Rainbow Heart 3

Night Wish knew they would need Rainbow Heart’s help if they were gonna stop this. She entered the deep restricted area of the Canterlot Castle. A dark locked room was her destination. She unlocked the door and walked in. In the center of the dark room was a cage wrapped in barbed wire. His hooves and neck were chained by metal shackles. Celestia had put a horse blinder on him to restrict his vision, along with a muzzle to limit his mouth movement, a horn cover to prevent magic from being used, a harness to keep his wings locked together against his body, and they were all connected to each other.

“Rainbow Heart?” Night Wish asked.

Rainbow Moon looked behind him the best he could not being able to get direct eye contact and replied, “You know that I no longer go by that name. My name is Rainbow Moon.”

“Equestria needs your help. It will be destroyed with out it.” Night Wish stated.

Rainbow Moon said, “Nothing can save Equestria, I have come to that conclusion. It seems we were all meant to suffer…Besides, I am stuck here. Probably for the best.”

The siren still sounded. With an impact to the structure, dust and rocks fell from the walls.

“From the sounds of it, Equestrians aren’t doing so well.” Rainbow Moon informed. “They will be destroyed.”

“After the villains destroy them, they will come for you.” Night Wish informed.

“Maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to be.” Rainbow Moon said.

Night Wish asked, “Don’t you care? I can help you get back on good terms with everypony. If I release you you must help the others and I will help you become accepted by Princess Celestia and Luna under Luna’s wing of protection.”

Rainbow Moon said, “That’s as good as a wink to a blind horse. It’s meaningless. It’s all over for me. End Game. Game Over. The End. Fin. Nothing I do will convince them my intentions were true, pure, and necessary.”

Night Wish asked, “Do you still trust me as a friend?”

Rainbow Moon remained silent.

“I don’t know. How can you possibly still trust me as a friend?” Rainbow Moon stated.

“Because I remember the old you. And all of the things you did to help everyone else, including me.” Night Wish barked.

Night Wish came around so we could see eye to eye.

“Help the others. I promise I will ensure that your status is returned to normal under Princess Luna’s protection.” Night Wish.

“Free me.” Rainbow Moon declared.

Rainbow Moon was freed by Night Wish.
