Celestia nudged Chris who laid still in her bed. His eyes were open, but it looked like he was frozen in time. He refused to acknowledge her or even Cadence. The Princess of Love felt almost nothing from him except the heavy beats of his heart. Celestia had no idea what to do, she had never experienced this sort of thing, and even when he had cried in the tub that night, he still recovered. It was like a part of him was gone, the part of him that animated his body, the part that gave him emotions.

He's been like this for a few hours now. Twilight was supposed to be on her way, and with Cadence and Luna already at the castle, all they had left to do while they waited was to get Chris out of bed, heck, even respond to their calls. The two of them were left in the room alone, this was Celestia's idea as Chris recovered faster when it was just them two alone. However this idea didn't hold very long, seeing how he hasn't even blinked in the past half-hour. It was worrying to say the least.

Taking a bit of time, Celestia checked on the status of the train by sending Twilight a letter. It would still be another hour before she arrived. Turning her attention back to Chris, she found herself looking at him sitting on the edge with a blank stare going no where.

"Chris!" Celestia cheered in delight and jumped over to him. Wrapping her hooves around him, she soon found herself feeling very cold. "Chris?" She looked at his face, his eyes still blank and black, and still he did not respond. "Chris, please, say something. You're worrying me."

"Something." He said in a monotonous voice. "I am coming back."

"Where were you?" Celestia asked. "It was like you were in another world."

He grunted, finally blinking. "In a way, I was." Chris looked around. "I must have blacked out, huh?"

"For over two hours, you were just still as a statue." She said. She was still very concerned. "How are you feeling, okay?"

He shrugged. "Better than before I believe. Those voices are annoying though." He faked a smile at Celestia and cracked his neck. "Why do you think my ability is getting more powerful."

Celestia looked at Chris with a confused gaze before realizing what he was talking about. "Your ability to see and hear the dead?" Chris nodded. "Well, for a unicorn, magic use is important as they constantly absorb mana from their surroundings. Unicorn foals have this problem most often than adults. Without the use, the mana will pile up before they become too great and overflow like a broken dam."

Chris pressed his lips tightly together and looked very thoughtful. "I get it. Thanks. I guess I gotta do more Spirit stuff." He raised his hand to his chest and rubbed it. "Man, my chest feels kinda heavy. Like someone sat on it."

Celestia leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. "Chris?"

"Yeah?" He looked at her with a questioning look.

Pressing her own lips together, Celestia took a deep breath in, then out. "We had a doctor check on you. That feeling in your chest is actually your heart failing you. He believes that the cause is due to extreme stresses. Due to the fact we have no human hearts without doing necromancy...we must turn you into a pony, and do surgery."

Chris looked saddened for a minute, and only that before he leaned in and kissed Celestia on her stomach. "You hear that kiddo? Your daddy's going to be just like you!"

Absolutely confused Celestia felt like she needed to ask him. "Why?"

"Well, I'll still think myself a human, plus, I'll have thousands of stories to tell her."

"You can still do that now, Chris, I don't see the point. Why aren't you upset?"

"Should I be?" He asked with a straight face. "Why would I be upset at the fact that I'll be able to be closer to you, and our foal?"

Unsure what to reply with, she sighed. "I just....I thought..."

"You thought that I'd be upset I don't get a choice to save my life, hm?" She felt herself nod at his question. "Ah, well, survival is what I fight for. If I can survive by chaining my shape or form, then I will. I survived my father's abuse by changing my loyalties, if I must change, change I shall."

"I don't understand you sometimes, Chris, it's like your whole mind is that of Discord's own mind."

"Perhaps it is Tia. The mad are smarter than the sane because they'll keep trying until they get it right, while the sane will move away from difficult tasks that involve greater changes to themselves. Stagnation is poisonous to evolution." His words slapped Celestia in the face, causing her to rear her head back in surprise. She looked at him with wide eyes, unsure how to respond. "So I guess you're gathering the others hm?"

Shaking her head to come back to the real world, Celestia gave him a nod. "Indeed, they're all informed, and ready to transmutate your body."

"Should I get ready for something? Like pre-op stuff?"

"Some food perhaps, but you may eat after if you'd like if you're too nervous to eat now." Chris nodded. "Are you scared something will happen to you?"

"Are you?"

Her head fell and she gave a light nod. "I...I am, never before has this happened, nor did I ever let it happen. Cases haven't been as serious as yours. You could have weeks, months, or maybe a couple years before your heart gives out...most...Most never got this far."

Chris picked her head up with a hand and he gave her head a light brush with his other hand. "I promise Celestia, I'll find you if something happens to me, even if I go to hell for screwing a beautiful creature such as yourself. Hell will fear me, demons will piss themselves, angels will cry out in fear-" As he spoke, he grew more serious, the weight of his words felt powerful. "-and Death will not lay a finger on my soul. I finally get peace from pain and suffering. I have already served my sentence for my sins, if I am punished for what I do from now to forever, I will be sorely pissed off."

She had no idea how to respond to his words. the power and emotion behind his words were too great, too strong to even reply. Instead, she gave a weak whimper out of fear of losing Chris. He had no power in Tartarus, heroes were zeros, and demons had near unlimited power. Should the spell fail, he would die, and would never return to see her or their foal.

Chris sat in a large circle drawn from chalk infused with star dust, a bit of love to give life, and a bit of Chris' own blood to bind the spell to him. Many runes and symbols were drawn, and too few of them he could recognize. They were in a room, deep in the bowels of the castle, far from prying eyes. His heart felt heavier now than it did before.

All four alicorns were off talking to one another, while Chris sat alone, pondering to himself about what was going to happen. He was going to become a pony. He wondered what he would end up being, deep down he wished he would be an alicorn just like Celestia was, but that was far-cry of a chance of happening. Then he thought about being a pegasus. As a pegasus, he could fly, a long dream of his and the rest of humanity (except for the acrophobes), and he could fly with Celestia as much as he wanted to. He learned that pegasi could walk on clouds, then wondered if he could be a part of the mile-high club. Laughing to himself, he shook his head, there was no time for perverted thoughts. Being a unicorn would be fun as well, but he had to think about his current abilities. If he became a unicorn, he would have more to worry about, like finding a magical release as well as a spiritual release.

Chris was sitting Native American style, thinking to himself while Celestia and the other Princesses were speaking.

"So he's finally managed to come to."

"His phycolocks are weakening as less stress is introduced to him." Luna said. "Although much of his mind is still locked, the lack of stress, and this new heart will help heal him fully."

Cadence nodded at Luna's wise words. "For the sake of Love, I'm doing this. Christopher has dealt with much, and has shown a different side of himself nearly everyday since he's been here. What kind of pony should we make him?"

Twilight tapped her chin with a hoof. "Well, I do believe turning him into an Alicorn would be out of the question. Even though he would be the first since a long while."

Celestia and Luna shook their heads. "While an alicorn is out of the question, we must think how this is going to turn out for him. Remember, a great deed, a great show of will and power will prove to the wills he is ready for ascension, I do believe a pegasus would be a great idea." Celestia said, then she had a small bit of excitement showing. "Oooohhhhh~! Yes! That's perfect! He'll be a pegasus, that way, he has control over his powers."

"What if being a pegasus hurts him more?" Twilight asked with a worried glace to Chris, then she turned her attention back to Luna who was also frowning at the human. "Why not an Earth Pony? He'll be more connected to nature, as per his religion?"

Celestia and Luna looked suddenly shocked at Twilight with wide jaws. "He has a belief? H-how did we not know of this?" Luna shook her head slowly, slightly ashamed that hadn't come to mind. "How?"

"It could be the part of him he never shows." Celestia sighed. "What if his religion? What exactly are his beliefs?"

"Well, let it be known he practically worships anything that has grand celestial powers, so guess who's on the list?" They pointed to themselves, and Twilight sighed. "I talk to him you know, we wright in another language he's made up. It was his form of coping with the stress. With the ability to ramble on in another language, he was able to not get in trouble, but he was close to summoning a demon before I had to stop him."

"That does explain his journals he wrights almost nightly." Celestia tapped her chin and huffed. "Why does he only share bits to each of us? For that matter, how come you two don't tell me this until the time is called for?!" She hissed at them in a hushed whisper. "He may not be in this position if we acted in unison together!? Dammit Luna! You were the element of loyalty once!"

Luna's ears dropped back and her wings shifted as she looked to be retreating. "S-sister, I'm sorry, but he doesn't like everything known about him to the same person. His strange way of thinking."

Again Celestia felt the urge to huff in annoyance. She brought her hoof to her snout and gave out a tired sigh. "Do go on, Twilight."

"On his world he was known as a Pagan but he also was taught the Witch's Way. He grew up believing in godly bodies that took forms of animals, and a number of other creatures that we have common here. He believes that they exist, but on his world they vanished due to the excess numbers of War and the bloodier became." Twilight took a deep breath in and continued. "Anyways, Chris' ability to see the dead, also let him see those spirits that weren't able to leave before their 'Veil' closed until their world is in peace. Scary thing is, he was almost close to ruling the world with a help of a few friends he knew. Some great organization was cutting a deal with him."

"I thought he was stealing from their government?" Celestia asked.

Luna stepped up. "I've actually seen some of his dreams where he cannot see me. He has visions of the future and past, but only very small pieces, mere a fraction of a second, and if he is lucky, he'll get a full two seconds. I saw cold metal chrome metal and sad blue eyes of night. He felt no emotion whatsoever, he didn't need to eat, sleep, he never go tired...He just kept going, moving from world to world, making peace everywhere he went."

Twilight nodded. "He is losing his connection to 'earth' as it were. His powers were grounded and had places to go, but now he is like a kite and the wind is blowing faster."

"With wings, he will take off. Lose his mind. That would not make him a very good father, being drugged up and bland as the day." Celestia shot her a glace. "What? I cannot say that my night sky is bland. One might say he loves my, ah-hem, moon."

Twilight giggled and Luna looked down at her hooves, trying to hide her wide grin. "Luna..." Celestia said through her teeth. "So he worships us..., so why does he not show it?"

"Why do you think? He treats everypony the same, not one pony will get the same bit of love as the next, except for a select few. And when I say few, only four are on his list: his mom, and the three of us he's spoken to. We are a part of his 'pride', or so he says. He likes to think he's a lion sometimes, but he can actually understand cats very well."

"Oh? Does he speak cat?"

"Oh, he's helped keep a cat alive for almost five years past when the cat was supposed to die. It was two when he got it, and the rest was history. Anyways, we'er making him an Earth Pony to help reestablish his connection so his power can fade enough so it doesn't surge. Later, we'll help him earn his wings and horn." Twilight smiled. "So he doesn't tell us everything, but at least he tells us how to help him."

"He wants ponies working together, I think I get it now." Luna smiled. "I'll explain later, I promise. Come, we have a pony to make."

They were finished. I watched intently as they began walking to the four different corners of the circle drawn out before us. Celestia stopped in front of me, a sad smile on her lips. I nodded to her, she nodded back, unspoken words parted from our minds and to one another. She was worried for me, I knew this very well, but the thought of my child growing up without a father, hurt me more. I had to survive this, more than ever.

Luna was to my left, Cadence behind me, and Twilight was to my right. Slowly, they ignited their horns, and the circle began to glow. I heard the whispers getting louder, but the sounds of chanting from the four princesses were beginning to get louder than those damn voices. I felt a touch of energy touch the back of my neck, and go down to my legs then back up again. Everything was getting so bright now, I had to close my eyes and cover my face.

Suddenly, I felt a warm feeling grow over my body, touching my head, sinking deep into my mind. My head grew heavy, my mind grew numb. Then I felt the same warm feeling in my chest. My heart slowed but grew more powerful. Was this it? Was I changing? My legs came next, I felt them twisting and turning, warm and peaceful. I felt no pain, no agony. I felt peaceful even, relaxed.

Then came this final energy, this energy hurt. There was a fire burning deep inside my body, traveling up my body one last time. When it touched my head, I felt it everywhere, and the pain grew even more intense. I screamed, feeling more pain in my body than ever before. My eyes rocketed open as my vocalcords were getting a damn workout. Somethings even felt wrong, like my hole body was being shattered. I felt myself fading away slowly.

Then it all stopped, I fell to the ground with everything sounding like a dog whistle. Vision fuzzy and fading, I held out an arm, where I still saw my own hand, or I think it was. I all I knew before passing out, is that I saw a copper colored fur covering five fingers, and Celestia screaming with tears rolling down her face like two small waterfalls. With a last push of will before sleep over took me, I smiled at her, hoping that she would be alright.

In a loud thundering crash, the doors to the throne room exploded violently as a nuclear explosion. In came a silver creature dressed in leather armor. It slid across the room with it's pink mane waving behind it. Everypony in the room watched as the creature pulled a small needle and injected it into Chris' chest.

"Oh Wills above, I hope I got here in time." She said, gasping between breaths. Celestia noticed how she had hands and a set of hooves she came in running on. She was completely covered in silver fur, had a pink mane, but no tail. What she noticed more about her, was a similar set of blue eyes that Chris had.

"Who are you!" Luna shouted, ready to charge at the mare.

She stood up and wiped off her legs with her hands. Her face was almost like a mare's but only had a slightly less elongated snout. Her breasts were firm and round, and was barely covered up by a small shirt, they moved at the rate she heaved in more eyes. A set of wings were adorning her back which also looked more relaxed, most likely to help regain her energy.

"My...ah-hem...My name is, Terrestia Jessie Robins, and..*deep inhale, then exhale*, I'm....I'm your daughter. And I just saved Dad."

"What?"

"His heart stopped. I just saved your heart Mia."

"How'd you come back so far? How old are you?"

"Two hundred, and...don't you think? Save dad, get to actually know him."

Twilight looked suddenly confused. "Wait, how come you aren't gone?"

With a final huff of air, and regaining her composure. "It's not gone, or so Mia said."

"Mia?" Celestia asked.

"You, you're Mia." She deadpanned. "My timeline is now the farthest thing away anything could ever hope to be. So there's no way to go back home. So I guess I'm stuck here huh?"

That second, Celestia had lost hopes of the ability to stand and had fallen over into a deep sleep. Luna sighed while Cadence and Twilight continued to stare at the mare. "What?"

"You came from a world where Chris died?"

She nodded. "Yep, but I couldn't let the Observers down. I had a mission to save Equestria, and I did it."

"What?" They had asked at the same time before they too fell.

"How is it that I am not the only one who's shocked!?" Luna huffed.

Terrestia sighed. "Don' know Lua, but when Robin Knight gets older, you better watch out, he's a stinker." She waved her nose and giggled.

Luna proceeded to fall onto the ground. "There we go! Oh! I wonder if Uncle Discord is around." She reversed stepped right out. "Woo!"

Also, a big discussion was made over this with a friend of mine who I met back in California. He thought alot about this, and came up with not only the chapter name, but the circle and chanting that was seen within this chapter. I hoped this is what you guys hoped for, because I was so afraid of getting like a hundred new dislikes...

Also-also, Terrestia and Robin Knight?
