Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, there was a Princess named Twilight Sparkle, and an evil pink balloon pony entered Ponyville and trapped everypony in balloons. That angered the Princess and a battle broke loose in the usually happy town of Ponyville….POP!!!! "Oops," Says the author, "I think I just popped my birthday balloon."

Wait, that doesn't sound right….

It was just another day in Ponyville, and Twilight was bored out of her mind. She flipped through spell books and regular books, she called up friends and ate chips, she surfed the channels and the web…but of course, Ponyville doesn't stay boring all the time. And before she knows it, she has to battle a giant Pinkie Pie made of balloons who traps everypony in balloons! Well, maybe this Pinkie Balloon Pie character isn't so evil as everypony thinks. Maybe. We don't know yet, but maybe she's just super annoying and weird and is just craving some friends? I mean, how many friends does a balloon have? Especially if she traps everypony in balloons and– well…you get the point, so let's just get on to the story.
