Reunion and Acceptance

Jakira and Fluttershy have been hanging out together for the next three days. They both tell stories about what they have been through in their pasts. Jakira told her more about what he's been through from a little colt to a eighteen year old unicorn that he is now. Fluttershy has been listening to him from beginning to end. She felt bad for him that he's been through such pain and bullying. She was very close to crying about his mother who died from an expedition on a mountain. She never heard such a sad story coming from such a pony.

The day after they met, Fluttershy invited him to a picnic with her friend Tree Hugger. Jakira was never invited to anything as a foal, but it was nice of her and Tree Hugger to let him join them in their conversations. Jakira had never heard so much talk about animals and the environment. For a second there, he felt as if they were hippies and could possibly be doing marijuana. But no, they just to love the world of animals, creatures, etc. Jakira was having a pleasant day with them.

Besides talking about the environment and animals, they would lay on their backs and watch the clouds to find a figure of an animal. They would even allow Jakira to get in touch with the animals and creatures that they interact with. Jakira has never been up close to a bear before. He was scared till Fluttershy came to help him get in touch with the bear. The bear was starting to take a liking to him and gave him a big bear hug. Tree Hugger and Fluttershy laughed as the bear was still holding on to Jakira trying to find a way to get out of the bears paws. Either than that, Jakira has never had this much fun since he and Poyo went to Manehattan one summer when he was at the age of seven.

It's Friday now, school ended early. Jakira left to meet with Fluttershy near a tree that was close to the school.

Jakira found her at the tree holding a pair of bottles. She said that another one of her friends Applejack, has made them some fresh apple juice for them. Jakira helped her open the bottles and together drank the apple juice. It was really tasty. This was Jakira's first time drinking apple juice that was fresh and sweet.

"Please give my compliments to Applejack." said Jakira as he held up the empty bottle.

"I sure will." said Fluttershy.

"Since I'm out of school, you wanna go take a walk with me to Sugarcube Corner and have a shake?"

"Sure."

Jakira went with Fluttershy around Ponyville to get there. By the time they made it, Pinkie Pie came trotting through the doors.

"Hey there, Fluttershy!" said Pinkie.

"Hi Pinkie." said Fluttershy.

Pinkie Pie then looked over to Jakira.

"Who are you? A friend of Fluttershy?" said pinkie as she trotted over to him.

"Yes I am. My name is Jakira. Jakira Pudo. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too. My name is Pinkie Pie. I'm one of Fluttershy's friends. By the way, are you Fluttershy's coltfriend?"

Jakira and Fluttershy's face went red from her question.

"No she's not! She's just a friend." said Jakira with an embarrassment.

"Just wondering. She's told me a lot about you. What have you two come in for?" said Pinkie with a smile.

"We came here to have a shake. Could you make two for the both of us, please." said Jakira.

"Sure thing. Come inside and sit down in our tables as I make your shakes."

Jakira and Fluttershy followed Pinkie into Sugarcube Corner. They both took seats and waited for their shakes.

Five minutes passed till Pinkie Pie gave them both vanilla shakes with a cherry on top.

"Here are the shakes for the lovebirds." said Pinkie with a little snicker.

"PINKIE!" said Jakira and Fluttershy at the same time.

"Juuuuuust Kiding." said Pinkie as she headed back to the counter.

Jakira and Fluttershy drank their shakes. Jakira's eyes went wide.

"WOW." said Jakira with surprise.

"Is there something wrong?" said Fluttershy.

"No. It's just that I haven't been here for about three years and they still taste amazing."

"Oh. Well, Pinkie Pie sure does know what sweet tooth anypony here has."

Jakira and Fluttershy finished their shakes till there was nothing but cherries. Jakira ate his cherry and then looked back at Fluttershy that was staring at her cherry.

"You OK Flutters?" said Jakira with a cocked eyebrow.

"Well…Um…I'm just too full to eat this."

"She's so cute when she's shy." thought Jakira. "Well, do you mind if I have it?"

"Sure." said Fluttershy as she handed over the cherry to Jakira.

Jakira ate the cherry leaving nothing but the stem.

"Thanks for the shakes Pinkie. They were delicious." said Jakira waving a hoof to get Pinkies attention.

"Your welcome." said Pinkie.

"How much do I owe ya?"

"That'll be ten bits."

Jakira walked up to the counter and gave Pinkie the ten bits.

"Thank you. Come again next time." said Pinkie with a smile.

"We will Pinkie. Have a good day." said Jakira as he and Fluttershy waved to Pinkie goodbye.

The sun was starting to set. Jakira and Fluttershy were walking towards a bridge that is close to the entrance of Ponyville. They both sat down and watched the sun setting down with all of its beauty.

"I could stay here everyday watching this sunset." said Jakira with amusement.

"You come this bridge a lot?" said Fluttershy with a cocked eyebrow.

"When I was little, I got away from some bullies and took a breather right at this very spot. And just like now, I looked at the sun setting in the distance and thought it was one of the most beautiful things that I never expected to see. It was so beautiful that I wanted to cry. It felt as if, the sunset was cheering me up. Ever since then, every once in a while, I come here and look at the sunsets beauty as it falls."

Jakira started to shed a tear on his right eye. Fluttershy noticed and gave him a hug. She then let go of him and they both continued to look at the sunset.

"Sweet fascination
Though I-" Sung Jakira before Fluttershy interrupted him.

"What song is that?" said Fluttershy.

"It was lyrics to a song from a book series I've been reading called Record of Pony War."

"Well…It's a beautiful song when you sang it." said Fluttershy with a blush.

Jakira began to blush along with her. Jakira slid closer to her and something he didn't expect to say yet.

"Not as beautiful as you."

Fluttershy and Jakira's face went even redder.

Jakira and Fluttershy started to move heads closer to one another.

"Yo, Jakira!"

Before Fluttershy and Jakira could even kiss, Somepony interrupted them by calling out Jakira's name. The pony was walking towards them with a coat that pretty much covered most of the pony's fur. He wore a hat that covered his hair and almost his ears.

"I've been gone for five days and you already have a marefriend with you? You're one lucky pony." said the pony as he got closer.

Jakira recognized that voice.

"Poyo, is that you?"

"Indeed it is."

Jakira and Fluttershy stood up. Jakira walked over to Poyo and gave him a hug. Jakira looked back at Fluttershy.

"Hey Flutters, this is my friend Poyo I was telling you about. He was the pony that saved by flank from that bully Drake."

"Hi there." said Fluttershy as she walked up to both Jakira and Poyo.

"Salutations." said Poyo.

"Where have you been, Poyo?" said Jakira with curiosity.

"That's why I came here to find you. I need you to come with me."

"Sure, I'll come. First, I need to say bye to Flutters."

"Take your time." said Poyo as he turned around.

Jakira walked over to Fluttershy and gave her a hug.

"I have to go now Flutters."

"When will I see you again?"

"I'll see you again on Monday."

"OK…See you later."

Jakira waved goodbye to Fluttershy as he began to walk with Poyo.

Jakira and Poyo went to Jakira's adoptive mothers' home and asked if Jakira could spend the night with Poyo at his home. She agreed and let the two friends have a sleep over.

It was getting dark outside. Jakira and Poyo have been walking for about five minutes. Jakira wondered why his friend wanted him to go over to his place for.

"Wazzup Poyo? What happened to you over the past five days?" said Jakira as they continued walking.

Poyo looked over to Jakira.

"I'm in danger." he said with a serious tone in his voice.

"Why's that?"

"My father died."

"I'm very sorry to hear that. How did it happen? Accident?"

"No. It wasn't an accident. It was a suicide."

Jakira's eyes went wide.

"He covered himself with gas and lit himself on fire."

"Sweet Celestia." said Jakira as he stepped back a bit in horror.

"It's true what they say. Smoking is really bad for your health, especially if it's your on flesh that's smoking. There was nothing I could've done to stop it. I couldn't get near him because of the heat. My father wasn't acting like himself. The first clue I found that something was wrong with my father was when I found my dog decapitated."

Three Days Earlier

Poyo walked into his fathers' study room.

"Hey dad, our dog's decapitated! Should we-"

Poyo was cut off by how bloody his fathers coat was.

"Don't worry about it, Poyo." said Poyo's father as he levitated a cigarette to his mouth. "He bit me. So I had to kill the furry fucker."

Poyo's father turned around.

"Hehehe. You should have seen him as I pulled his guts out. Hehehehe…HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!"

Late that night, Poyo was sleeping as thunder boomed outside of his room. Poyo then woke up from hoof steps coming closer from the darkness. He then saw a levitated knife above him that was heading towards his skull. Poyo jumped out of his bed in time before the knife could even kill him. He then saw his father with a scared, but crazy look at Poyo.

"What are you doing?! That could've killed me!" shouted Poyo.

His father walked back a few steps and ran towards the door.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" shouted Poyo's father as he disappeared through the hallway.

Present

"He tried to kill you? That's insane!" said Jakira.

"If you think that's weird, wait till you hear about the autopsy on my fathers' dead body. He weighed twice as much dead as he did alive. But he wasn't the only thing that died." said Poyo as he and Jakira went past the closed Sugarcube Corner.

"What do you mean?" said Jakira with a cocked eyebrow.

Poyo looked back at him.

"My father's legacy. It was such a secret burden that I couldn't carry alone. If there wasn't so much at stake, I would've spared you from its horror. As it is, I needed somepony like you to share it's secrets with me."

Poyo stopped.

"Jakira, I want you to accept the responsibilities with me of my father's legacy."

Jakira nodded and an agreement was settled as they continued towards Poyo's Mansion.
