Prison Break (Villain perspective)
"So you want to hear a ghost story huh kids? Ha! I'l tell you about a real life horror story! There was once a man just like us that lived a normal life. He had a average routine just like you. He went to school just like you. He even had a family just like you! However he gave that all away, and why?"
" No one truly knows the reason, But if you don't remember anything I say remember this about that man. He became a demon, not by giving his soul away, but by doing what is considered taboo. He was the man who devoured his own wings."
"Tartarus"
Tartarus the most terrible and bloodthirsty prison on the face of Equestia. In this prison the inmates fight for survival and are tortured until they beg for death. However in one of the lowest parts of this prison there sits a certain inmate, all of his limbs chained to each wall. His palms impaled onto the wall so he couldn't move and with 4 iron spikes impaled threw his chest where his heart is.
"So who's prison cell is this?" said a guard as he walked up to the cell door.
"You seriously don't know who's in there?" said another guard. "You new here or something?"
"Y-Yes sir!" the guard said giving a saloot. "My names Rising star sir!" Rising star said trying to show respect to his Superior.
The guard rolled his eyes, "Names Poison Ranger. I'm guessing your from the capital based on your lack of knowledge." Poison said as he looked back at the far wall.
Rising star nodded his head. "yes sir!......Truth be told I'm a little nervous. I heard the warden hear is a real beast." He said.
"That's because he is. After all because of his transformation magic, they nicknamed the guy Cerberus." poison said with a chuckle.
"But.....I just met the guy and he doesn't seem like that bad of a guy." Rising star said as he looked back at the door. "So.....who is in there?" he said.
"In that cell is one of the most dangerous criminals known on the face of equestria. The man who once destroyed the sky city off cloudsdale, and he managed to fight all the way into the throne room in canterlot." Poison said turning to the door.
"Whoa, wait a second cloudsdale wasn't destroyed! How could it when its still floating in the sky?" Rising star said with a frightened expression.
"Most of the new generation doesn't know this but cloudsdale used to three times the size it is now." poison said looking at rising star.
suddenly there was a loud sound from behind them only to see a pair of eyes starring at them through the small opening in the door. Rising star turned around and fell back out of surprise.
"That guy is the same man who devoured his own wings and became a monster......No, a Demon." Poison said turning to the cage and unlocking the door.
As the door opened poison stepped back and revealed the man stuck inside. He was very tall at about 5'3 inches his skin was snow white from the lack of sunlight. He had a muscular frame which was odd considering he was chained to wall, he had short light blue hair with hazel eyes and a very cocky grin on his face. The most defining feature though was the Iron spikes still impaled into his chest.
The man finally spoke after a minute of awkward silence. "So I'm guessing its lunch time?" He said pulling out one of the stakes.
"Yes come along with me." poison said as he snapped his fingers a pair of large handcuffs appeared on his hands.
"Really is there any need for these again?" The man said lifting the cuffs up to eye level and then started pulling another spike from his body.
"If you do something stupid, the cuffs have runes that will activate and a very powerful poison will run threw you're body and destroy your nervous system, crippling you." Poison said as he started walking down the hallway.
"well then. Come on kid time to get on started. You don't want the demon to come after you. Do you?" the man said as he started laughing only to fell a sharp felling in his wrists only to look down and see the cuffs glowing.
"Stop talking and Start walking." Poison said looking at him with the intent to kill in his eyes. "You're body maybe immortal, but that doesn't mean we can't hurt you Dasuc." poison said as the man known as Dasuc started walking behind him.
"No way Dasuc! THE DASUC! The demon from that old fairy tale about the man who ate his wings! That's HIM!" Rising star could only look in disbelief at the legend in front of him.
Dasuc looked back at the young guard and gave a smile that could freeze a Dragon solid. Rising star felt a chill down his spine and started to get up and walk in the other direction.
"This is insane! There's no way I can guard something like that! The hell with this, I'm out of here! Nothing is worth this!" after walking out of site he started sprinting away.
"Ah there's another one gone. Sorry Poison old buddy!" Dasuc said chuckling as they walked into an elevator. "Oh so eating in E class this time huh?" Poison remained silent as the elevator started to rise, he was busy thinking about the new recruit.
"I cant really blame the kid I mean it's not everyday you find out that a old tall tale that we tell kids about actually exists and he's still alive. That's enough to make most people quit, but its worst to have kids who never have had to fight to survive, Honestly I hope the kid can get away from this hell."Poison looked at the rising floors ignoring the whistling from the prisoner behind him and the clank of the third iron spike he pulled from his chest.
"Tell me something Big P? you haven't forgotten our deal have you?" Dasuc said walking up to the man so as to be at direct eye contact which finally got Poison's attention.
"No, I haven't. You want to know where the sunset celebration is going to be this year right?" Poison said again looking back at the elevator door and listening to the screams of the inmates.
Dasuc nodded his head in anticipation, "Yes! Where's it gonna be this year? Common tell me!" he said with a grin on his face.
"Twenty years and it's the same question over and over again. What is it he hopes to gain from all this? It's not like were gonna let him out of here any time soon." Poison took a moment to recall where the new location where the celebration would take place. "
"In two weeks from know the festival is being held on a Friday and It's in a small town not far off from the capital. It's a farming town most known for their horse breeding and there apple farming that they sell in the capital. The name is kind of silly, but the town found it appropriate because of there history so they named it...." Dasuc kept his face hidden behind his bangs so that poison couldn't read his emotions. "......ponyville." Poison said face palming as he said the full name out loud.
Dasuc stayed quiet for a solid minute until the final spike slid out from his chest and hit the floor and the elevator stopped and the doors opened which showed three armed guards waiting for them. Once the doors full opened the guards saw the prisoner on his back......laughing.
"OH MY GOD! HAHAHAHAHA YOUR FREAKING KIDDING ME RIGHT!" Dasuc said trying not to die from the lack of air. "OH PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO KILL ME! CAUSE IF SO IT'S WORKING! HAHAHA!" Dasuc said laughing as hard as he could while poison left the elevator with a blush on his face.
"Ugh......just get him to the cafeteria.....please. I need to go see the warden." Poison said walking away.
As the guards picked up the laughing inmate and started to walk him to the E class cafeteria Dasuc stopped laughing and looked ahead with a toothy grin on his face. "Its about damn time."
"wardens office"
"So I'm sorry warden.......but I don't believe I can stay here." Rising star said bowing in front of the wardens desk.
The warden of Tartarus the keeper of hell's gates also known as the Cerberus. Anyone who knows his name is either through fear or though word of mouth about his powers. Many sages of the current generation have shared stories about his powers, and how his strength has changed the magical world. He is at least 7 inches tall wearing a black suit with a wardens cap on his head. He had Short, wavy, graying light brown hair and had large brown eyes, he also had a very strange set of teeth that looked like sharp canines.
"I understand" the warden said looking at the young man in front of him with a expressionless face which caught the young solider off guard.
"Really?" rising star said looking back at the warden in surprise.
The warden stood up and walked to the door and gestured the solider to follow which he did without question. As the two started walking down the hall the warden started, "At this prison we lose over 50 guards a day from accidents from torture accidents, from riots, from poor health conditions, and the constant fights with inmates."
The warden said as they stood in front of a window that showed the new inmates entering the prison. "The prisoners and the Guards at this prison both have a simple job......survive" The warden said looking at the new inmates as they got there pictures for there profile. "I can't really blame you for trying to leave this place, after all it is hell." The warden said as they started walking away not noticing the look that one of the inmates gave the warden.
"In the end everyone in this prison has to fight for survival either for food, shelter, and just survival. Even I have to show my dominance over my own soldiers to show my authority as there warden." The warden said as they continued down the hallway.
"But......how could someone like me survive in a place like this?" Rising star said looking down at his feet feeling like an ant in front of a mountain.
The warden looked over examining the young man before him and put his hand on his shoulder, "A long time ago I used to be like you. I was Afraid, afraid of this giant challenge put in front of me." The warden said as Rising star looked up at him. "But I had someone teach me, and guide me to the real truth in justice." The warden said as he made his way to a another door. "The truth is if we show as Guards that we want to survive, we need to be on the same level as our inmates and that means we have to fight just like they do,...... But we fight harder." The warden said.
As The warden said this he opened the door it showed a large group of soldiers training and making sure they were in there top conditions so that they can deal with any situation. Rising star looked in amazement at the shear level of participation that every Guard gave considering the place they were in.
"I truly believe everyone deserve a chance to prove themselves.....don't you?" The warden said looking at the young man.
Rising star clicked his heels together and looked up at the warden with a new fire in his eyes. "YES SIR!" Rising star said giving the warden a saloot which gave the warden a reason to smile and caused all the other Guards to stop and laugh with pride with there new recruit.
"Well then Rising star." The warden said walking into the center of the room and signaled the others to get ready. "Lets see how much you want to survive!"
"E-class cafeteria"
"Ah! home sweet home! It still smells like sulfur!"Dasuc said as he entered the cafeteria. Every inmate was getting there share of the grub and some taking more than what there offered, and of course there are those few who threaten others for there food.
The Guards left Dasuc to his business and he went over to the line were the inmates lined up for there grub. "I've missed the food in E-class!"Dasuc said with a stream of tears down his face. "It truly is a blessing!" He said as he received a tray of slop that looked like dis colored clay.
"HEY LOOK FRESH BLOOD!" said an inmate pointing at the door as a new group of inmates entered the room each with a look of terror at the room of blood thirsty prisoners. However there was one inmate with silver eyes and a very large muscles that looked almost bored.
"Oh who's that?" whispered one of the inmates from the crowd, Dasuc looked up at the large man.
"Oh I know that guy he's Juzaro!" Another inmate said as the group dispersed luckily for them the most amount of attention was focused on the Juzaro.
"Juzaro?" Asked a inmate as the new inmates walked over to the line to receive there slop.
"Juzaro the Iron Giant! you idiot! He was a celestial knight once, and served under the Equestrian military as a commanding officer. His magic type was labeled the iron defense and the ultimate striker!" An inmate said shaking his fellow inmate.
Juzaro took his food and walked over to a table that didn't have a single person near it and everyone even close to him moved away in fear of getting mugged.......all except one.
"So.....what did you do to get thrown down into a place like this." Dasuc said taking a seat next to the large man. Juzaro looked at Dasuc with a blank expression, "I would have thought that one of the knights of Celestia's little army would be forever faithful. What happened.....you lose a bet or something?" Dasuc said with a smirk.
Juzaro only looked back at his food and started eating, after a few minutes Juzaro finished his food and noticed that Dasuc was still looking at him. "Tell me something?" Juzaro said looking back at Dasuc. "I thought that they killed you back when you picked a fight with the throne 22 years ago." he said with a puzzled expression, "but here you are not with not so much as a scar on you." He said as Dasuc chuckled.
"Please lets not talk about my past, we already know all about that." Dasuc said with a grin, "I want to talk about you....so whats the scoop?" He said as he inched his face closer to Juzaro on to pushed back.
"I fought one of the celestial knight's." Juzaro said bringing a plastic spoon full of sloop up to his mouth and gagged slightly from the smell. "Ugh.......that's all I'm willing to talk about, That part of my life is over."
"Juzaro would you like......" Dasuc said looking at his cuffs. "To Escape from here?" he said with a sinister smile that stretched across his entire face.
Juzaro looked at the man with a more serious look this time. "How do you think you're gonna escape from here? And even if you had a plan why would I help you, I maybe a criminal in the eye's of the law but I still serve the crown loyally." He said looking in disbelief.
"You have magic that turns your body into iron, so it isn't beyond reason for you to be able to make me bleed." Dasuc said twirling a plastic knife in his hand. "All you have to do is make this little knife into iron and we can escape......O~k." he said putting the knife on the table.
"You do realize I cant use my magic while I have these cuffs on me right?" Juzaro said raising the cuffs in the air in front of Dasuc.
"Oh....... I CAN BREAK THESE CUFFS!" Dasuc said while laughing.
"You cant break those cuffs yo-" Juzaro said looking away until Dasuc slammed his cuffs into Juzaro's completely shattering them. "what the hell?" he said as Dasuc threw the knife to him.
"COME ON DO IT!" Dasuc said lifting his head up, "IF YOU DON'T DO IT NOW, WE WONT HAVE A SECOND CHANCE! AND IF YOU DON'T THERE GONNA MAKE SURE YOU GET PUNISHED FOR FREEING ME! SO WHAT'S IT GONNA BE, DEATH OR FREEDOM! " He said waiting for Juzaro to make a choice.
"Dammit you devil! You aren't giving me a choice here are you!" Juzaro said holding the knife. "If I do this I would have to go back to the capital....DAMMIT! I HATE THIS MONSTER!"
Juzaro focused on the plastic knife and poured his Mana threw his hand into the knife and gave it and iron curve. As Juzaro was preparing a group of Guards began running to the scene not noticing the situation until it was to late. Juzaro swung his hand using the knife to cut strait threw Dasuc's neck and blood was sent everywhere the guards stood helpless from the fear they felt.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DON-ACK!!!" The guard on the left said as his throat was ripped open. his body slowly fell and a torrent of blood exploded everywhere.
"Oh....... my god." The other guard said as he watched his comrade fall to the dirt not even realizing his death until he finally hit the ground. "s-s-SOUND THE ALARM THE DEMON EATER HAS ESCAPED HIS SHACKLES! HELP!" The guard said in a panic to get away only to feel something go threw his chest. He looked down to see a solid red spike that run threw his chest.
"Oh god, oh god please no,........ I-I-I have a family!" the guard said crying begging for his life.
"Sorry about this, but it's just business. You understand." Dasuc said standing up like nothing happened at all, his neck was perfect it didn't even have a scratch, the only real thing that changed is that his cuffs were destroyed.
"please.........please.........PLEASE!!!!" The guard begged as tears and snot ran down his face.
"BLOODY SPIKE!" Dasuc then snapped his fingers and the spike suddenly exploded into many different spikes that impaled the guard in verious directions.
"well everyone.......I hope you had a good Lunch." Dasuc said as the blood started to slip back into his skin, he walked up onto a table and looked down at all his fellow inmates and threw a set of keys on the ground. "WHO'S READY TO GET OUT OF THIS SHIT HOLE!" he said which resulted in all the inmates screaming in approval.
"Its fascinating that the warden believed that keeping this many inmates in one place would be a good idea." Dasuc got off the table and walked into the hallway with everyone else running ahead and unlocking other cells and killing any guard who would be stupid enough to try and stop them.
"FINALLY WHERE FREE!" cried an inmate as he and other inmates started to beat down the E-Block grand door. Until the door was blasted off its hinges from the other side sending the inmates flying.
"I see you guys are throwing a party, Mind if I cut in." came a voice form the door way. As the inmates looked at the figure man of them started running away in fear.
"Oh crap! Its the vice warden Shiyao!" said one of the inmates as he backed away from the vice warden. The warden had pure golden yellow hair that went down his back and he wore a simple knights armor and carried around a katana with a black sheath and black handle.
"Now then." Shiyao said raising his head out of the shadows to show.........
"A OLD MAN!" The inmates screamed in disbelief while there jaws hit the floor, while Dasuc was laughing his ass off and Juzaro looked annoyed.
"That's right i'm old........What were we talking about?"Shiyao said with confusion, looking around at the inmates. Shiyao appeared to be in his late 70's and had flowing golden hair, he wore a simple guards uniform that had the words "law" on the back.
"DAMN YOU'RE SLOW!" screamed the inmates.
"ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TELLING ME THIS OLD FART IS THE VICE WARDEN!" screamed a inmate.
"I MEAN COME ON! THIS GUY CANT BE THAT TOU-" the inmate screamed until suddenly Shiyao vanished and reappeared behind the two inmates. Before the two could look at them they were split in half there upper torso's falling to the floor in a heap.
"You should be more careful, turning your back on me could be your downfall." Shiyao said now his pure golden hair now falling from the roots to show a shinny bald head. Now with his hair gone it appeared that all of his wrinkles had vanished and he had a more muscular frame.
"what the hell? WHAT HAPPENED!?" One of the inmates screamed in terror as the warden sheathed his katana.
"When my hair is gold.......I'M OLD!" Shiyao said as his hair magically appeared and his old figure appeared again.
"YEAH NO DUH! DUMBASS!" The inmates screamed at the warden.
"Juzaro could you deal with this guy for us?" Dasuc asked giving him a knowing look.
"Huh, Like I can say no at this point!" Juzaro said walking in front of the other inmates and looked at Shiyao. "Well are we gonna do this or what?" He said as his body began to be completely covered in Iron.
"Juzaro, what happened to your since of justice? You were once a celestial knight! Have you really fallen so low as to forget you're loyalty to the crown!?" Shiyao said drawing his sword while his golden hair fell out showing his baled head.
"My loyalty to the crown will never falter! But celestia has grown to trusting and cant see the danger right in front of her!" Juzaro said bringing his arm up and launched at a speed that the other inmates couldn't follow and slammed into Shiyao.
"IRON PIN BALL!" Juzaro shouted as he and Shiyao stood in a stand still which stunned all the other inmates.
"Damn! He moved so fast I didn't even see him move!" A inmate shouted looking at the two Mages fight.
"You definitely have the strength to be a celestial knight! However in this prison only the strong survive!"Shiyao shouted swatting Juzaro away and re-sheathing his blade and started aiming the hilt right at Juzaro. "Now let me show you what it means,....... TO FIGHT FOR SURVIVAL!"
Shiyao vanished out of sight again and suddenly appeared behind Juzaro and started to re-sheath his sword, and as the hilt finally touched the scabbard Shiyao stood up. "GOLDEN BLADE STYLE! BLINDING FLASH!" Shiyao shouted as the rest of the inmates waited for Juzaro to scream in pain...... only not to hear a thing.
"Ummmmmmm........whoops." Shiyao said finally noticing he turned back into a old man.
"WHOOPS!!!!!!" The other inmates shouted as they fell over.
"I forgot that If I let my Hair grow out that I cant use my sword techniques." Shiyao said using his sword as a cane to keep himself up.
"Sorry about this." Juzaro said as he once again tackled Shiyao and sent him flying into the wall knocking him unconscious.
"Alright everybody let's go!" Dasuc said as the other inmates ran past him and went to the front entrance. "Well done Juzaro. I didn't think you had it in you." he said giving Juzaro a pat on the back.
"The real fight hasn't even started. Even I can't handle the Warden, He would tear me limb from limb." Juzaro said watching the inmates fun towards the front gates.
"Oh don't worry about that the warden isn't coming." Dasuc said with a cheeky grin which caused Juzaro to raise an eyebrow.
"How come?" Juzaro asked looking at Dasuc with a confused look.
"Training Facility"
The warden looked in horror as his men were in a bloody mess as rising star tour through them with claws made of blood. As he made his way to the warden he was almost swallowed hole by a canine head sprouting out of the wardens back, Rising star dodged the canines jaws and landed on the other side.
"What's the matter Warden? I thought you were supposed to be tough." Rising star said looking at the warden with a toothy grin.
"Who are you? You clearly faked your paper's seeing as how your using blood magic." The warden said looking at the Man who now was cackling.
"A follower of the blood! All hail the Bloody Demon! He will take the thrown and usher the world into a new age of darkness! HAHAHAHA!" Rising star said as he laughed uncontrollably.
"I see, so your one of Dasuc's followers than?" The warden asked.
"That's right! About a year ago a message was sent to us by our god to free him from his shackles and ascend! So we made plans to infiltrated the equestrian military and after a year of preparation we were ready! The only real hard part was putting up a good act for you fools to fall for." Rising star said giving an evil grin.
"You are a fool to fall for Dasuc's words, but I would be even more foolish to convince you otherwise." The warden said as his aura started to leak out of his body and he slowly began to grow, Suddenly two canine heads sprouted out from the warden's body and his normal head began to morph into another Canine head, His body began to morph as his arms and legs turned into paws and four muscle front and back legs.
"But it's far to late for that! For killing my men, I have no choice but to show you true terror!" A inhuman voice shouted from the still changing Warden. "PREPARE TO DIE! YOU LITTLE SHIT!!"
"I worship his blood! I worship his sin! I WORSHIP HIM! DASUC!!!" Rising star shouted as he slit his wrist and the blood covered his hand turned into a bloody red claw and charged right at the warden. Before his claw could even touch the warden it was bitten off by the left head of the Cerberus which was followed up by the right head chomping down on his left shoulder.
"My guess is your not very good with blood magic." The Cerberus said looking down at Rising star who was know in a physical state of panic. "Otherwise you would have healed those wounds of your's the minute you had enough blood for that claw." The beast said now biting harder on Rising stars right shoulder.
"So......this is the power of the Cerberus Huh?" Rising star manged to say chocking a bit on his own blood. "Got to admit I thought you'd look cooler. Piss off you damn mutt!" he said spiting at the Cerberus.
"Sorry to disappoint you. NOW DIE!" The Cerberus shouted as the middle head opened it's mouth and was able to fit Rising Star's head in his mouth and proceeded to bite down around his neck. As the Cerberus began to tug on Rising stars neck muffled screams could be heard from inside his mouth until the finally feel silent as The Cerberus turned his head which caused a loud snapping sound in Rising star's neck which caused his body to go limp.
"Are you done sir?" Poison said as he opened the door to the training room and saw his fellow guardsmen chopped to bits.
As the Cerberus let go of rising stars body he backed away and slowly began to shrink and after a few seconds the two canine heads shrunk back into the warden's body and he regained his normal form.
"Yes Poison I'm sorry for the gruesome show." The warden said straitening out his suit. "Ugh.....every time I transform a new wrinkle shows up on my suit" The warden looked up at Poison with a knowing look. "Well let's get the full report, though I don't think I'm gonna like what I hear."
"Right......well for starters the first, second, and third floors are in a state of completely chaos and riot's are sprouting everywhere. Shiyao was defeated on the first floor by Prison number 106791 Juzaro the Iron Giant who was just brought to Tartarus and about 42 E-class prisoner's have escaped as well as one F-class prisoner, and I guess you know who that is." Poison said looking at the warden with a serious expression.
"Damn you Dasuc! I can't believe we never thought of this, after that deal we made back then we thought that he finally had enough and wanted a way to die. How arrogant we were, I can't believe we were that stupid!" The warden said clenching his fists. "We need to capture all the escapees right away!"He said as he made his way to the door.
"Actually that's the thing." Poison said stopping the warden, "The Elevator was blown to bit's a few minutes ago, and taking the stairs isn't an option considering there are riots on three floors. As far as the escapees the badlands will claim them easily, but for Dasuc we know where he's heading." Poison said as he left the room and the warden started following him.
"So he's heading there?" The warden asked knowing that if Dasuc was heading there, he wouldn't stand a chance against the celestial knights.
"Yes sir, he's heading to the Sunset celebration in ponyville!" poison said with a serious expression only to get a large blush after saying the name of the town and face palming which caused the warden to chuckle slightly.
"BADLANDS"
Ten other inmates who were riding in a sand rider that they stole from some peddlers and were partying over there escape from Tartarus. Dasuc and Juzaro were walking along the Rider and were causally chatting about there plans now that they were free.
"So Juzaro were are you heading now? It's not like you can return to the capital." Dasuc said as he looked into the far reaching desert.
"No I have no choice but to return and finish what i started." Juzaro said still showing a serious expression from earlier.
"Are you ever going to explain that?" Dasuc asked with a raised eyebrow only for Juzaro to shake his head. "Oh well I guess I'l find out soon enough, But this is were we say goodbye." Dasuc said with a grin.
"Bloody Big Bro is leaving!" One of the inmates shouted to the other inmates who looked over in confusion.
"So your heading to ponyville I'm guessing?" Juzaro asked.
"Yes I'm going there to find the fighter I was promised twenty two years ago!" Dasuc said as he rapped a cloak around himself and started walking west.
"GOOD LUCK BIG BRO!" screamed the inmates raising there glasses to there savior who only waved his hand as he kept walking.
"I don't know what you're planing Dasuc, But it cant be good........whatever, his business is his own. I have my own score to settle."Juzaro climbed onto the Sand rider and laid down and closed his eye's and prepared for the trip ahead.
Dasuc on the other hand had a ear splitting grin on his face and was giddy with anticipation about his new opponent. "Finally the fight I was promised Twenty two years ago! It's time to make good on your promise Gawaine The White Dragon Slayer!"

Leaving Home (Hero perspective)
"Hey, old man can you tell us another one!" A small child asked.
"Hum......Ah, what the hell why not! Ge-hahaha!" The strange man said looking at the small circle of children that surrounded him. At first the group was very small, but as time went on the group grew to the point were even grown adult's were listening to the strange newcomer tell story's about his adventures.
"Well, old timer!" Shouted an older man from across the street holding his mug up to get his attention. "Tell us *hic* a real good one!" The man said with a hic-up that showed how drunk he was.
"Well, high expectations huh? What story should I tell?" The Strange man said rubbing his chin. "OH! I have the perfect story!" He said with a smile. "This is the story of a boy I meet a long time ago, It's been years since I've seen him, but he was very powerful! Ge-hahaha!" He said with his strange laugh.
This caught everyone's attention and they were all on the edge of their seat's to hear about this person and what he did that was so amazing.
"He had the strength to take down an army in a heart beat, He was fast enough to outrun even the fastest flyers, And most of all..." The strange man said listing this person's amazing feats, It had everyone completely blown away. "HE FARTED SO LOUD ONE TIME THAT HE ACTUALLY WOKE UP A DRAGON! GE-HAHAHAHA!" The strange man said with his laugh which caused everyone else to fall over in completely dumbfounded confusion.
"Badlands"
It was a normal day in the dry and empty badlands. Here there was hardly any rain and because of the harsh weather conditions there are hardly any settlers, The most you would find here are some bandits and maybe a few traveling merchants. However there is one rock formation that sticks out in the desert it, is nicknamed "The Watchers Tower" because there is a rumor that a demon watches you if you pass by there. The truth is there is more truth to that than people realize.
"Ugh.....why is it I have to tag along every time you have to go hunting?" Asked a Tiny girl who had a matching tiny beach umbrella and a sun mirror. "You hear me, Zeno? ZENO!" she said looking over at her companion who was snoring loudly.
The young man was around the age of 17 and had Bright red hair, he wore a muscle shirt that clung to his upper torso and showed his stomach. He also wore a pair of pure white baggy pants with bare feet.
"Honestly, How you sleep like that Is beyond me." She said as she got off her tiny foldable chair and snapped her fingers and all the item's she was using before vanished in a poof of pink smoke. Next she flew over to her sleeping friend and snapped her finger's again. Suddenly a frying pan appeared and landed right on Zeno's face which caused him to bolt forward holding his face to comfort the pain.
"OW! WHAT THE HECK RAMIE!" Zeno shouted getting in her face which only caused her to give him an odd look.
"What? You know that's the only way to wake you up sometime's." Ramie said putting her hands on her hip's.
"Jeez! You fairy's and you're magic." Zeno mumbled as rubbed his sleepy eye's. "Ok! now then let's get the meat and head back to the village!" He shouted getting to his feet and started doing stretches.
"Took you long enough! we've been here for an hour and a half now." Ramie said sweat dropping at her air-headed friend. "Honestly sometimes I worry about him."
"Detail's, Now let's get to work!" Zeno said jumping off the platform and fell straight to the ground with an explosion of desert sand, As Zeno got his footing he looked around the empty desert and waited.
After a few minutes of waiting there was a sudden rumbling under the desert sand, suddenly 3 large scaled Lizards rose from the sand. Each Lizard had a pale yellow color to blend into the desert sand, They had rows of razor-sharp teeth and claws that could tear into there pray easily.
Zeno cracked his knuckles and got a cheeky grin looking at the three hungry Beasts and licked his lips. "I know you're hungry and all, but I've got a village to feed here. And let's be totally honest here, do you really think you three can eat me?" He asked as he pointed at the trio of monsters.
The answer however was the largest of the beasts lunging at Zeno who jumped clean over the lizard and punched the beast in the neck which caused the beast spine to snap and hit the ground with a loud thud with it's eye's vacant of any life.
"Well can't say I didn't try." Zeno said brushing his hands.
As He turned around another Lizard launched forward with it's jaws wide open and tried to completely devour him. As its jaw's snapped closed Zeno used his hands to stop it from crushing him by grabbing it's teeth keeping the beasts jaws open. much to the surprise of the Giant Lizard who tried to apply more force only to feel it's body being lifted up and being tossed. Suddenly Zeno vanished from sight only to appear on top of the Lizard with his right leg lifted up.
"You know I really didn't want to get Violent, but you guy's don't get the hint!" Zeno said as he jumped from the Lizards back and started spinning.
"DRAGON STYLE: FALLING ANCHOR!" Zeno shouted as his foot made contact with the giant Lizard who was slammed back down into the desert with enough force to leave a sizable crater. As Zeno landed on the desert sand he looked at the last of the Lizards who was now fully aware that he didn't stand a chance, it then started digging into the desert sand till it vanished completely.
"Thank goodness! I didn't want three Desert Lizard's." Zeno said as he grabbed the Lizards tail and started dragging it out of the crater.
"Jeez Zeno, I almost feel bad for these guys, considering your freakish superhuman strength and all." Ramie said flying over to Zeno's said and sitting on his shoulder.
"But what's the deal? It looked like you really used your full strength on these guys today." She asked flying over to the Giant Desert Lizard.
"I don't know Ramie. I guess I'm a little tired of this routine, I mean the only real competition I've ever had was Locken and the old man. I really just want a challenge you know?" Zeno said as he leaned on the stomach of the desert Lizard, who let out a gurgle only for Zeno to slam his fist into its stomach silencing it.
"Come on Zeno we live in a secret oasis were or village has been for a thousand years. That isn't gonna change anytime soon." Ramie said getting in Zeno's face who only looked bored.
"Yeah, yeah, let's just get this back to the village." Zeno said as he pulled out a whistle and blew only for it not to make a sound. However in the far distance there was a trail of dust heading straight for the pair only to stop directly in front of them blowing sand all over them.
"Jeez! Rover maybe next time stop a little sooner! Ugh, I got sand in my suit." Ramie said trying to get the sand out of her Fairy outfit.
"It's what you get for wearing that thing. I mean come on Ramie it looks like a swimsuit." Zeno said giving his fairy companion a flat stair.
"HEY! IT'S NOT MY FAULT THE GRAND FAIRY DOESN'T HAVE ANY STYLE!" Ramie shouted which caused Zeno to hold his ears.
"Ok, ok Ramie....jeez, you know for a fairy you sure can be loud sometimes." Zeno said digging in his ear, which Ramie only puffed her cheeks and turned away. "Anyways.....Rover! mind helping us out here?" He asked looking at the Hugh Canine who already had the desert Lizards on his back.
"Whoops." Ramie said sweat dropping at the canine who waited patiently for the two to climb on board. As Zeno and Ramie hopped on his back they got comfortable and looked up at the calm desert sky.
"Do you ever think will see something beyond this desert sky Ramie?" Zeno asked as Rover started running back to the village.
"Listen, I know this is kind of dull for you and all seeing on how your so strong and adventurous and what not. " Ramie said trying to give her friend some hope for the future.
"But I don't think we need to go looking for adventure. Just give it time." Ramie said as she sat down on Zeno's chest.
Zeno only continued to look at the sky and slowly closed his eye's. 'I really hope so Ramie.'
"Desert oasis: Tergaron Village"
The secret Oasis is a legend where over a thousand years ago there was a group of traveling Demons who went to towns all over the equestrian nation and stole the souls of anyone who they saw. However thanks to Celestia the deity of the sun, the demons were sent to a secret oasis where they could never bother another village ever again. This secret oasis was named Tergaron and was rumored that any human who entered the demons domain who'd be eaten alive. The truth, however, is A LOT different.
"Hey everybody Zeno's back!" Shouted a young child who had horn's sprouting out of his head.
This caught everyone in the village's attention and they all raced to the center of town were two large desert Lizards were laying around. Zeno was talking with all the villagers who were thanking him for his hard work.
"What took you so long!" shouted one woman as she walked out from the crowd. She had emerald green hair and had three eyes that focused on the young man in front of her. She wore a simple dull colored dress and was wearing a solid apron.
"Sorry mom." Zeno said rubbing the back of his head. suddenly he was tackled to the ground by a small purple and gray blur. As Zeno opened his eye's he saw a small girl with tiny bat wings and purple hair that went down her back, and a small boy with dull grey hair and long pointy ears look up at him with big smiles.
"YO BIG BRO!" they said in unison as they gave their brother a big hug, Zeno only got up and pulled the two off and held each one by the collar and gave them a blank stare.
"Just because I'm your brother doesn't mean you can take more of the meat. It's for everyone in the village, you hear me?" Zeno said putting the two down as the stuck their tongues at him and ran off.
"You would think they would learn by now." came the voice of man a standing next to Zeno, which caused him to jump at his sudden appearance.
"Warn me next time you do that!" Zeno said looking at the man. He had dull shaggy hair with large almost comically oversized horns on his head. He was a very scrawny man with hardly any muscle at all, he also wore a red Red vest and brown shorts.
"why would I do that? It's not like I'm gonna do anything to my own son you know." Zeno's father said with a weak grin.
"Yeah, sure......" Zeno said looking at the man. After a few minutes of handing out food rations to the village, most of the desert Lizard meat was gone and everyone went back to their regular routines.
"Well, that's done." Ramie said resting on Zeno's shoulder. "what should we do for the rest of the day?" She asked looking around the village.
"Not sure really....... wanna look for Locken?" Zeno asked as he started walking down the street.
Before She could answer a one eyed man wearing a business suit ran up to Zeno breathing heavily showing that he probably ran all the way over.
"Excuse me mister Zeno, but the mayor would like to speak with you." The cyclops said after finally getting catching his breath.
"Really? Why?" Zeno asked giving him an odd look.
"I'm not sure myself, but it sounds really important!" The cyclops said waving his arms around. "Also miss Ramie I believe the Grand Fairy wants to speak with you as well." he said as he pulled out a tiny letter and handed it to the Fairy.
"Ok well I guess, well go see what's up then. Are they both at the head office?" Ramie asked.
"Yes, mam! They are waiting for the both of you." The cyclops said before taking a bow and started walking away.
The two only shrugged their shoulders and followed the man to the upper part of the village where the mayor's office was. When they finally made it the man open the door and held it open for the two.
"I'm not allowed inside while your talking with the mayor please go inside, They are in the office on the fourth door to the left." The cyclops said as he held the door open.
Zeno and Ramie went inside and went straight to the mayor's office and walked inside to see an older women sitting behind a desk waiting for the two to enter.
The fairy was sitting on the edge of her desk, he was a big guy for being a fairy and he had a flowing white beard with a simple loincloth.
"Good afternoon you two." the mayor said in a smooth voice looking at the young man in front of her. As Zeno closed the door he walked over and took a seat at one of the chairs that the mayor had in front of her desk and raised his eyebrow.
"So what's going on?" Zeno asked as he looked at the mayor in confusion.
"I get straight to the point, Zeno you know that you're different from everyone in the village correct?" The mayor asked as she pointed her cane at Zeno who pushed out of the way.
"Yeah.....I'm different because I'm a human." Zeno said raising an eyebrow to her question. "why does that matter?" he asked crossing his arms.
"It matters because.......or village is facing a crisis Zeno." The mayor said as she stood up from her seat and walked over to the window and looked at the villagers go about their daily routines.
"A crisis?" Ramie asked doubtfully. "Like what? I don't see anything different lately." she said pointing out into the street.
"The crisis hasn't been seen by the village yet, but I imagine it will fully sink in soon." The Grand fairy said slowly flying over to the two so they could both see him.
"Our village is located in an oasis hidden from the world with a magical spell that Celestia, the Princess of the sun put on this village one thousand years ago. However now the Oasis we have depended on for so long is drying up and our crops aren't coming in on time." The mayor said as she turned around and looked at the two with a serious expression.
"As a result people in the village are facing hunger strike's and business are starting to die out. Didn't you notice who many people were out at the market to get the supply's you brought back?" The grand fairy asked.
Zeno thought back to the town square where the villagers were lining up to get some of the Lizard meat he got earlier. "Now that you mention it there were a few more people than usual. Wait what does this mean?" Zeno asked as he started to realize the full situation.
"Ugh......in about two weeks the whole village will run out of the water from the oasis, and by the end of the month will run out of food. If the oasis dry's up then the magical barrier will vanish, leaving the whole village exposed to bandits and thieves." The mayor said as her face went pale as the thought of the village being destroyed.
Zeno and Ramie were completely dumbfounded at the information, the thought of their village that they grew up in being destroyed horrified them. Zeno was clenching his fists so hard that he was starting to bleed while Ramie could hold her hand over her mouth with fear in her face.
"I see you two understand the situation were in." The grand fairy said as he landed on the mayor's desk, which the mayor took her seat and looked at the two.
"ISN'T THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO! WE CANT JUST SIT HERE AND WAIT TO DIE!" Zeno shouted as he slammed his fist into the desk leaving an imprint, tears started welling up in his eyes which he quickly wiped away. "I grew up in this village..........it means everything to me! Everyone here took me in when I was just a baby, even though I was a human!" he said as he kept his face hidden.
The mayor could smile with pride at the young man. "I know and we were all a little against it before. However, you proved how much you love this village and everyone in it." The mayor said as she walked around and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Which is why we're asking you both to help us now." The grand fairy said looking at the Zeno and Ramie.
"What can we do?" Ramie asked now fully alert.
"Zeno is by far the strongest warrior in the village, and Ramie you have the most amount of experience outside the village." The mayor said as she walked back over to her desk and opened a drawer and pulling out a slip of paper with an odd symbol on it. "We need you two to travel to the capital of Equestria and give Princess Celestia this paper and tell her what's happening here. Maybe then she can find a way to save our village." she said passing the paper to Zeno.
"The capital? were's that?" Zeno asked holding the paper in his hand looking it over.
"Canterlot, that is the capital. It's east from here once you reach The Watchers Rock." The grand fairy said stroking his beard.
"But I've heard word recently that the princess will be heading to a town for some kind of celebration. It's not far from the capital and it would be easier to head there first." he said as he snapped his fingers and a map of Equestria appeared in front of the two and then shrank to be given to Ramie.
"Oh, I see it now! You marked it in red right Grand fairy?" Ramie asked looking at her elder who only nodded his head.
"This map is enchanted with an ability to show you a straight path to the town." The grand fairy said as he looked at Zeno with a stern expression. "Zeno are you willing to take on this responsibility? This isn't gonna be like your trips into the Badlands, are you sure your ready?" He asked as Zeno stood up with a determined look on his face.
"You know me guys! I hate to lose! There's no way in hell I'll fail! I'll save the village no matter what!" Zeno shouted as he cracked his knuckles.
"Thank you Zeno........this village.......is forever in your debt." The mayor said as she bowed to Zeno who could only laugh which startled her.
"Don't sweat it! But....... I never said I was doing this for free." Zeno said with a cheeky grin which Ramie flew up and rested on his shoulder copying his expression.
"We do this......You have to give us whatever we want no questions about it. Sound good?" Ramie said giving off a weird aura and started chuckling.
The mayor could only start laughing at the two. "If you do this then you can have whatever you want." She said between her laughing fit. "And here I thought he had a Heart of Gold. Ha!"
"Alright, Ramie!" Zeno said throwing his fist in the air. "LET'S GO ON A ADVENTURE!!" He shouted as he bolted out the door and down the street with Ramie right behind him.
"Do you think he'll be ok?" The mayor asked watching the two.
"All I can say is that they have a long journey ahead of them." The grand fairy said copying the mayor and watched one of his little fairy's fly around with the young man.
"Honestly if Gawain hadn't brought that kid here We probably would facing a real problem right now." The mayor said as she sat at her desk and picked up and an old photo of her when she was younger with a white-haired man with a big grin on his face giving a thumbs up.
"It's all up to fate now. Let's hope for the best." she said laying the picture down.
"Zeno's house"
Zeno took half and hour to explain to his folks that he would be leaving for the big world to find this Celestia, and from their expression on their faces they were less than pleased.
"So now you have to go Find this princess to help save the Village?" Mom asked as she crossed her arms.
"Hey, Keri what's a Princess?" Zeno's little brother asked Keri, Zeno's little sister.
"Ugh, honestly Lu I thought you would know that at least." Keri said as she and Lu got into a conversation on what constitutes a princess, Zeno's mother, on the other hand, was getting pissed.
"Now honey there's no need to get angry." Dad said trying to keep his wife calm.
"NOT NOW!"Mom said slamming her fist on the table which scared pretty much everyone in the house.
"what are we gonna do with you gone. Honestly why you? I mean I get that you're stronger than everyone in the village, but still......" she trailed off as she looked at Zeno and Ramie.
"well, there isn't much of a point in trying to stop him now." Dad said as he put a hand on his wife's shoulder and looked at Zeno with his weak smile. "Your gonna go whether we agree or not right?" he asked as everyone was focused on him.
"All my life I've lived in this village. I love everyone in it, there's no way I could stand back and watch as it falls apart!" Zeno said clinching his fists.
"Then that's, that! You're heading out right away right?" Dad asked with a knowing smile which Zeno's only response was a nod. "Then get going!" He said as Zeno ran to his room to pack as Lu and Kari followed him.
"I could have handled that." Mom said not looking at her husband who could only straighten his glasses.
"You and I both knew that someday he would want to go see the world, who are we to keep him away from that." Dad said watching as Zeno was talking to his siblings.
As Zeno packed his bag full of the things he would need Keri and Lu were waiting outside his door with worried expressions, Zeno seeing them turned around and got on one knee to be on their level gave both of them a hug.
"Were are you going?" Kari asked looking at Zeno.
"When are you coming back?" Lu asked with a few tears in his eyes.
Zeno gave the two off them a warm smile and proceeded to hold the both of them by their cheeks........ and then slammed them together, which caused the two to fall over holding their heads.
"Listen that crap may work on those guys in the village but I'm your brother! I'm not gonna fall for that, you two just want me to bring back some snacks for Lu and some souvenirs for you Keri, am I right?" Zeno asked with a less than amused expression.
"Damn He saw through us!" Lu said as he scrambled to his feet.
"Well if your acting didn't suck so much, maybe he wouldn't have caught on so quickly!" Kari said grinding her teeth together.
"Listen you two." Zeno said grabbing their attention. "I need the two of you to look over the town while I'm gone. Locken is gonna do the hunting, but I need you guys to make sure he doesn't get a big head over it, Ok?" Zeno said as he stood up and walked over to the door.
"You can count on us!" The two said in unison as they clicked their heels together while giving a solute.
"Glad to hear soldiers."Zeno said as he made his way downstairs. As he gave his parents one last goodbye Zeno walked over to the door and took a deep breath and opened the door.
"Ok..........LET'S GOOOOOO!!!" Zeno shouted as Ramie followed behind him as they ran out of the house and towards the village entrance.
"9 Hours later"
The Badlands are a place of constant danger, There are giant scorpions, Desert Lizards, Sand serpents, Bandits, and all kinds of things that would love to see people dead. However the most dangerous of all these things is dehydration, This is the most common thing many who try and cross this desert face as a problem. Nowhere is this truer than with the two trying to cross the desert right now.
"WHAT DO MEAN THERE'S NO WATER LEFT!!!" Zeno shouted as felt the sun beating down on him.
"I MEAN THERE'S NONE LEFT!! IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU TRYING TO RUN THE HOLE WAY THERE, WE WOULDN'T BE HERE RIGHT NOW!" Ramie shouted as she two was starting to feel the sun fry her little brain.
"IT'S SO EASY TO BLAME SOMEBODY ELSE ISN'T IT!" Zeno shouted as he got up in Ramie's face.
"WELL IF THE SHOE FITS!!!!!!!" Ramie shouted copying Zeno and the two started pushing each other back and forth.
However unknown by Zeno and Ramie, in the distance a small Desert rider was approaching the two and from the sound of things they were shouting as well.
"DAMMIT!!! SAND SHARKS!!" screamed one of the men as their sand sled was being chased down by a school of sand sharks.
"HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN!!!" Screamed another man as he got into the fetal position.
"HELP US IRON BRO!!!" screamed the group as they were about to be eaten.
"Ugh.......Should we help them?" Zeno asked looking at the group sail around in circles.
"Probably. If only to shut them UP!!!!!" Ramie said as she folded her arms.
Zeno started sprinting toward the Sand sled and jumped up and was directly on top of the Colony of Sand sharks. Zeno brought both of his fists up and started punching in rapid succession to the point where his punches started moving so fast that it started to look like a blur.
"DRAGON STYLE: RAMPAGE!!!!" Zeno shouted as he let an entire sea of fists come raining down on the sand sharks destroying them.
"There it's over will you guys STOP SCREAMING!!" Zeno shouted. As the men in front of him were
'After 45 minutes'
"CHEERS!"Zeno and the group of men from before cheered as they slammed their Cider down.
"Man kidI can't believe you beat a whole school of sand sharks!" one of the men said as he took a bite of meat from the spread in front of everyone.
"That was nothing! Hahaha!" Zeno said as he and the rest of the group of strangers laughed and cheered. Ramie, on the other hand, was glaring daggers at Zeno.
'I can't believe that idiot! We just met these people and he's acting all buddy-buddy with them!' Ramie clenched her fist just waiting for Zeno to turn around so she could slug him only for a much larger man to get up out of the corner of the Sand sled and sit right next to Zeno.
"Yo Iron bro it's about time you woke up! where were you earlier Huh!?" one of the men shouted at the large man.
As Zeno got a better look at him he could see that he was much bigger than him. he had no hair to speak of and Gunmetal gray eye's that pierced right through him.
"Who's the kid?" The large man asked glaring at Zeno.
Zeno could only laugh and give a cocky smile."My names Zeno!" He said as he gave a thumb's up.
"Zeno huh? Well, judging by how you were able to defeat a magic beast like a Sand shark could only mean you're very strong." The large man said, picking up a mug of cider.
"Yup! I'm stronger than anyone else in my village!" Zeno said puffing his chest out.
"And what village is that?" The large man asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"Tergaron Village." Zeno said as he went back to the food.
The large man's pupils shrank after hearing were this strange kid came from. The other men didn't seem to notice and they went back to their party.
The large man took a second to collect his thoughts and looked over to Zeno with a focused stare."Juzaro is my name." he said.
"So where are you heading kid?" One of the men asked as the others stopped there drinking.
"well I--OWOWOW!" Zeno said before Ramie pulled him to the side.
"Listen to me you moron! I really don't wanna burst your bubble! But these guys are bad news!" Ramie said trying to keep the others from hearing her.
"Come on Ramie! what's the worst that can happen?" Zeno said as he walked back to the group. Ramie could only facepalm at Zeno's lack of common sense.
"Well were heading east of here to a little town where we are looking for someone important. So if you wouldn't mind could you guys take me and my friend as close as you can to the town it would be a huge help!" Zeno said, with a grin.
"The town you're heading to, It wouldn't happen to be Ponyville would it." Juzaro said catching Zeno's attention.
"Yup That's the one!" Zeno said as the rest of the groups jaws dropped.
"WHAT!!!!" They screamed in unison.
