(Note: This is based on real events!)

It was 7:05 A.M., Sunday morning. It was Sunday which most of the servicemen at Pearl are sleeping in. Opana mobile radar station 30 miles from Pearl Harbor, radar operator Joe Lockard makes first contact. "What's this?", said Joe. (Radar was still a experimental technology in 1941. It's importance was about to be realized. The radar systems was first used by the RAF in Britian due to the continuous night bombardments from the Germans with their bombers releasing bombs on British cities, airfields, and other military facilities and targets. Radar today tracks planes and passengers all over the world every year.) "Im getting the warning division."

"Suit yourself, after this lets go eat, it's after 7:00 A.M.!, said Private Elliott with him.

                  Back at Pearl Harbor HQ...

(Rings of a telephone in the building.) "Operator go ahead.", said Private Joseph McDonald of the 580th airborne warning division.

"Look I don't know, everyone's off shift here's Lieutenant Tyler."

               "Lieutenant Tyler.", said the Lieutenant.

"Sir, this is Private Elliott with Joe at Opana point sir."

"Go ahead Private. What is it?"

"There's a large formation of planes coming in from the North at 140 miles, three degrees east."

"Yeah? Well, don't worry about it. Those boys at Opana Point must have picked the flight of B-17's coming in from the mainland."

               Back at Opana Point...

"Lieutenant Tyler said don't worry about it.", Elliott said to Joe.

"Come on, let's go eat Elliott."

Joe sended a telegram to Pearl Harbor HQ about the formation of planes and they had shut down the mobile radar station.

               7:45 A.M. Oahu Point.

"Well Crowe we will raise the flag when the Captains of the West Virginia and Tennessee arrive. And the band will start playing. This is going well isn't it?", Lt.Callaham said.

"Yes it is. To bad Charlie isn't here or Sierra. She is visiting her family in San Diego, California. I love her."

"I know how much you miss your girlfriend, but don't worry! Besides she'll be back before you know it."

"Yeah, your right. I see the captains in their boat coming towards us. Get ready!"

             Back at Ford Island...

The ponies just woke up and saw some unknown planes in the sky above the harbor.

"I see planes but why are they not landing?", Twilight asked the Eagles who were at the Cafeteria.

"Maybe some kind of top secret exercise that HQ is doing Twilight.", said Captain Stone as he was finishing his meal.

"Maybe, but why are they circling around much?", Frank said.

The captains arrived where Crowe and Callaham were and started a salute. A sailor raised the flag and the trumpet player played a military call when the flag was being raised. After that the Star-Spangled-Banner was being played by the Nevada's crew.

While the band was being raised 2 planes went in low and we're heading towards the USS Oaklahoma. One of the planes launched a bomb at the main turret no.2 and exploded at the hull!

The band was playing as a plane flew right over both of the Lieutenant's heads.

"Get that guy's number, dick (the pilot). I'll report to him for safety violations.", Lt.Callaham said to Crowe.

(Bomb whistling) Bomb whistle: When a bomb from a plane is dropped the bomb makes a noise as it falls from the sky.

              Booomm!!!

"What the hell is going on Crowe?"

               "I don't know Callamam!"

               (Bombs whistling and multiple explosions)

               "Come on Crowe!"

Both of the Lieutenant's went to the HQ which was right behind them and went to the front desk.

"Put this on the alarm private!", Callaham said to the Private at the front desk and wrote this out: Air raid Pearl Harbor, this is no drill!

"Aye sir I'll put this on the alarm quickly!", the private said to both of the Lieutenant's.

"Let's get to Wheller airfield Crowe! Let's see if we can get our birds in the air!", Callaham said.

Next the alarm went off and the speaker said this on the microphone: Air raid on Pearl Harbor! The empire of the rising sun's (The empire of Japan) symbol has been seen on the enemy's wings. This is not a drill!

Everyone heard that message and began to defend themselves on land and on ships.

"An air raid and we're being attacked!", Joe said to the whole group in the cafeteria.

Captain Stone got up from the table and went to the  cafeteria line. "Hey boys, I just got word that Pearl Harbor is being attacked! Get to your planes! Let's go, let's go!", the Captain told all the fly boys in the cafeteria.

The battleship's in Battleship Row were sitting ducks. They were perfect targets. The Arizona took a torpedo and the Captain radioed the crew of the Arizona: Battlestations everyone! Battlestations!" The crew went to their AA guns (Anti-Aircraft) and tried to shoot down the enemy planes. They were also trying to put out fires on the bow of the ship and all other U.S. battleships were preparing to defend themselves.

The USS California wasn't doing so well. The ship had took a torpedo and had a flooding from the hull. The Nevada was also having a hard time to defend themselves as a dive bomber approached and released it's payload of a 550 LBS (250 KG) bomb on the main deck.

(Booommm)

"HELL! Huge explosion on the USS Nevada! Critical hit on the Nevada's port bow. Huge hole! We're trying to beach the ship!"

              Pearl Harbor HQ...

"Warn the airfields.", the Sargent said to the phone operator.

"I'm trying sir, but all of the phone lines are jammed."

              "Well try the radio again!"

Ford Island and Hickam air fields aren't very lucky since they had the planes parked up in lines on the ground. They were parked like that since due to a ground attack but they were perfect targets from the air.

"Get some birds up and running! Come on let's go!", Captain Stone told the entire group at Ford.

"Sir both of the Lieutenants are asking you and your squad to get to Wheeler airfield and get some planes there! He said immediately now!", a private from the marine 349th group told Captain Stone and his squad.

"You ponies shouldn't be out here, it's a war zone! Get to the control tower and stay with the staff there! Go now before you get yourselves killed out here!", Captain Stone told the mane six. They then went to the control tower and were with the staff and saw the entire battle.

Hickam was under attack and Ford Island's planes were all damaged or destroyed on the ground. Hickam had some men at machine and Anti-Aircraft guns aiming at the attackers.

"Two planes shot down!", a marine said over the radio.

"This the USS Ward an enemy  midget sub had reported at the harbor enterance earlier this morning. The shots we've  fired at it missed but we got it with depth charges."

"Ward this is Pearl Harbor HQ, we've got another one in the harbor!"

"USS Mohghan is approaching it at ramming speed!"

"This is the Ward, permission to help you out Mohghan?"

               "USS Ward permission granted."

"This is the Mohghan we have the sub in our sights! Ramming it now!

The Monghan rammed the midget submarine and then released two depth charges.

"HQ this is the Mohghan we've dealt with the sub and is going down!"

"Good work Mohghan! Now help rescue survivors from the battleships!"

              "Yes sir we're on it!"

               The White House

A messenger from the U.S. Congress gave President Roosevelt a letter about the attack. Roosevelt read  it and papers fell out of his hand. "How bad is it?", Roosevelt said in his wheelchair with his bodyguard pushing him.

"It's not over yet sir.", the messenger said.

"The entire fleet there. My god, my god."

Hickam airfield was under heavy fire. The men at Hickam were trying to get planes in the air but they either get shot down or crash and explode with others. And crews were trying to put out the fires coming from the planes. The flight of B-17 bombers arrived and landed at any nearby airfields on Oahu. Also the SBD Dauntless dive bombers from the U.S. carriers landed and the pilots helped out the other men at Hickam. 3 were shot down by the Japanese 'Zero' fighters. And 1 got shot down by friendly AA fire.

The first wave ended but a second wave was arriving.

              Back at Pearl Harbor HQ...

The top leaders at Pearl Harbor were at the general's office looking out the window. The HQ was far away from the battle and wasn't damaged.

"Give me a status report Captain.", the general said. (It's not MacArthur since he's in the Philippines.)

"1. Oklahoma - Capsized. ( Capsized: When a ship is turned over by water and sinks.)

               2. Nevada has taken a torpedo forward and is down by the head.

               3. West Virginia - Subjected to at least 6 torpedo hits and several deck fires.

               4. Cruisers - Raleigh and Helena are damaged and listing.", the captain said to the General. (Listing: When a ship is leaning to one side and if the ship continues to list then it will tip over.)

"And the California, two torpedo hits and fires all around. Recently abondened. I just came from that ship.", said Captain John Tyler of the USS California.

The second wave appeared and more bombers had arrived than the first wave.

Japanese dive bombers were targeting the USS Arizona and began to release their payload.

            (Bomb whistles)

           (Massive explosions)

The Arizona exploded with multiple explosions and fires were all over the ship's deck. After the Arizona exploded the destroyer USS Shaw erupted in a massive fireball in the drydocks. Fires that were earlier on the ship reached the magazine filled with explosives and ammunition. There were massive fires all over the drydocks and the battleship USS Pennsylvania caught fire from the Shaw's explosion.

               Wheeler airfield...

"Need more ammo over here! More ammo!", the Sargent at Wheeler airfield said to the troops unloading supplies.

"Crowe and Callaham! We came here as quickly as we can!", Captain Stone said to both of them.

"Well that's nice Captain Stone, but were busy he-!", Lieutenant Callaham said to the Eagle Squadron and was interrupted by planes flying over the airfield. The planes passed over but the pilots didnt released their payloads.

"Hey guys you got the guns yet!?", Lt. Crowe asked the marines who were gathering guns and ammo.

"Lieutenant we're all set!", the Sargent said.

"Come on guys lets get to the planes let's go, let's go!", Lieutenant Crowe said to every pilot and marine. The Lieutenant's had their planes with the famous shark mouth that they had as their nose paint on the front of the engine. The Eagles had Warhawks like the Lieutenant's had but they didn't had the shark mouth nose paint.

"Me and Callaham will take off first wait until we take off!", Crowe said to the Eagles.

Lieutenant's Crowe and Callaham were taking off but chose a different route. They took off the grass rather than the runway which suprised the Japanese pilots. The Lieutenant's were almost airborne and were worried.

"Crowe when we take off I'll go right and you'll go left got it?"

"Got it Callaham just don't freeze!"

             "NOW!"

Both of the Lieutenant's were airborne and had gone their ways so the fighters wouldn't shoot the Eagles down.

"Eagle Squadron this is Lieutenant Callaham take off now we've distracted the fighters!"

"This is Captain Stone roger that!"

The Lieutenant's were flying to Pearl Harbor and were being chased by fighters.

"Crowe I've got 3 bandits on me!", Callaham said to Crowe from the radio.

"Same with me Callaham! Hey Callaham how about we play 'chicken' with these japs.

"Okay I like your idea I'll go to my left, you go to your left alright?"

               "Got it don't let go!"

               "NOW CROWE LEFT!"

The Lieutenant's went to their left's and the six fighters all crashed with each other and fell to the ground.

"Nice going Crowe! We did it!"

               "Yeah thanks Callaham!"

"This is Captain Stone of the 71st Eagle Squadron permission to form up with you two?"

"This is Lt.Callaham you have permission to form up with us. Joe and frank go to the far right alongside me. Also Tom and Frank go alongside Crowe to the left. We're going in towards Hickam be ready boys!"

"Japanese planes at 11 O'clock Lieutenants!", Frank said to both of the Lieutenant's.

"Fire at will everyone!", Callahman said to all the pilots.

The Japanese pilots were suprised that the American pilots were in the air. Crowe shot down two bombers and the Eagles shot down 3 aircraft over battleship row. "Way to go guys!", Crowe said to the squad.

The American's in the water were cheering for them. "Yeah! It's Lieutenant's Callaham and Crowe with the Eagles! There's our boys!", one sailor cheered for them.

The squad of 6 Warhawks shot down more enemy planes that were pulling back from the battle and then they landed at Hickam Airfield. The mane six were at Hickam waiting for the pilots to land. The flag at Hickam was still waving in the air and was shredded by gunfire and was badly ripped. Pearl Harbor lays in ruins.

"Is it over? Is it finally over?", Twight asked Crowe and Callaham

"Yes it is over Twilight, it's over. We know what this means Callaham.", Ceowe said.

"Yes Crowe, this means war with Japan!", said Callaham as he closes his right hand into a fist.

"Lieutenant Crowe sir, the general asked me to send you this its urgent for you.", a Sargent from Hickam handed Crowe a letter.

"Lt.Crowe I'm sorry to say this but you brother Charlie is dead. He was on the USS Arizona and over a thousand men had died in the blast. I am very sorry for this upsetting news about your brother.                                  From, Pearl Harbor HQ", Crowe read the entire letter to the whole group.

Crowe was shocked and the letter fell out of his hands and landed on the ground with debris. Tears fell from his eyes about his brother. "Charlie no."
