of hers gleaming in the morning light. A small strand of her smooth matte purple mane hovering over her face, she noticed it and brushed it away. Realizing that I had been standing there like a goof watching her made both of us chuckle a bit.

Finally, I made my way out the door and into the hallway and down the stairs into the kitchen to make breakfast. Cracking an egg over the pan I started to ponder over what the heck just happened. 'She actually came out of the box and confessed her feelings about me' I thought to myself as the eggs crackled in the frying pan.

When they were done I separated them into even servings on two plates which took forever to find and carried them up the stairs. When I reached the doorway however I noticed that it was ajar slightly.

"Odd" I muttered to myself.

"Maud, your eggs are heerrrrrrugggghhhh, where are you?" I staggered out.

Putting the plates on the nightstand I started to search the room but found no sight of Maud. Starting to get worried I opened the door and looked down the hallway, to the left at the end of the hallway was Mauds room. After checking that, I tried calling out for her.

"Maud!"

"Maud!"

"Maud! You there!"

No response.

As I turned around however I was suddenly tackled by an unknown figure.

"AH! Who the fuck are you!" I screamed, only to find Mauds smiling face inches from mine.

"Hi darling", she spoke in a sexy tone.

After staring at each other for a moment we both burst out laughing, in fact, Maud laughed so hard that she fell on top of me.

"Maud, calm down", I said through suppressed chuckles. Maud just looked up at me with an adorable little smile on her face before giving me a little peck on the cheek.

"Now where's my breakfast"
