STARLIGHT-Icy heart

It was about six in the afternoon when icy decided to fly by the library not forgetting the pie applejack gave him he set out to get twilight.From there he would take her to a field he had found by sweet apple acres they would have a great night and no matter what anypony said he didn't like twilight in any way more than friends he wished everypony would stop thinking that he just wanted to go stargazing with a friend.

He arrived and knocked on the door he heard from inside"I'll be right there icy" a minute later she opened up the door to see icy standing there a goof grin on his face she smiled back at him before she turned in locked the door to the library with magic.

"you ready to go"icy asked

"Yea so where are we going?"she asked

"oh just a place i found near sweet apple acres it is a clearing and i great view of the stars"he said smiling

"sounds wonderful icy"twilight looked up at the skies wondering how rainbow was right now she didn't want her to go on this was this a.....date.

No it was icy he knew rainbow and her were together he didn't have the wrong thoughts did he?

They arrived at the clearing there was a great view of the stars it seemed like a good place to go stargazing and icy was right the sky had no clouds.

"alright i'll get the stuff from the bags"icy said twilight hadn't noticed he brought a saddle bag she watched as he brought out a apple pie the same type

rainbow brought when she asked twilight out well actually it wasn't really a asking out more like a invasion of twilights personal space.

icy looked at her confusion "Are you alright twilight?" he asked.

She looked at him and forgetting who he was she said"Yea dash im-"Her eye's went wide realizing what she just said to him.

"Dash? um twilight i am icy blue remember"he looked at her as if she lost her ever loving mind.

"what sorry i was just thinking about-"He lifted a hoof to quite her and he nodded meaning he understood she was thinking about rainbow dash.

"it's okay twilight i rather you think about rainbow actually"icy said seeing her reaction which was shock"Everypony thinks i am here to ask you out"

"Really wow so you aren't here to ask me out"twilight asked looking at him.

"HAY no your my friend and plus i know about you and dash everypony knows about you dating a wonderbolt"he said laughing.

"Phew rainbow dash was SO worried that you would try and ask me out now i can tell her it was just fine"twilight said looking at icy.

"no twilight i just ask you here as a friend hasn't applejack or rarity or even fluttershy once asked you"icy asked

"No rarity is canterlot designing for the princess,fluttershy became a vet and applejack isn't the type to ask something like that"twilight said looking down.

"what's the matter"icy put a hoof on twilight's shoulder as she started to cry.

"i i i'm s sorry it's just rainbow is always away due to the wonderbolt's rarity is always in canterlot whenever i go to see fluttershy she is always busy taking care of the animals and spike i don't know i told you but he went into a hundred year sleep to grow up only pinkie and applejack are really still here in ponyville"twilight said leaning against icy.

Icy didn't know what he was supposed to say so he said nothing he let her cry putting a arm around her and staying silent.

Rainbow dash was flying over las pegusus since it was the fastest way to canterlot she had to get back to the wonderbolts

ASAP or else she could be late for practice which isn't good spitfire isn't so nice in the morning.

"Rainbow dash why are you flying towards canterlot"Said a voice beside her it was scootaloo.

"Because i have wonderbolt practice"she said

"OH i thought you were going to help on the search for prince blue blood"scootaloo said frowning

"What what happened to him"Rainbow dash stopped and hovered

"He disappeared after going into rarity's shop but they searched there nothing but a bunch of grape juice oh well i don't know see ya around dash"said scootaloo flying down and landing beside claymine and rarity both probably did something in canterlot both were probably trying to escape.

"So now wha do i do i can't get anymore bored than i am right now"said applejack on the porch of the barn at sweet apple acres she let out a sigh and then remembered that there was the clearing maybe she could go watch the stars there.

when icy came by that sounded like a great idea she decided it was a good idea.

"Big Mac i'm heading to that clearing i told you about"applejack said getting up and galloping towards the clearing.

When she arrived at the clearing she saw icy hugging twilight who was crying in his arms she didn't know what was going on but it didn't look like he was asking her out.The pie she gave him remained untouched just sitting there applejack leaned against a tree and a twig snapped.twilight got up quickly casting a light charm at the noise.

"applejack it's just you"twilight sighed as applejack came out of the woods.

"how long have you been there"icy asked wondering if she had been there the entire time.

"just got here what are you crying about twi?"applejack said turning to twilight

"it's nothing applejack just don't worry"twilight said producing a smile that was obviously faked.

"Alright sugarcube i better leave you two alone"she said starting to go into the trees again when twilight said.

"no stay i'll tell you only though if you can keep a secret"twilight said applejack nodded and sat by twilight.

Twilight turned to applejack and said"I don't love rainbow dash anymore"
