Four years after the convergence of Earth and Equus, war has ravaged both worlds. Everyone, humans and pony alike, wants the war to end as soon as possible, but both sides have vastly different goals in mind.

Author's Note: It is recommended (but not required) that you read the "Shattered Dimensions" Trilogy before beginning this story.



Part One of the Broken Worlds saga

"It's here on ashes that we stand…"

Four years after the Second Convergence, Earth and Equus are locked in a war that could change the fate of all living creatures of both worlds. On one side, there is the Equestrian Empire, which hopes to drive the inhabitants of Earth out of their world and seal the portals that bridge them with these violent strangers. On the other is the BlackTech Initiative, whose true intentions lie shrouded in secrets and lies, but claims to be fighting for a new world for mankind to call "home".

In the middle of all this, however, there are some neutral figures: a resistance that seeks to get the two sides to come together peacefully, for the inhabitants of both worlds have much to learn from and teach each other.
