The morning of Hearth’s Warming Day was full of foals opening presents and being with family members. It didn’t take long. An explosion and an alert royal guard sounded the alarm. Equestria’s emergency alarm went off, the horn blasted the deafening emergency tone. Danger was here. The coup was launched. Betrayal from the reformed villains was expected.

King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis, and Tirek attacked the Canterlot Castle hellbent on destroying the alicorns once and for all. The epic battle was about to begin. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were the first to arrive with Princess Twilight and her friends arriving shortly later. Trixie and Discord were with them.

The epic battle known as Doomageddon had begun.
