Equestria: The Dragon Child

     We were just walking, towards the train station at a fast pace, if you could call it walking... it's more like a jog.  Anyway, I just happen to look towards Sweet Apple Acres and saw pink clouds raining chocolate, wierd mutant animals, and the apple trees being messed up.

     "Rainbow, can you please explain to me, why the hell are there thoses things in Applejack's farm?!" I screamed pointing towards the apple orchard.

     "Ah'm right here ya know..." Applejack said scratching her left ear.

     "Um... that's also kinda the reason we were looking for you to get you to hurry."

     "You know what?  I'm saving it for whatever the capitol's called." I mumbled rubbing the bridge of my nose.

     When we actually reached the train it was almost leaving so I jumped on and lifted the others, with the exception of Rainbow Dash since she flew, onto the train.  Twilight handed me my ticket and we stayed in one car for a very boring hour or two.

     We reached the ending point and rushed to the castle.  Me lagging behind, because other than ruins or fake sets, I've never seen an actual castle.  This caused me to lose the others for quite a bit.  Honestly, my self-tour of the castle would have been a whole lot better if A) It wasn't my most loathed day B) the near future didn't happen at all and C) If I disn't meet this one douchebag.

     "What is that horrid thing?!" I think my eye twitched.

     "How many freaking times do I have to tell people I am a person not a thing!" I whipped around to find a pompous looking white pony with a 'perfect' hair cut.

     "Oh you have got to be kidding me..." I sighed.  I hate these type of people- er... ponies.

     "Guards get this thing out of the halls!" The guy yelled for the armored unicorns.

     "Listen I'm kinda' on a time crunch so I'm going to need you to lead me to the Princess, she needs to meet with me.  And if you don't want to I'll find my own way."  The only answer I got was a suprised silence.

     With that I turned around and walked to the door, that is until he made a low blow..., "So this monkey thing can talk.  Well, it's most likely not smart enough to know how to open a door." I immeadiately turned around and slugged him.  Continuing to turn a full 360 I pulled the door open and walked out calling back, "Say something like that again and, you'll hope that it's only your face that I wail on!"

     The next thing he said was something about his aunt or something, honestly I was done with him.  After a few minutes of walking I actually manage to stumble into the right room.

     "Hey guys, I got lost, and mabye clocked someone." I waved and muttered the last part under my breath.  I looked over their faces to notice relief, concern, and curiosity.  With the exception of a stoic(?) face that I guessed was the princess's.  She was tall, had both horns and wings making her an Alicorn, white coat, golden regalia, flowing mane with a pastel version of the rainbow, and a picture of the sun for a cutie mark.

     "Looks like I arrived just in time, and not to be rude or anything," waving my hands as to not make offense, "but can someone tell what the fuck is going on outside?!  I swear I saw Pinkie drinking from the clouds!"

     "I did drink choclate milf from the cotton candy clouds!" Pinkie said enthusiastically waving both hooves in the air.

     The Princess coughed to get my attention, "Oh!  Yeah, sorry.  My names Drake Johnson.  Nicknamed The Dragon Child for my powers." I did a swift bow.

     "It's nice to meet you Drake.  But formalities later we have a very serious problem on our hooves." She started walking again.

     "Care to fill me in?" I ask.

     "Discord, a chaotic being who has ruled in tyranny until my sister and I sealed him in stone, has broken free and is now threatening Equestria."  She said walking up to an ornate door.

     "Okay, a quick recap.  Discord, a reality bending person/pony, has escaped threatening the world with globally cringe-worthy and terrifying chaos.  Well... isn't as bad as having a homicidal freak in your head." I shrug.

     The Princess looks at me wierdly before unloking the door and taking an empty chest out... the most anti-climatic chest openning ever.

     "The Elements, they're gone!" Twilight gasped.  This reaction made me realize something was very wrong.  I looked around erratically, looking for the culprit until I spot a cartoonish looming picture inside the windows move.

     "He's in the windows." I say in a calm voice, underneath I was anything, but calm.  I was pissed more than anything.

     "Oh look somebody found me!  And what a strange creature you are. You just being here makes the air crawl with chaos." He said somehow rubbing his claw and paw together.  Why does he look like a jig-saw for biology?

     "Discord!  What did you do with the Elements of Harmony?" The Princess asked.

     "Oh Celestia, didn't you miss me?  Or at least feel bad, you know because your not supposed to turn ponies to stone."

     "Don't worry I got him!"

     "Rainbow wait! That's-" she ran head first into the window as the picture of Discord disappeared, "glass... Oh boy."

     "Oh It's Rainbow Dash, self proclaimed fastest flyer in Equestria, and so loyal as her element represents." He scowled.

     "So, what's it to you!" She said as she got back up.

     "Alright, so ya' know us.  What does that have ta' do with the Elements?" Applejack interjected.

     "Applejack, so honest and to the point.  It has to do with all of you!"

     "Twilight has the most powerful of all, the Element of Magic.  Fluttershy with her Kindness.  And Pinkie for the Element of Laughter."

     *snicker* "Pinkie!" Twilight yelled.

     "He-he's dancing on your head!" She said bursting into laughter afterwards.

     "Forgetting about someone?  I may not have an Element of Harmony, but I sure do have the elements of the world on my side."  Electricity danced across my left hand.

     "Alright, a challenge!  Let's see... Got it!  Drake Johnson the one person bearing four elements of air, water, fire, and earth in their most destructive forms.  Also can fly with magic wings."

     "Okay, this guy's good." I said nodding in respect.

     "Okay, any way back on track give us the elements or I'm forced to use my powers." I call out.

     "Oh, so boring, Drake. Really? Fine, I'll tell you, but I'll only tell you my way. To retrieve your missing Elements, just make sense of this change of events. Twists and turns are my master plan. Then find the Elements back where you began." Discord laughed maniacally, which really strains my eardrums cause things echo in the hallway.  He disappeared afterwards.

     "Any idea on what he said?" Rainbow asks.

     "Twists and turns... Twists and turns... Got it they're in the hedge maze!" Twilight exclaimed.

     "Dear God No!  I'm horrible at mazes I'll be lost within the first turn." I slap my forehead in frustration.

     "Well... this maze is a lot bigger than when I imagined it." I said with a look of astonishment.  I mean seriously, it's freaking huge!

     "I don't know about you, but I'm flying over it!" Rainbow called out flying about two or three feet before face planting as her wings dissappeared.

     "What the hay?! My wings!" She screamed looking at where they used to be.

     "Eep!" Fluttershy quickly looked behind her only to scream at her empty sides.

     "My horn, your horn!" Both Twilight and Rarity yelled.

     I didn't feel anything go out of existence, but I sure felt disorientated.  My eyes crossed for a few seconds as I tried to find my bearings.

     "What the hell just happened?" I ask still very confused.

     "Ah-ah-ah!  You aren't going to cheat with flying or magic!  You'll be playing by my rules."  Discord's disembodied voice called.

     "Okay, but what does that have to do with me?  I don't have magic."

     "On the contrary, those elements you spoke of manipulating?  Well that's your magic.  And you can summon wings so I made sure you wouldn't be able to." He chuckled at the end.

     I tried to summon my wings to prove him wrong only for them to sputter out of existence as soon as they appeared.

     "What the... okay nice joke, but that won't put us down!" I yell out.

     "Never fear girls." "and boy..." "We have each other!" Twilight exclaimed.

     "Yeah! Like Twilight said, there's nothing we can't overcome if we all stick together!" Dash yelled in agreement.

     "I'd like to argue with that..." I said, but got ignored.

     "All right, girls, let's do this!" Twilight yelled.

     "Together!" they then ran off towards the entrance to the hedge maze.

     "And I have completed my life long dream of becoming a background character... figures." I sigh and run after them only to get separated.

     "What?!" I exclaim looking at the bush that appeared.

     "Stay calm, girls! Everypony head to the middle as fast as you can, and we'll regroup there!" she yelled trying to calm us down.

     I heard a chorus of agreements and started to walk off and turn left.

     "Where am I?" I ask looking at the set up before me.  It looked oddly familiar.

     "You let us down Drake." I whip my head around hearing the deathly familiar voice.

     "Who's there?  I'm warning you if you don't come out I will figure out how to set the hedges ablaze, and make you come out!" I yell out in a random direction.

     "You could have done something to help." another voice sounded more masculine than the first one.

     "What are you talking about?  Show yourselves!" I look around again only to see the most horrifying sight in my existence.

     "M-mom, Dad?" I fell backwards trying to get away from this seemingly vivid nightmare.

     "You failed us Drake... you let us die." they said together blood starting to form where their hearts are supposed to be.

     "I couldn't get to you in time!  If I had launched an attack from that distance I could have kil- wait..." my eyes open wide as I realized something was missing, and that something shouldn't even be there, "Where's Tim?  He died there too, plus you're dead," I looked up in anger, "you aren't supposed to be here!  DISCORD!!  If you think that's going to make me go dark or abandon the others you're dead wrong.  I still haven't forgiven myself for my family's death, but when a soul is already corrupted you can't make it become corrupt!  So if you're done messing around get the hell out and FIGHT ME!"

     "Fine, if you aren't going to betray them by being convinced I'll make you." He appeared before me and touched my nose.  I immediately noticed the changes, my skin turned grey and I felt... weird.  My wings were summoned without my doing and a really dark blue glow made itself known under my left eye.  I honestly looked like my dark form from what I could see, but I was in control.

     "Okay now I want you to ruin their friendship more than it has already." he said with a devious smile.

     "How about no, and you can pretty much go fuck yourself for all I care."I glared at him while he was in a state of shock.

     "How?  You're supposed to listen to my commands!" He yelled in exasperation.

     "One thing Discord, neither me or Dark are you're puppets.  We aren't going to listen to you no matter how many times you try!" I drew my fist back and slugged him in the muzzle and, before he flew off into the hedges, I elbowed him into the ground making him disappear in a puff of smoke.

     "And that's why you don't send clones to do a Frankenstein's job." I walk off trying to find the center of the maze.
