Letting off Steam

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Whilst eating breakfast I started to wonder about things lately and what's been going on and couldn't shake this thing out of the back of my head. Pondering over it a bit I realized the problem that made me sick to my stomach.

I had kissed a horse.

The thought made me gag and spit my scrambled eggs out onto the table.

"You alright Chris?" Maud asked,confused.

"Y-yeah, I fine" I responded, at the brink of vomiting.

This can't be happening, it just can't be. I kissed a fucking horse! B-but it was the heat of the moment and when someone kisses you so passionately like that, you succumb to the feelings that envelope you, besides, Maud doesn't look like a horse. She's much more cute and much more smaller, the face is a lot different to. She doesn't have a long nose, more a short snout.

I eyed her carefully as she scraped some of the eggs off of the plate and put them in her mouth, still confused as to how she can use appliances with her hoofs, more dexterity than I thought.

"Chris, why are you staring at me funny? Is there something wrong?" Maud asked, voice starting to sound a bit shaky like she was worried about something.

"Don't worry about me Maud I'm just alright" I responded quite harshly.

"Your not your usual self since I found you"

That made me think about where I was and what I could do here. The sudden rush of emotions and realizations about what the fuck was happening was too much.

Where was I?

Where the living fuck was I?

How am I going to get out of here?

But most of all, what am I going to do to the pony sitting opposite me across the table who, clearly (considering last night), has feeling for me and...and.....

Loves me?

This was all too much, I had to take a breather outside to clear my thoughts.

"Chris, Chris wait where are you going?" Maud asked, surprised.

"I-I'm going outside for a bit, you just wait there, I'll be back in a minute." I nearly yelled back.

Opening the front door, I stepped out into what could only be described as a rocky desert, and sat down with my head in my hands.

"What in the living hell is happening?" I said out loud.

"I'm never gonna find my way home, I'm gonna be stuck here in this FUCKING desert of a place with some weird pony that can talk somehow!"

I yelled to the dismal sky.

"Chris"

"I'm never gonna leave this..this desert!"

"Chris!"

"I'm fucked, totally and utterly fucked!"

My shouting was interupted by a sound coming from behind me, turning around, I saw Maud standing at the front door, crying.

"Maud?"

She stopped crying for a second before looking up at me with a saddened expression and her ears flayed down against her head.

"I-I can't b-believe you said those t-things" She said through sniffles.

She took one breath, and held it. Before charging me full force to the ground.

"OW, what the fuck Maummmmmm"

She put a hoof over my mouth before leaning down to my ear.

"I don't want to hear you say those things ever again! You hear me?" she said with such ferocity for a small creature.

Baffled, I nodded my head in approval. Those words started to calm me down, I could live being stuck in the middle of nowhere with an adorable little grey pony to keep company, even if she was a talking horse.

Smiling, I grabbed her around the abdomen and pulled her to the ground with me in a long, affectionate hug.

"It's alright Maud"I said with what little dignity I had left. "I'm alright now, just had to let out some steam"

"And let it out you did" she said, her face buried in my chest.

"Lets go back inside, I need me some scrambled eggs" I said.

"Actually, I need to talk to you, do you mind?" she asked, nonchalantly

"Uh, yeah sure, when?"

"Maybe tonight"

"Alright" I responded.

Wondering if it would calm her down from her little outburst I lightly scratched behind her ears while my other hand brushed up and down her body, going up to the neck and back down to the hips. She let out a surpressed moan with her mouth closed and her eyes started to close. Her legs started to tremble as she shakily said,

"P-please, stop"

Pulling my hands away, she lifted herself up off my chest and started to slowly wobble back towards the house. Confused, I lifted myself up to my feet and noticed a small puddle on the ground between my legs.

'Couldn't be water, could it? Not here' I thought, kneeling down I touched my fingers to the puddle, surprisingly it was warm. Bringing my hand up I also noticed it was sticky, like slime.

Connecting the dots in my head made the answer quite obvious, that scratching turned her on.

"Well well" I uttered to myself with smirk on my face.

"That's how it's gonna be huh" I said quietly as I shouldered the front door open.
