Sparky Adventures

A week has passed since Blaze and I moved to Ponyville. Twilight introduced us to all her friends. Some were a little weird, but she said it was normal. But our secret kept hidden from everyone. But today is the day. A special day. The best day ever! I've been waiting all year for this day! The day-

"Sparky, what are you doing?" Blaze asked entering my room.

"What! Uhh... nothing! I was just..."

"You were trying to speak as a narrator, weren't you?"

"Oh, well... ha ha... I... Hey, what are you doing here so early?"

"Twilight and I will be out for the day. You think you can be alone in the castle without destroying the place?"

'Yes! Yes, yes, yes, YES!!!' I tought "No problem." 'I can't belive this!'

"Okay then. Try not to make too much mess. We'll be back at 6:00. Now, you better start getting ready for school."

Okay. It's my first time alone in the castle. I think he forgot what day is today. Oh well, I know exactly what to do when I get home. After taking breakfast, brush my teeth and fix my bed, I grabbed my backpack and waved goodbye to Blaze. 'I hope nothing happens at school...'

Just as I expected, nothing happened at school. Nothing at all. Because the school was closed.

"What the? Why is the school closed?"

"Hi Spark. What are yer doin' here?"

"AppleBloom? What happened? Why is the school closed?" 'I hate asking the same thing twice.'

"Ya didn't know? Today doesn't have class because Miss Cheerilee went for a trip in Manehattam."

"And now what do I do? Twilight and Blaze are out for the day! Wait a minute... I know! AppleBloom, go find the other Crusaders. Meet me at the castle in five minutes. I have an idea!" I said with a small grin.

"What do ya have in mind?"

"It's a surprise!"

(Five minutes later)

"He said to meet he here!" AppleBloom said walking in the castle.

"If he's here, then I think he's invisible." Scootaloo said annoyed.

"Where my little prince is? I want to hug him and-" Sweetie Belle stopped talking when she realized that the others were looking at her with a confused face. "Oh, did I say that out loud?"

"Yeah, ya said."

"But don't worry. We already knew that you had a crush on him." Scootaloo joked.

"Hey!" Sweetie Belle yelled blushing.

"Oh good, you're here." I said walking in the room. I was dressed in a white scientist vest that covered my whole body for being too large and a pair of large goggles.

"Why are you dressed like this?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Do you remember that you told me that you would do anything to get your Cutie Marks?"

"Yeah, why are ya askin' this?"

"Why don't we try to get Chemical Masters Cutie Marks?" I said.

"Chemical Masters?" Scootaloo asked confused.

"It means 'very good at chemistry.'" AppleBloom explained.

"Dictionary!"

"Chicken!"

"Stop this, you two!" Sweetie Belle yelled.

"So," I asked. "What do you say?"

They looked at each other and screamed in unisom "THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS CHEMICAL MASTERS, YAY!!!"

I took them to the castle laboratory. "Let's do some experiments." I said. I was with a clipboard checking how they were doing. AppleBloom was experimenting with a apple. She was trying to make the apple grow. As soon as she dripped the mixture, the apple exploded.

"Try to put less yeast in the mixture." I said covered with pieces of apple.

"Heh, heh... Sorry."

I continued to the next table where Sweetie Bell was trying to make a permanent glitter. After she mixed all, the jar began to shine brightly.

"Try using less glitter." I said with a pair of sunglasses to protect my eyes from the strong brightness.

"I'll try." She said blushing.

Finally I went to the final table where Scootaloo was doing a mix to increase the speed of her scooter.

"Do you really know what you're doing?" I asked.

"Not even a little!" She said as she mixed everything. After a few seconds the mixture evaporated releasing black smoke that covered the entire room.

"Try to not... put coal." I said from inside the shield that I created to protect me from the smoke.

After a few unsuccessful experiments, I decided it was my turn to make an attempt.

"Okay, I'll need a few things for this experiment." I said.

After almost done, I just needed one more thing to finish the experiment.

"Hey Scoots, I need your help to finish the experiment." I said.

"What do you need?" She asked.

"I need two feathers of different colors. I already have one here so I just need one more."

"What are you creating?"

"According to this book, if all goes well, I'll be able to create a dragon!"

"That. Is. AMAZING! Here's the feather! I want to see this dragon!"

"Okay! I just need to put the feathers in the mix and..."

After the explosion, I woke up a little dizzy. I searched the lab trying to see where the others were. I found Scootaloo trying to remove the black spots that the explosion had caused on her.

"Hey Scoots, are you alright?"

"Yes I am. Just a little dirty."

"Let's find the others."

A coughing sound caught our attention. We followed the sound thinking it was one of the other Crusaders. Once we reach the source of the sound, our jaws almost touched the ground. A white Pegasus colt with red eyes, younger than me, was looking at us.

"Mommy, daddy!" He said, giggling.

I was speechless trying to process what had just happened. The only words that came out of my mouth were "It's alive! Muahahaha!" I tried to make a mad scientist laugh to emphasize the situation.

"Stop this! What has just happened?" Scootaloo asked annoyed.

"I don't know! According to the book, this experiment was supposed to create a dragon! And since we are the first who he has seen, I guess he thinks we're his parents."

She picked up the book that was in a corner of the room. "You mean this book?"

"Yes."

"The book that says 'How to Create a Pony' on the cover?"

"What the!? Let me see it. Hey, this is not the book I picked up on the shelf! Someone switched the book I got for this one!"

"Oh sorry. I think it was me!" A voice said from nowhere.

"You Again!" Scootaloo said.

"Who?" I asked.

"Discord."

"Discord? The same that nearly destroyed the world with power of the chaos? What is he doing free?"

"Oh, that's a long story..." He started.

"So you're reformed?" I asked.

"Completely!" He said.

"Can I ask one last question?"

"Okay."

"YOU REALLY THINK THAT WHAT YOU JUST DID IS FUNNY!?" I yelled at him.

"Woa! Calm down!"

"CALM DOWN?! BECAUSE OF YOU NOW I'LL HAVE TO EXPLAIN TO BLAZE THAT A YOUNG PEGASUS THINK THAT I AM HIS DAD!"

"Hey, what is happening here?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Discord? I thought ya were on vacation in... Where did you go again?"

"The Earth." He said.

"I think I have to explain this to you two." I said. After explaining everything, they had one last question.

"So, who's going to take care of him?" Sweetie Belle asked.

I looked to the young colt and back to the Crusaders. "I... I'll do it."

"You?" Everyone asked in unisom.

"Yeah... I know well what it's like to live without knowing the parents... and... I don't want that to happen to anyone."

"Spark..."

I approached the young colt and hugged him. He giggled and returned the hug. "Daddy Sparky!" He said.

"Now I need to think of a name for him. Hmm..." I brought a hoof my chin thinking. I looked at him and said "What do you think of 'Storm Flasher'?"

"Storm! Bum! Hi hi hi!" He said.

"Ah think he liked it." AppleBloom said. "Ah need to go home. It's almost 6:00."

"I think I'll go home too. See you guys tomorrow." Sweetie Belle and AppleBloom waved goodbye and started to return home.

"Goodbye. Say goodbye to them, son!" I said to Storm.

"Goodbye aunt Sweetie Belle! Goodbye aunt AppleBloom!" He waved to them.

"I need to talk to my sister about this whole situation. I'll see you later Spark." Scootaloo said.

"Okay. I'll have to explain this to Blaze too. See you tomorrow. Say goodbye, Storm." I said.

"Goodbye mommy Scootaloo!" He waved to her.

"It will be hard to get used to this." She said.

"I know..."

"I think I'll go home too..." Discord said.

"You're not going anywhere! You will stay here and help me explain what happened!" I yelled.

"You know... You're very mature for your age..."

"Certain things about me could let you surprised..."

"Okay, I'll stay. After all, I'm reformed."

"Thanks."

"Thanks! Thanks! Hi hi hi!" Storm was giggling all the time.

"He will be a very smart colt..." I said with a smile.

(6:00 PM)

"Hey Sparky! We're home!" Blaze said walking into the room accompanied by Twilight.

"And we have a surprise for you!" She said.

"Surprise? For me? Where? What is it?" I said excitedly.

Twilight smiled and said "Don't you want to give a hug to your new mother?"

"Mother? You mean..."

"Yes, Sparky. I've adpted you and Blaze."

"Twilight and I talked for a long time and we came to this decision." Blaze said.

"Oh my god! I can't belive this! This is the best surprise ever!"

"Happy Birthday Sparky." She said.

"Thanks... Mom."

"Oh, what a beautiful scene. I could have a heart attack."

"Discord? What are you doing here?" Twilight asked to him.

"Spark, tell them." Discord said to me.

"Uh? Tell what?" Blaze asked.

"Storm, come here!" I called him. After some seconds, Storm entered the room and sat down next to me.

"Sparky, who's that?" Blaze asked.

"Well... Blaze, mom, this is Storm Flasher... my son." I said scratching the back of my head.

"Your what?" They asked in unisom.

"Discord, help me here!" I said to Discord, who was trying to escape through an open window.

"Okay! I'll explain what happened."

After explainig everything, Discord looked to me and said "Can I go now?"

"Who will decide this is my mother." I said.

"You can go home, Discord. But enough jokes for today, got it?"

"I'll try." He said before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

"Well, I can not do anything to change your mind about it, right?" Blaze asked.

"Exactly."

Blaze sighed. "So, 'Storm Flasher' isn't it?"

"Say hello to your uncle, Storm." I said.

"Hello, uncle Blaze!"

I approached my new mother and said "And this is your granny Twilight."

"Suddenly I feel so old..." She said. Everyone in the room laughd.

"A new family. This is the best birthday present of my life!"

"Did someone said Birthday?" Pinkie said popping out from nowhere. "LET'S PARTY!!!"
