The cakes(who had taken him in out of the kindness of their hearts with the condition that he would work the night shift(changelings are nocturnal in this story too.)). Corrupt sat on a stool with pinkie pie who was planning a party for scootaloo whose birthday was coming up soon. Pinkie pie looks up at Corrupt and says "Hey corrupt what flavor should scootaloos' cake be?" Being a changeling corrupt could not speak w/out his translator (which he had misplaced). All corrupt could say at the moment was levitate his glasses on and "hiss" pinkie pie replied "oh right silly! i forgot i borrowed your translator! let me go get it for you". pinkie pie gets up and leaves the room. "Sheesh". Corrupt thought. "Ponies call me the freak. Well At least she's nice to me so i guess i will do the same. We are "family" i guess." Just then corrupt heard a small groan from behind him. Corrupt turns around and sees pound cake looking sleepily at him. corrupt gets a confused expression as he walks over and thinks "what are you doing awake pound?" Pound rubbing his eyes softly says "I cant sweep I had a buh-bad dweam". Corrupt gives him a look that is mixture of pity and apology. Corrupt gestures for pound to come sit with him. Pound takes the invitation. Pinkie pie walks in with a tub of icing and says in a cheerful tone "Pound cake we are gonna make sure that you will not go to sleep tonight!" Pound looking curiously at the tub says "Auntie pinkie? Wha-whats with tha-!?" Just then pinkie pie jams a spoonful of icing into pounds mouth and instantly he puts out this ray of pure happiness(and sugar rush) . "Wow!! th-that stuh-stuff is good!" pound cake says. "I know right." pinkie pie says offering a spoonful to corrupt who cautiously takes it. "Wha-wha--what flavor is that?" pound asks "Cherry vanilla lime cola!" pinkie pie replies "It's my own recipe. The main ingredient is 2 bags of sugar (exaggerated whisper) "IT'S A SECRET " She proudly announces. "pinkie pie" says carrot cake who awoke from all the noise. "No offense but that sounds like heart attack and diabetes had a child." "I know" pinkie replied "But it tastes wonderfully super duper yummy in our tummies!!!" Pinkie pie said in a silly-song voice as music seemed to come out of nowhere. "where does that music come from pinkie pie? Asked Cupcake. "Heck if i knooooooow!" pinkie pie sang as she bounced around the room. "Auntie pinkie pie the others are tw tw twying to suh-sleep". Pound cake said in a sullen tone with his broken english. "Oopsie daisies!" Pinkie pie said in a loud tone. Corrupt hissed at her and she seemed to get the message. "oopsies sorry everypony" pinkie pie said. "Hey! i gotta great and fun idea!" "What? asked pound and corrupt in unison. "Ok we need to get outside with all of the frosting and glazes." "Pinkie pie" carrot said, "What are you up to? "You'll see!" pinkie pie says cheerfully leaving the room momentarily and then hopping back with her party cannon(and gummy hanging off of her mane). Corrupt let out a long sigh. "I come all the way to ponyville and relinquish the sanctity of my hive for this? Being a baker? And all for what. Some lousy bits?". (end of chapter one).

Carrot Cake jumped about 11 feet off of the ground and latched on to a tree branch. Corrupt put his wings around Pound trying to save him from whatever that explosion was and Pound just sat frozen in fear. "Hahahahahaha!" Pinkie pie laughed "You should see the looks on your faces!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!" "Pinkamena Diane Pie!!!!!" Yelled carrot cake. "How did you know my real name?" pinkie asked quivering. "Your mother told me! she also told me to call you that when you are in trouble!" carrot said "Oh please" intervened corrupt "Lets just go to bed before anything else happens". "your probably right corrupt" said carrot. "G'night love you all" said pinkie dashing To her room. "What a night." said carrot. "Well lets get to bed shall we?" Morning came and no pony came in at night (as corrupt suspected) and just as corrupt was gonna clock out *ring*. He turns and sees the most interesting creature is standing in front of him the figure has a sharp black and cut mane a chestful of puffy hair. A red tail bald except for the tip which had a tuft of black hair a white sleek body.(kilala97 owns illusion and I do not claim him as mine) Corrupt then recognizes the figure as prince illusion. "Your majesty!!! Please forgive me! I was so foolish for not recognizing you! I ask for your forgiveness". "No!!! Please get up I am sick and tired of ponies treating me like a god which i guess is sort of true but please I just want to be treated like a normal pony for once." illusion said. "Oh i'm sorry pri- I mean illusion." corrupt said "So kind changeling what is your name if I may ask?" illusion said. "Wha-me? oh please you don't want to know MY name i'm just a stupid worthless changeling who can't do anything right".(I have depression and low self-esteem in real life) "Whoa hay calm down that's not what I meant." Illusion said defensively "It's true isn't it? and by the way it's corrupt." asked corrupt. "No it's not you seem kinda cool corrupt and I think this is the start of an awesome friendship. Maybe we could hang out sometime soon?" "Sure I guess" corrupt said. "And i'm sorry for snapping at you I just don't feel good about who I am and what my kind has done" "Oh well what's done is done. It's in the past just forget it Mr. cake!" Illusion said cheerfully. "Mr Cake is my father. Why are you being so formal Illusion?" Asked corrupt? "Well I sort of have to. Even though I just want to be treated like a normal pony." Illusion said sadly. "Heh". Corrupt snorted "You and me both illusion." "Oh i want you to meet a very special friend of mine" Illusion said. As the season changed and corrupt could feel it getting colder (i count changelings as cold blooded i do not actually know so sorry if i'm wrong) corrupt and illusion and mocha and claire started walking around looking for hearts warming eve decorations when all of a sudden corrupt cake gets tackled to the ground. everypony's first reaction is to freak out because changelings are feared (as seen in season 5 although they are accepted) everypony looks back and they see another changeling hugging corrupt. "Who are you and why are you hugging my coltfriend?" asks mocha. "oh i'm sorry its just so good to see another changeling after so long!" the changeling said "Ahem my name is christmas speck i am sorry if i hurt you corrupt" "How are you talking might i ask?" asks illusion. "Oh my friend casted a spell on me and the effects are permanent" Christmas said. "Oh that is something. Claire said softly. "Do you think you could do the same for our friend here?" "Uh the thing is its really complex and i don't know how to do it i'm so sorry." christmas said. Corrupt made a small little noise that sounded like a kiss being blown directed toward mocha. "Oh rupty you always say the most romantic things". Mocha cooed Corrupt blushed. "Aw how sweet" claire said "they really are a cute couple." "Ok enough love talk i'm stuffed". said Christmas They all looked confused at him (Excluding corrupt) . *SIGH "Changelings feed off of love" he said.
