Rainbow Heart 3
Chapter 9 The Rebirth
Previous ChapterNext ChapterIt was a gloomy day full of clouds killing out the sun. The ponies marched through the snow forward. The pony investigation team arrived at the mechanical and maniacal fortress of Rainbow Moon. They were impressed with its design, obviously but cautious knowing that Rainbow Moon was infamous for death traps. The group consisted of Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadance, Princess Twilight and her five friends, Night Wish, Victor, Trixie, and Discord. They did not trust Rainbow Moon at all and wondered if there was an ulterior motive besides the protection of Equestria.
I could sense the magic of the alicorns approaching and deactivated all the traps allowing them safe passage into my throne room where I awaited them. It wasn’t long before they navigated the labyrinth like maze to get to me.
“Welcome to my home. Good, you’re all here. So do you all see it my way?” I asked.
Princess Celestia responded, “We will go along with your plan. But you will be held responsible for any damages done and pony lives lost.”
I smiled as I felt giddy on the inside.
“Then let’s get the show on the road.” I barked.
Instantly, a rainbow light flashed throughout the room and all of us were transported to a small secret cemetery where Princess Celestia had laid the slain villains to rest in peace. The tombstones were unmarked, but I know who laid beneath my hooves. Some of the ponies were impressed with my magic, others thought that I may have been showing off, but it was clear they did not let their guard down.
I stood before the graves. I looked back at the group.
“Today, Equestria will be saved from the villains of the future by the evil ponies of the past. The peace of Equestria begins now!” I barked.
My horn lit up with rainbow colors as the zombie spell was cast. In a moment, the deceased King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis, and Tirek arose from their tombs with shouts, their amputations sewn back on. They stood before me, possibly a little upset.
“My soldiers of reformed villains. I have shown you the errors of your ways and brought about the consequences of them to you. But now, I have given you new life to be repentant. You shall save Equestria from danger. You shall be their saviors. Do you understand?” I informed.
The three villains looked at each other and then at the crowd of ponies. They nodded with agreement to each other and then to me. With another rainbow flash all of us were warped to the Tree of Disharmony located in its own cave.
The tree resembled the Tree of Harmony, but was located on the opposite side of the planet. The tree also grew upside down from the ceiling to the floor. The elements were in their places untouched.
I walked forward to the tree and turned around to face the crowd that was following me.
“Princess Luna, Discord, Trixie, King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis, and Tirek. Step forward and claim your Elements of Disharmony.” I stated.
They stepped forward and approached the tree who recognized that they did represent the elements. With firework like beauty, the elements claimed their owners. In a moment it was done.
“Stomp your hooves as hard as you can ponies for the new saviors of Equestria.” I shouted.
Pinkie Pie was the only one who clopped her hooves on the ground and cheered.
Then Fluttershy clopped her hooves together and said for Discord, “Yay.”
The main 6 stood opposite of the other main six, posed to battle if anything went wrong.
“Now, everything is complete. Now with Princess Twilight leading the main six and Discord in charge of the other main six, Equestria will no longer have to worry about anymore nightmares.” I informed.
Discord stated, “Oh yes. But now that that’s over.” Discord looked at his team, specifically Sombra, Chrysalis, and Tirek, and stated, “As a sign of your reformation and loyalty to the Alicorns of Equestria, you must first prove yourself by apprehending Rainbow Moon.”
“What?” I barked.
Sombra, Chrysalis, and Tirek were more than willing to oblige, since I was the pony who killed them. Luna and Trixie were heading my way as well. I was cornered between Twilight with her friends and Discord with his gang. I was screwed.
“Traitors!” I shouted.
I tried to use my horn to warp away, but they were too fast. A horn blast came from Queen Chrysalis and hit me in the horn stunning it temporarily. A brief battle ensured but I was outnumbered and surrounded. It only lasted a few moments. I was knocked to the ground and beaten for a moment before Discord interviewed on my behalf.
Discord chided, “Let’s put this horse out to pasture.”
I was then shackled like a caught animal and caged deep in Canterlot Castle much to Princess Celestia’s delight. My plan had backfired on me. Well played Princess Celestia.
