It was a week after the reveal, Luna understood the efforts Chris put forth for her and Celestia became more aware of the potential threat jealousy could bring. The planning and putting together of the festival for Luna went underway, with Chris being the lead coordinator. He was considered a perfectionist and somewhat cold when directing the ponies and admonishing them for their mistakes but was very appreciative and apologized when the ponies did good.

Luna watched from her watch tower as she sighs and looks at Chris, her eyes fluttering as she looks at the human who loves her. She heard the doors open as Celestia walks in,

"How are you feeling my dear little sister?" She asks with a smile as Luna lets out a happy dreamy sigh.

"I feel so... refreshed... I feel I can do anything with Chris on our side. He is such a thoughtful po- I mean person to do such a thing for me. He cares for my well being and always watches me raise the moon." The night princess turns and walks to the balcony and looks down to the castle grounds to see Chris helping an earth pony carry a table to place on a different area of the grounds.

"Yes I would like the food to go right there, oh and madam I would like those arrangements made into the moon, all the white roses clustered together please? Perfect! Oh that is amazing! I am definitely hiring you for all future events." He says to different ponies as he sees the blacksmith and his iron ponies waiting for him.

"Is it ready?" Chris asks as the blacksmith nods.

"Take me to it." He orders as the ponies escort the human to the forge.

1007 Forge

Chris inspects the armor and sees it is ready for tonights events, he sends out a pony to get Star Swirl for his armor enchantments as he inspects his weaponry. His buster beam rifle measuring about 9 feet in length, weighing at an estimated 80 lbs, with the beam energy Celestia gave to Chris in the chamber, contained and ready to use as he smiles. He also looks at the ornate shield with Lunas symbol, as a devotion of his loyalty to her, he touched the shield and felt the crescent moon at his finger tips as he sighed.

"This is stellar work. Thank you for putting up with my demands, this will benefit you all. I can't thank you enough." He compliments the working ponies as they all bowed and smiled.

"We thank you for helping us hone our skills." The blacksmith says as Star Swirl arrives.

"Ah so I see you finally need my magic. Well lets get this done." He says as he takes the spells and recites them as the armor pieces, shield and rifle glow. As he finishes the whole set darkens and reverts back to normal color.

"Thank you Star Swirl." Chris says as he holds out his hand, Star Swirl figured out the human custom and shakes his hand with his hoof.

"Alright everyone we have a party to create! Star Swirl can I have the fireworks ready by tonight?" He asks as Star Swirl smiles and nods.

"For Her Majestys servant." he bows as he turns and exits.

Chris turns to the blacksmith, "When can the gift be ready?"

The blacksmith looks to the ponies as they quickly rush to their spots and resumes their work, "Expect it within a few hours."

Chris smiles and sets down a decent size bag of gold at the table, "You all earn as much. I'll put in more when you are all finished, then drinks on me tonight ponies!"

The blacksmith and his coworkers cheer in excitement as Chris walks up the stairs to finish his party planning.

Celestia walks through the grounds as the ponies stop and bow to her, greeting her and complimenting her on her appearance. They also ask her about Princess Luna, by orders of Chris as he "politely" reminded them of doing so or else be put through unpleasant experiences.
One pony forgot to do so and when Chris got word from an informant, the pony disappeared.

At the private room

Loud metal music plays as Chris turns off the song after 30 minutes, "Will you forget?!?!"

The pony stutters out a no as Chris releases the pony, "Get out of my sight."

The pony walks like a drunk, stumbling until finally kicked out the door by the royal guard.

At the grounds

"I want the piano here, the percussion xylophones here, a guitar here... no ill help you create one. Of course I know what i'm doing just... fuck! Just do it!" Chris sighs as he rubs his face, these ponies are fucking terrible sometimes.

He feels himself get covered by two dark blue wings as a voice near his ear whispered, "Guess who?"

Chris smiles and pretends to guess, "Could it be the most beautiful, amazing Princess that can also raise the moon?"

Luna giggles, "How did you know good sir?"

Chris turns and caresses Lunas cheek as she nuzzled into his hand, "I know my favorite Princess voice."

The ponies watch, curious as to what was going on as they saw the party coordinator/bodyguard/advisor smiling and making the princess laugh.

He invites her to a small recital of his own work, leading the night princess to the piano that was settled in near the arrangments he takes a seat and tests out the keys. Seeing that it was good he presses a few keys to start, then he starts to play, the music starts out somber and pleasant, then he puts more energy and emotions into the song as his fingers dance over the keys, his hands orchestrating the notes as if he was conducting a symphony.

Luna watches with amazement as did the ponies working on the party, Celestia wasn't too far off as she sat and listened, the music calming and soothing to the ears. He continues to play the song as he enters a low point in the song but then goes into a crescendo then back down again as he repeats a verse to it as Luna puts a hoof to her mouth to hide her growing happiness.

Chris smiles as his head moves along to the melody, he knows what music can do, and he took all of Lunas pain and her years of loneliness into the music as well as the good and happy times of her life. He changes the tone as he asks Celestia to have her create a duplicate spell of himself, she wonders why and explains his duet part. She nods and uses her magic to create another Chris as both look at each other and smiles as they start.

The Chris on the left starts out with a few sad notes, the real Chris responds as the other copy is playing with responsive sad notes. The copy then stops as the real Chris continues to play, the music sparks an emotional response as she starts to tear up. The two men look at each other and nod as the real Chris starts to play a cheerful note, the copy replys with the same note but with a different ending. They play the same after finishing then go into different parts as the real Chris moves his fingers rapidly on his side to create the background melodies as the copy plays the notes with a powerful sound as they work together in sync.

Luna listens as the ponies smile and clap, the song bringing so much memories had Luna singing as tears flowing down her face as both the real and the copy let their emotions guide their fingers. The trio created an atmosphere of love, pain, happiness, and sadness as the ponies felt the emotions in the song.

Chris stops as the copy stops as well, he looks to Celestia and nods as Celestia reverses the spell and the copy was absorbed back into its original.
Luna cries silently as Chris sings the melody to her, Luna looks up and sings with him as the ponies cry silently as well, they never have seen such powerful emotions and how much one person can affect a powerful being like their Princess Luna.

Chris looks at Luna as he finished, "Luna... I hope this party will be everything you ever wanted."

Luna smiles and looks down, the tears stopped flowing as she replies, "Thank you... for everything."

Chris hugs her tightly as the ponies resume their work and put more effort into making it the best night for their Princess Luna.

2100 the skys of Equestria

"Sir is this the most prudent idea?" asked the royal guard pegasus as his partner carry the chariot containing Chris in his newly christened armor.

"Are you getting paid?" Chris asks as the guards pony responds positively.

"Fine by me!" He says, smiling behind his helmet as he runs a few steps and leaps off the chariot as he already had his entrance choreographed, the song Shoot to Thrill by AC/DC plays in his head set as he sets it to play at ground level. He knew to let the ponies know that future tech is involved and this is what he meant. He free falls as the fireworks start exploding in the sky at his level around 11,000 feet, he activates his thrusters as his wings were tucked to increase falling speed.

He rolls and dodges the oncoming fireworks set up by Star Swirl as one accidently explodes in front of his face, "WHOA!"

He barrel rolls out of the way and fires off his thrusters as he opens his wings and falls faster in a dive as the song reaches its chorus,

"So don't you fool around
I'm gonna pull it pull it
Pull the trigger
Shoot to thrill play to kill
Too many women too many pills, yeah
Shoot to thrill play to kill
I got my gun at the ready gonna fire at will"

He lands in a ground pound at a pedestal made to withstand his entry as he spreads his wings wide, arms outstretched as the ponies stomp their hooves and cheered. He looks at the crowd as he lowers his arms as two ponies use their magic to disassemble his armor, first his helmet comes off as he shakes his head and smiles, the ponies cheer more as the armor comes off little by little, being stored away to be used for another time. He finally steps off his boots as he was dressed in the most professional looking suit, a black in color jacket with a dark blue shirt, white tie and dark blue best, his black pants matching his black dress shoes as he throws his hands down in a bowing gesture.

He waves to the ponies and points at a few with a smile, he gives a thumbs up to the pony tailors and the cobbler for a job well done. The song finally finishes as he fixes his cuffs, his cufflinks bearing the symbol of Princess Luna as he claps his hands along with the ponies hoof stomping.

"Oh its good to be here tonight fillies and gentlecolts!" He announces as the ponies fall silent.

"I appreciate that each and every one of you here has made it to celebrate our first Lunar festival, in honor and appreciation of a certain Princess that deserves it." He takes a step away from the pedestal as a ball of light suddenly forms and subsides as Princess Luna appears, dressed in her best gown.

"Princess Luna everypony!" He claps as the ponies applaud in their own way as well as Luna extends her wings, taking in the admiration and love of her subjects before her.

"Everypony must've felt uncomfortable with the music though?" he asks as most ponies nodded,

"I'm sorry, its a good song from where I came from, also I wanted to do that intro for a while. Enough about me lets get to celebrating the event by the raising of the moon! Princess when you're ready." He says giving Luna the spotlight as she smiles and uses her magic, the moon slowly raises into the night sky as the sun sets and fades away.

The ponies watch with admiration and awe as the bright moon climbs high into the night sky, since most ponies sleep through it they never see the moon in its full glory. With that in mind they take in the crisp light as they all talk amongst each other about how wonderful the moon looks for the first time. Luna notices this and beams with pride as Chris walks to her and stands by her side.

"How do you feel?" He asks her as she nuzzles him,

"Better than I have ever felt in all my life. Thank you so much Chris." She says.

He smiles and hugs her neck as the ponies swoon at the sight of the two sharing an embrace.

2200 Castle grounds

Chris jokes and laughs with a few of the guards ponies as the ones newly off duty, as Chris introduced the rest system into the royal security ponies schedule, the guards can now rest for a few days and come back refreshed to do their duties as the other shift gets to rest the next few days then relieve the exhausted guards.

Luna was surrounded by lots of her followers as they bask in her moonlight and proclaim at how much they love the night. Her sister still received a fair amount of attention but was always nudging them towards Lunas side. Celestia walks to Chris as the off duty guards gasp and bow to pay their respects as Chris gets up and bows as well.

"No need Chris, you all are having a wonderful time by the looks of it." She says smiling.

"That is very much true princess, I also see that your younger sister is stunned by the amount of admiration she is getting." He smiles as Celestia turns to look at Luna as she looks to Celestia and Chris then mouths the words help me as the two laugh.

Chris gets up and goes to the piano and takes a seat as Celestia watches, "Princess... duplication spell please."

Celestia does so and Chris splits into two different beings, "Now I know some of you know the songs I played for our dear lunar princess today, but now this is a piece I acquired from someone who wrote this in honor of Princess Luna in my world. It is called... Starlight Waltz."

He starts it off with a dream like melody as the copy plays on the percussion xylophone giving the twinkling effect, he makes another copy to take the violin and small guitar as they all come together and start playing. The mood gave happiness and relaxation to all the ponies in the room as Luna cried softly as she listened to her human play. The song reaches a new point as it starts playing the same notes even louder as the copies and the original play with more enthusiasm and energy as they slowly lower the tone and finally end with a few lingering notes.

The audience doesn't say a word as Chris gets up and the copies all fall in behind Chris and disappear into his body as he holds out a hand to the Princess, "Princess Luna, these ponies here, along with your sister and I, are all here for you. You play a crucial role in the ponies day of work, and night of rest. Please don't feel discouraged when the ponies sleep, they must rest for the next day, but there will be some that will play and relax in your moonlight. We all love you Princess Luna."

The ponies bow as he finishes his ending speech, Chris follows suit as well as Celestia, showing love and respect for her sister as Luna was overwhelmed.

"I... I.... I don't know what to say." She says nervously as Chris gets up and walks to the blushing Princess as he whispers in her ear,

"Please don't become Nightmare Moon.
