Sparky Adventures

It's been two days since Blaze and I moved into the castle of Twilight. It's really fun to live with her and Spike, her dragon assistant. Today Twilight and Blaze entered into my room and woke me up saying that today was a special day.

"Huh? How a Monday can be special?" I asked.

"I explain." Twilight said. "Today will be your first day at the new school."

"New... School? But this has to be now? Let me sleep just five more minutes..."

"Well, if you want to lose the opportunity to make more friends..." Blaze said.

I jumped out of bed almost instantly. "I'll be ready in five minutes!" Twilight and Blaze laughed at this.

"How you do it?" Twilight asked.

"Experience."

After having protested against taking a bath in the morning, and straighten my mane only to it returns to the way it was, I went to the kitchen to have breakfast. The castle kitchen was huge, enough to accommodate a target shooting training camp. After taking breakfast, I grabbed my backpack and waved goodbye to Twilight and Blaze.

"Have a good day at school!" They said.

On the way to school, many thoughts were going through my mind. 'New school, new friends, new-' *BUMP*

I was so distracted that I ended up hitting myself in someone who was passing by.

"Oh, I'm sorry sir! I was a bit distracted and..."

"Spark?" He said. "Spark Light Blitz? It's really you?"

"Huh? How do you know me?" I asked in confusion.

"You do not remember me, do you? It's been so long..."

I stood up to get a better view of who it was. A light brown stallion with a dark brown mane was looking at me.

"It's me, Time Turner!" He said.

"Time Turner... Doctor? It's you? You are so different..."

"Yeah, some things happened... But what are you doing here in Ponyville?"

"I live here now!"

"Really? Cool, I think you will see me a lot here."

"You work here?"

"Yes, I adjust the city watches."

"Okay then... If you'll excuse me now, I need to go."

"See you later then."

The school was a big red building and had a lot of fillies and colts playing outside. When I approached, everyone turned and stared at me. 'Huh?  What is going on? Why is everyone looking at me like that?' Before I think of something I heard someone saying "Miss Cheerilee! It has a prince out here!"

"Oh Sweetie Belle," Said a female voice from inside the school. "Are you kidding me?"

"No! It's really a prince! Come see!"

After some seconds, a purple mare with a light pink mane came out of school door. She approached me smiling and said "You must be the new student Spark Light Blitz, am I right?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Your brother told me you were coming today. My name is Miss Cheerilee, I hope you like it here. The class starts in five minutes."

"Thanks."

After Miss Cheerilee finished talking with me, some of the kids started asking questions to me.

"Hello! What's your name?"

"Oh, my name is Spark Light Blitz. But you can call me Spark."

"Are you a prince?"

"No, I'm not."

"So why do you have wings and a horn?"

I had the perfect excuse for that question. "My brother said that I was born this way."

"Are you a member of the Royal Family?"

"No."

"How old are you?"

"I'm eight years old."

"You don't have a Cutie Mark yet?"

"No, and I don't care much about that."

"Typical phrase of a blank flank." Said a pink filly from inside the crowd.

"What?"

"What's the use of being a Alicorn if you do not have a Cutie Mark?"

"Hey! That's not cool!"

"Oh, and what will you do about it your little dwarf? I'm three years older than you!"

"Leave me alone!" I yelled.

"Leave the new student in peace, Diamond Tiara!" A yellow filly said from within the crowd of students.

"Well, look what interesting thing! The old blank flank defending the new one!"

"Go away or ah'll tell everythin' to Miss Cheerilee!"

"I only go because I have more important things to do. See you later, little dwarf!" She said with an evil grin before going to another corner.

"Hey, thanks for the help." I said to the yellow filly.

"No problem."

"That filly is like this with everyone?"

"Only with those who aren't as rich as she or who don't have a Cutie Mark."

"Hmm..."

"So yer name is Spark, isn't it?"

"Yes."

"ah'm AppleBloom. It's nice to meet ya."

"Thanks."

"Yer' new in town?"

"Yes. I moved here with my older brother two days ago."

Shortly thereafter, I could hear the school bell ringing. It was time to start class. After everyone had entered the school and chosen their places, Miss Cheerilee introduced me to the class. "Class, this is Spark Light Blitz. He moved here two days ago and will now begin to take lessons with us. I hope you will treat him well. I'm talking about you, Diamond Tiara." She said looking to the pink filly.

After class was over, I started my way right back home, until I heard someone call my name.

"Spark, wait for me!" I turned to see who it was that was calling me. Was AppleBloom, and along with her were two other fillies, a white unicorn with a pink and purple mane and a pegasus with a dark purple mane. "Yer' pretty fast for someone who has yer size!"

"Oh, hey AppleBloom. Who are they?"

"Spark, I'd like ya to meet my best friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo."

"You may not be a prince, but you're as beautiful as one!" Sweetie Belle said.

"You probably have heard of me, my older sister is the fastest Pegasus across Equestria!"

AppleBloom face-hoofed. "Here we go again..."

"So she did not know my brother. He is the fastest, strong and awesome Pegasus worldwide! He could win a race with his eyes closed!"

"He is not faster than my sister!"

"He is!"

"Is not!"

"He is!"

"Is not!"

"Stop this, you two!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Yeah, you're acting like children!"

"But we are children!" We said in unisom.

"Oh, sorry!"

After this, Scootaloo and I exchanged a look that said 'This is not over!' and started talking about various other things.

"So, where do you live Spark?"

"I live in the castle of Princess Twlight."

"Are you related to her?"

"Something like that..."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, let's say that all that my brother and I are today is thanks to her." They exchanged a confused look at my answer. We continue walking until the castle came into sight.

"Hey Spark," AppleBloom said. "Can we meet yer brother?"

"Of course you can! You will be impressed with him!"

I opened the door saying "Blaze, Twilight I'm home!"

"Welcome back, Sparky! You had a good day at school?" Twilight said.

"Almost..."

"Oh, hi Twilight!" Scootaloo said.

"I see you've met the CMC..."

"CMC?" I asked in confusion.

"Let me explain." AppleBloom said. "CMC is the abbreviation for 'Cutie Mark Crusader'. We do anythin' to get our Cutie Marks. Ya want to join our club?"

"Uhh... No thanks."

"You don't know what you're missing..." Sweetie Belle said.

"Hey Twilight, where Blaze is?" I asked.

"He's in the library."

"Thanks. Come with me girls."

I opened the door to the library and said "Blaze, where are you?"

"Over here!" He said from above. He was flying and carrying several books on the back. "I see you brought visitors..."

"What the! How can you fly and carry all these books without even getting tired?" Scootaloo asked.

"I told you he is strong!"

"And very beautiful..." Sweetie Belle said with a 'I'm in love' face.

"Okay, now that's weird..." I waved a hoof in front of her eyes. She was not even blinking.

"Sweetie Belle? SWEETIE BELLE! ARE YOU IN THERE?" Scootaloo shouted next to her ear. "I think she is no signal..."

"She is not a TV!" AppleBloom said. "Ah think it's better take her home... See ya later Spark."

"See you!" With this, they started pushing Sweetie Belle out of the room.

"Strange fillies..." Blaze said.

"I know..."
