Rainbow Heart 3

The season was in full swing. Snow fell like rain carpeting Equestria in a sheet of white with ice accenting the natural beauty of the seasonal changes. Phase two of the scheme was about to begin.

Princess Celestia was in the Canterlot Castle in her throne room. All of a sudden a fog rolled into the chamber. She immediately knew something was up and had a pretty good idea who it was. Out of the smoke I appeared in form.

Celestia sprung up from her throne and barked, “Guards!”

Three members of the solar guard attacked me. I summoned rainbow tentacles to restrain them.

“Spare me the pleasantries, princess.” I stated and added, “I’m not here for violence. I am here for the salvation of Equestria. I come in peace.”

“What do you want, Rainbow Moon?” Celestia ordered.

“I seek the creature known as Discord.” I said. “Where might I find him?”

Celestia with authority stated, “So you can do to him what you did to the others. I don’t think so. Discord has changed, he does not deserve the punishment you inflicted upon the other villains.”

“Oh, well. If you won’t bring him to me, then I’ll have to get him to come to me. I’m pretty sure I know one pony who he would come for,” I commented.

I disappeared into a rainbow portal, vanishing. The tentacles receded back into the holes they came from untangling the royal guards.

Celestia ordered the guards, “Find Discord and bring him to me. Now!”

The guards scattered.

I was sitting on a wooden chair talking with Fluttershy in her hut having tea when Discord appeared out of nowhere. Obviously, he was concerned and rode in on a white horse. There was no doubt in my mind that Princess Celestia had filled his mind with the notion that I was gonna go after Discord and Princess Luna who used to be Nightmare Moon in the same way I went after Sombra, Chrysalis, and Tirek, but nothing was further from the truth. Celestia probably also informed Discord that since she wouldn’t help me find him then I would find his loved ones and go after them until he finds me. Celestia had no doubt informed Discord who responded to Fluttershy’s hut. It was just a friendly meeting with her, just as planned, even though she knew who I was and what I did.

“Ah, Discord, my friend, there you are in the flesh.” I stated.

Discord, upset and ready to take me on, informed, “Fluttershy is my only friend. Celestia wants you incarcerated.”

Fluttershy stated, “Oh, its ok, Discord. I’m okay. Although when Rainbow Moon first appeared from a fog, I was scared, but he just wanted to talk to me.”

Discord asked, “Are you sure you’re ok, Fluttershy?”

“I’ve never been better.” Fluttershy replied. “As a matter of fact, he’s been telling me all about his plan. That’s what we were talking about. I don’t really agree with it, but you should hear him out It’s quite fascinating, but scary.”

Discord eyeballed me and said, “Ok, Rainbow Moon. You wanted this meeting. What is it?”

I stated, “I am here to discuss business with you and the salvation of Equestria.” I slyly added approaching him, “I don’t suppose you’ve ever heard of the Elements of Disharmony?”

Discord inquired, “Elements of Disharmony?”

I said, “I didn’t think so.” I continued, “There’s a counterbalance to everything in nature. So, if there are Elements of Harmony to cause peace, then there are, theoretically, hypothetically Elements of Disharmony to cause disaster, doom, and war.”

I paused for a moment and Discord added, “I’m listening.”

I informed, “You see the Elements of Harmony have opposites to them. Just like the Elements of Harmony, there are six Elements of Disharmony. Fluttershy, here, represents the Element of Kindness. So it’s inverse would be the Element of Hatred like Tirek. Rarity who represents the Element of Generosity, Queen Chrysalis is ideally the representation of the Element of Selfishness its opposite. If Pinkie Pie is the Element of Laughter or comedy, then the counter element would be of Tragedy, or in other words, the sadness and depression as represented by King Sombra for the pain he inflicted on other ponies. Applejack is the Element of Honesty, so it’s negative is the Element of Lies who is identified though Trixie who was reformed. Rainbow Dash is the Element of Loyalty, so its opposite is the Element of Betrayal as referenced to Nightmare Moon or as everypony calls her now Princess Luna, she was also reformed. The Element of Chaos equates to the Element of Magic, you. Have I wetted your appetite yet?”

Fluttershy inquired, “But wouldn’t the Elements of Disharmony destroy Equestria, especially when they battle with the Element of Harmony bearers?”

I added, “Not if all the bearers were reformed villains who pledge their loyalty to Princess Celestia and the protection of Equestria.”

Discord, knowing what I did the past six weeks, asked, “What about, Sombra, Chrysalis, and Tirek? What happened with them?”

I informed, “Oh, that. Some creatures need to discover the errors of their ways by a more radical process than the simple reforming that Trixie, Princess Luna, and yourself were exposed to. They cling to their evil and needed to be broken down before they could be rebuilt. In a similar process that Double Rainbow punished evil ponies for victimizing other innocent ponies, I have ensured their actualization of their wrongdoings. But where Double Rainbow failed to reform anyone, my methods are more advanced to ensure success. They have learned their lesson and once resurrected from the grave using the zombie spell, they will see things in a different light.”

Discord, curious, asked, “What makes you so sure that they have learned their lesson and become good?”

I barked, “It will work. It worked with all the others.”

Discord knew it was a potential lie. Rainbow Moon killed the three ponies not like Double Rainbow did. It was pure murder what Rainbow Moon did. Although from his point of view Rainbow Moon did do the ponies of Equestria a favor by killing Sombra, Chrysalis, and Tirek.

Discord insisted and asked, “What if they aren’t reformed?”

I replied, “It is ponyly possible. I guess. But if under the rare circumstance they aren’t reformed, there will still be the pony reformed three. Trixie, Luna, and yourself who are reformed could convince them to change or to stop them from their evil ways. Not to mention, the Elements of Harmony are rainbow powered now. The other three of the Element of Disharmony bearers would be allies and aid of the Element of Harmony bearers to bring them to heel.”

Fluttershy said, “The other three villains would be outnumbered, but it could still be disastrous. That’s be like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. We should think about this. I mean, let’s not put the cart before the horse.”

Discord added, “I don’t know. I should run this by Twilight first.”

I had no problem with this an expected it, so I said, “Go ahead. Just don’t keep me wait too long.”

Discord chided, “What makes you so sure I or we will help you?”

I climaxed, “Because it is your destiny. It is your birthright. Princess Celestia knew this day would come. She knew about the existence of the Elements of Disharmony, which is one of the reasons why she needed to reform you and her sister. Would Princess Celestia or yourself rather some otherpony who isn’t reformed to get their hooves on it? You owe it to Fluttershy as her friend to do whatever it takes to keep Equestria safe. If you don’t help me then I will just have to go with some other pony who is less qualified or perhaps trustworthy. Besides, you’ve always wanted to be more like Twilight and her friends. If you bear the Element of Disharmony you will be closer to that goal, that I promise.” Laughed a little, “This is going down with or without you. I’d personally prefer it to be in the possession of a pony or creature who can be trusted and wants a better Equestria than one who may not have such wishful thinking. If you and the other don’t, other ponies will eventually. This will result in a disastrous battle far worse than attempting to make this plan work. The ensuing battle of the Element of Harmony bearers and the Element of Disharmony wearers would destroy this entire planet. The advantage is that I know where they are. I know the location to the Tree of Disharmony. Well, technically, Double Rainbow did, but he has given me that information.” I ended, “I will be waiting for you and the others to meet up with me at my lair in Ponytown to seal the deal. It is located in the heart of the Everfree Forest near Death Lake. The lake known infamously for all the drowned ponies that have died there.” I departed in a flash of rainbow light saying, “Everything in Equestria has been leading to this.”

I warped to my castle. I revealed my plans to use the reformed ponies to acquire the Elements of Disharmony, so instead of two clashing forces which would destroy Equestria, they would be able to work together to make it invincible from evil threats. I doubted the villains I slain would betray. But if they did, the damage would not be as bad as if all the Element of Disharmony ponies were against them. No doubt they would reluctantly agree to this. They had no choice.
