Cutie Mark Chronicles

Vinyl Scratch was a beautiful mare even when she was a blank-flank. Her mother, Jemma, was an unicorn painter and her father, Minon Scratch, was an earth pony DJ, often nicknamed as DJ Wubs. Vinyl had her ruffling mane and coat color from her father and the color of the mane and eyes from her mother.

One night, some loud music woke Vinyl up. She cautiously got out of her bed and stepped to the direction of the sound. The music was too loud so she putted on her headphones. When she opened the door, Minon was playing music.

"Dad! Why are you playing loud music at about 1 AM?!" the young unicorn asked.

"Honey, I love music! And please don't call me dad!" the earth pony replied.

"Stop this music! NOW!" Vinyl commanded.

She stepped out and Minon gasped in shock.

"It was you..." he said. Vinyl stepped closer and her father hugged her. "I was just wondering if you want to play some music..."

"Of course I want!" Vinyl replied.

The two made great music. Two music notes appeared on Vinyl's flank.

"Great job!" Minon said, hugging his daughter again.
