[Authors note this is making a pun to this story when i talk about twidash Flying high,Falling Hard

It was noon in ponyville and twilight was getting ready to close up shop so she could go grab a bite with the fastest flyer in all of equestria rainbow dash.

She heard a knock on the door of the library assuming it was rainbow she went to open the door and she found it wasn't rainbow dash but another friend of hers icy blue a pegusus who was well a light shade of blue not cyan like rainbow but close he had a dark blue mane and a goofy expression on his face.

"Hi Icy what are you doing here"twilight asked truly wondering why he had come by the library when it said closed.

"Well i talked to rainbow dash earlier and she said clear skies tonight so i was gonna ask if you wanted to go stargazing with me"

Twilight thought about it her and rainbow didn't have anything planed for tonight and he was just a friend no harm....right?

"hmmm yea sure"she had decided she would go icy was pretty smart she had never thought him the type to go stargazing,

"alright i'll come by the library later is that good?"he seemed nervous was he always this way around mares?

He walked off and twilight closed the door stargazing she remembered what happened last time she went stargazing with rainbow dash she ended up getting together but this was icy anyway dash should be here any minute she better get ready.

"Alright i must go tell Clay about this wait no he's off in canterlot to go to that goddesszilla thing,Johnny went to help fluttershy so that leaves dawn well scootaloo went with clay so i'll go talk to dawn about this"he thought to himself walking towards the only place he would be sugarcube corner.

As he arrived at sugarcube corner he wondered if he should get something for tonight like a apple pie or maybe one of those rascherryanamato's pinkies keep's going on about it sounded weird so he probably wouldn't get that.

He went inside to be welcomed by fresh smell's of sugar cookies icing and......fire he rushed back into the kitchen where pinkie was putting out a fire that came from the oven and there beside her apologizing probably a hundred time was dawnflight.

"Dawn come here"icy said he obeyed ears back head down.

"what did you do"icy asked him hoping he didn't do too much damage here.

"pinkie told me i should try to make cookies and she helped me up until time to put them in the oven as soon as i put them in poof it was-"he was cut off by pinkie saying giggling"a inferno"

"yea"dawn said lowering his ears once again"sorry bout that"

"for the two hundred and fifty eighth time it was just a small fire"pinkie said starting to get annoyed.

"dawn i have to tell you something follow me to sweet apple acres"icy said gesturing towards the door

"-And then he asked me if i wanted to go stargazing"Twilight said talking to rainbow dash

"ohh taking one from the best so you said no right?"rainbow dash said giving twilight a look of trust

"no you and me aren't doing anything tonight and besides he if just a friend rainbow you don't have to-"she was cut off

"yea i was just a friend to twilight then i asked you to go stargazing and now we are together now he will think he got somewhere with you and keep bothering you just promise me you won't let him get to you"dash said and twilight gave her a glare.

"You think i would just throw are relationship away who do think i am dash i love you and trust you but i can now see you don't trust me to go on one simple...to have on night of stargazing with a friend""twilight said half way through she had to stop herself from saying date Just walk away twi don't fight rainbow it will only end it tears.

Twilight listened to her voice got up and went back to the library setting the sign to closed going up to her room telling spike to go sleep on the couch then laying down on her bed thinking about how dash didn't trust her and how dash would let her interact with anyone else without getting suspension that she was gonna cheat on her.

What would celestia do she thought starting to notice the tear that formed in her eyes from rainbow's words.

"what should i do if i go i could hurt rainbow if i don't go i could hurt icy"she said she decided she would get some sleep before tonight maybe she could decide then.

Icy and dawn arrived at sweet apple acres right as icy was finishing the tale of him asking twilight to go stargazing.

"and then she said yea she would go"icy said looking at dawn.

"so now what i mean why are we at sweet apple acres?"dawn asked

"oh i need to make tonight good if i am going to go stargazing with her"icy said

"are you going to ask her out?"asked dawn questioning the part about a good night

"WHAT no by luna dawn are you insane i know when a girl is out of my league a twilight way out of my league"he said looking

at dawn as if he was a insane lunatic who had just escaped the dicorded wing of the canterlot insane asylum.

"Uhuh well we are here"said dawn looking at the front door of applejacks house he knocked on the door.

Applejack answered with a smile "hey there icy and dawnflight what brings you to sweet apple acres?"she asked

"well we were hoping you could um-"dawn cut him off

"he's going stargazing tonight with twilight and he wanted to know if you could make him a apple pie to take with"dawn looked at icy with a look which was supposed to mean Next time just say it.

"well actually i just made a apple pie i was going to go see if rainbow needed it for twilight but it seem twilight is busy tonight so you can take it icy"she said winking at him she thought he was gonna ask i had been well known applejack never supported twilight and dash she was hoping icy would ask twilight out.

They took the pie and left along the way icy had looked at dawn and asked

"why does everypony think i am going to ask out twilight" the only reply that dawn had was a shrug.

They eventually got back to sugarcube corner where dawnflight said he had to get going before the cakes got home and seen that dawn had left pinkie to clean up the mess.

He flew up to his cloud home waiting for the right time to go to the library.
