Sonata Apologizes
The Morning After
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe blue haired girl woke up at 8 in the morning. Sonata was super tired, but just couldn't fall back asleep. Even after just waking up she was still thinking about the other sirens and hoping they were alright.
She walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge. Sunset heard Sonata and went to the kitchen, where she saw Sonata grabbing some sausages and ketchup from the refrigerator.
“Are you.. hungry?” Asked Sunset, yawning between her question. “I can just make cereal.”
“Uh sure.” Said Sonata, as she put back the sausage and ketchup back in the refrigerator. Sonata sat down, while Sunset poured some cereal in a bowl.
“So, do you want it with or without milk?” asked Sunset, looking back at Sonata from the counter with a raised eyebrow.
Sonata put a hand under her chin and looked up in thought. “Um, I think I'll eat it.. without the milk” Replied Sonata with a small smile.
Sunset smiled at Sonata and poured the milk in her bowl. She sat down next to Sonata and gave her the bowl with just the cereal in it. Sonata really liked it.
After finishing the cereal, both girls dressed up and got ready for school. Sunset’s apartment was just a few minutes walk,
They arrived at the school in just 4 minutes today, not talking much on the way.
Sunset waved at Pinkie, who was standing outside the school with Rarity. Sonata followed Sunset to Pinkie and Rarity, but was super scared on how Rarity and Pinkie will respond to her. She was still worrying about the girls and the whole time Sunset and her were walking to school she kept thinking about how the other girls would react to her. Would they still be friends? Would they go back to being enemies?
“Hey girls!” Sunset smiled, happy to see Rarity and Pinkie.
“Hello, Darling.” Rarity smiled back and giving Sonata a small smile as well.
“Hiya!” said Pinkie, giving Sonata a big grin.
Rarity looked at Sonata and asked. “So.. how does Sonata feel about living in your new apartment?”
“Oh, it's great!” Sonata replied, relieved that they didn’t seem to hate her and they were still friends. “Sunset is super kind to me and it's really nice there.”
Sunset blushed and rubbed the back of her head. “Gee, thanks.”
Sonata grinned at Sunset. All four of them heard the bell ringing shortly after and realized they needed to hurry to class.
“C'mon we have to hurry to class!” Pinkie shouted, quickly rushing with the others to their first class of the day.
