Looking up to the night sky that brought me here I could see it like never before. I could see countless stars clearly sparkling and the moon in all its glory as it held it’s throne in the sky with all its beauty, with all that has happened I felt safe knowing there wasn't an orbiting SLAMS satellite waiting to strike down its blue light at me. I at least had that for comfort.

Yet as I laid on the train I couldn't help but feel a tang of guilt for snapping at the Princesses like that, true I had some right but if my dad, or worse my grandfather ever caught wind of what I'd done. Being court marshaled would seem like a cakewalk compared to what they would of done to me. Oh I could see it now.

“Had enough yet Alex?” he would say as he sat in his chair and drank a cool glass of lemonade as I hauled bricks, wood, and anything he could think of.

“N-No sir” I would say in hopes of ending the physical pain sooner.

“Good now I need you to repave my driveway it looks pretty worn out.”

“Y-Yes sir”

I would do it, then he would check and if he found any flaws he would order me to do it again. Hell I remember when I talked back to my mom in front of him when I was twelve he simply stood up grabbed me by the ear and dragged me  to his truck. Then he would get a vest he had weighed to at least 100 pounds. He would then order me to do push-ups till he said stop. Hell by the time I would be done he would take the vest and scold me for talking back.

“Now listen up Alex, and I mean listen up good son. If I ever hear you talk back to your mama or papa I will make you regret ever being born is that understood?’

“Y-Yes sir”

“Good now go inside and apologize to your mother, she works hard for you and she deserves your damned respect.”

I remember those days... I-I was never hit or spanked I was just worked to the bone for him, hitting just makes the situation worse if you want a lesson to stick you get it worked in to em, so they will remember fully.

“I guess I should go apologize to the Princesses” I said under my breath as I got up from my position on the train. Now walking on a moving train isn't as easy as you think the constant rocking always had me adjusting my balance. That and It didn't help that I was at least ten cars away from the one the Princesses were in.

The trip from the second passenger car the the last was a bit fun... and when I say fun I mean a pain in my ass. I had to dive once in order to avoid being Alex Nicks pancake on the wall. Nonetheless I made it to the last car. Once I was on said car I activated one of my sensor grenades. What I saw did add a new field of depth to the Princesses.

(Celestia’s POV)

It has been nearly Six hours since we departed from Canterlot station and I have yet to calm Luna down. Only one other time has she been called such a word that she has cried like this and that had only been over a millenia ago by a long since dead suitor that even she did not want but, back then we had been bombarded by them constant fathers entering the old castle hoping to have their sons court us.

It was only one colt that had let his temper get the better of him and called Luna my dear sister a whore. After that she had locked herself in her tower only coming out to lower and raise the moon. But this time feels different... she just weeps and weeps unrelentingly.  I know I should say something but I think it’s better that I leave her to her thoughts.

(Luna's POV)

    Am really a whore to the eyes of my subjects? Never once have I been courted or taken any pony to my chambers. Have I done something that has labeled me a whore? What have I done to deserve such a title in the eyes of my subjects. Even Sir Alex thinks I'm a whore or a slut as he says. “Am I really a-a whore?”

“You're not a whore... if anything I'm a fucking idiot”

“Who-who g-goes there?” I said as I charged my horn. Yet Just as I lowered my horn I saw a blue light come down from a certain height.

“Easy there Luna I just wan-”

“You just wanted to what insult me again is that it? I-I done nothing wrong and y-yet you insult me with words that cut deeper than the sharpest blade in all of known Equestria.” I stopped to clear away tears that began to form at my eyes. “I never wanted you to hate me” I began "I-I just wanted for you to...” I fell to the floor again in a fit of tears.

(Alex’s POV)

In all honesty I felt like a complete dick no, not even dick could describe how I felt at the sight I now see before me. Luna is crying like someone had just took a knife and drove it into her dream and that someone was me.

"Come on Alex! move your ass! now you made a lady cry, now fucking fix it!" I mentally scolded myself.

"Luna I-I'm sorry for acting like I did, I had no reason to nor any heart to wish you harm" I said as I sat down next to Luna. At first she flinched to me being next to her but then she moved her head over to my lap hesitantly, I then continued "and, seeing the beautiful wom-er mare (I really need to get the hang of saying mare not woman) that brings up the moon and, paints the night sky with tiny stars of which many pony come to gaze up to. I-I now only seek your forgiveness."

When I stopped my apology a heavy silence took control of the train car with only the faint sound of mental wheels rolling along mental guide rails.

Hoping for a quick response from the mare because the silence was killing me (the irony) I began to slowly bring my hand from the top of her head down to the base of her neck. She recoiled at first causing me to stop but she then spoke.

"W-What was that that you have done just then?" she asked looking at me.

"I-I-I was just petting you to give you comfort is all? Why did I do something bad?" I replied hoping that my action here didn't mean I just raped a pony.

"No No I just never felt such a calming gesture in my entire life." her face then lit purple? "Would you mind doing that again please?" she asked as she lowered her head to my lap once again.

I was speechless but it beats being in a possible prison again but, before I resumed my previous action an idea came to mind. "On one condition if I am forgiven for my earlier behavior."

Luna stayed quiet for a time before she spoke up "I can forgive you but, I have a condition of my own as well Alex" Luna replied as I began to pet her again.

"And what might that condition imply Princess Luna?" I shot back.

"I shall tell thee when the time is right" Luna said as she sighed to my petting.

"Deal Princess" I really hope I didn't just sign up to be a fuck boy... that's the last thing I need on my resume.

I stayed in the train car with Luna for a while and I learned something, ponies fucking love being petted. Hell at one point she actually passed out due to me just stroking her mane like I would a household pet but, she's not a pet or an animal? ahh these ponies are destroying everything I knew, to be truthful.

Back on earth horses well ponies I guess dont speak; all they do is eat, shit, and sleep but here in this world they speak, write and hold a civilization of their own. I mean thats intelligent life right? or am I gonna- nope nope get that thought out of your head Alex! they are of a different race. This is looked down upon in the JSF so keep a clear mind you are just here being buddy buddy to the Princess due to protocol.

Establish a F.O.B and try to establish a means of communication to the brass. No doubt they would like to know where their million dollar investment went. Truth be told I miss being under constant fire. I miss the cloak and dagger of being a ghost.

"God, if I did something to anger you please for the love of it could you tell me what in the (cant cuss now huh?) name of your son, what am I to do?" and just as I finished my sentence I regretted it like no other a shocked looking Celestia appeared from the now open door.

I looked at her then to sleeping Luna in my lap then back to Celestia that was now furious.

"Fuck me..." and with that Celestia closed the door softly probably not to alert the guards because after the door closed. Five fucking golden daggers appeared from nowhere and began to circle my neck like vultures circling for the kill. "Its not what you think" I said in defence.

Celestia face tightened with anger "I may have failed to save my sister once from her self but, I will not fail in defending her from yo-" Celestia stopped as Luna began to wake from her sleep then raised her head from my lap.

"Ah, sister” Luna said as she removed her head from my lap .“what brings you back to my car; is it time for me to lower the moon?" Luna said with a yawn then looked to me with a slight blush. "Oh I'm sorry for sleeping on you Alex but, you're petting caused me to relax a great deal; allowing me to wonder off to sleep. I do hope you can forgive me for such an embarrassment.” Luna then looked at Celestia “Uhm sister why are your solar daggers around his neck?"

Celestia spoke up quickly "I thought he had done something dreadful to you sister and I could not bare the thought of losing you again so I was prepared to-"

Luna stopped Celestia with her hoof to her mouth, I didn't even notice her get up for the position next to me though I suppose as someone- I mean some pony as her with a body as light as a feather yet with movement so graceful. It wouldn't be to difficult to move about unnoticed. "dear sister you have no idea how happy that makes me. I always knew you cared for me but, I guess I just needed a reminder." Luna then wrapped Celestia in a wing hug?

I highly doubt I'm gonna ever gonna be used to these ponies but something did have to change about the current situation.

"Uhm' not to ruin a good mood or anything but could you I don't know put your glowing blades away please!"

Celestia broke her sister's hug "Oh why certainly and I do wish we start proper then-"

I cut Celestia off  "Think nothing of it Princess its all water under the bridge and by that I mean don't bring it up."
