Dante is by no means an ordinary pony. Unless, that is, killing demons to make a living and spending the rest of the time eating pizza and making witty comebacks is your definition of "normal", in which case he is perfectly normal. But for many, Dante's life would be one that you'd only believe existed in awful fan fictions written by teenagers.

So how could an abnormal life somehow become any more abnormal? The answer to that would be provoking the wrath of a particularly powerful devil, and thus endangering the lives of many ponies, particularly one who, due to a series of increasingly alarming events, was dragged into his world. However, this is Dante we are talking about. This is a pony who takes this in his stride - heck, a pony who kills demons day in, day out should be able to take on a few more, right?
