I heard knocking on the door. I stopped cleaning dishes and opened the door. I was surprised to see Rainbow Dash of all ponies here.
"Um, hello? Why are you here?" She rolled her eyes.
"Twilight said that we should do what Celestia says and take care of you guys, and it happens to be that I'm paired up with you," I sighed.
"I do not need a babysitter."
"I know, but Twilight said that we should," I groan and invited her in. "So, what are you cooking?" She sniffs the air seeing the oven on.
"Nothing much really," the oven beeps and I take out some cookies.
"I thought your family wasn't wealthy, how do you know how to cook?"
"Well, I had a few jobs, wait. How did you know about that?" She covered her mouth.
"Well, before I was sent to you, Twilight got info from Jacob, so we know a lot about you." I sigh.
"Well, now that you know me, how about you tell me about you," She raises an eyebrow.
"Why would I do that?" I smiled.
"In my world, if one person know another, then that person should learn about the person who know about him," it was a white lie, but I felt no shame. Rainbow sighs then nods.
"Fine, I'm Rainbow Dash, I'm 19 years old, I'm a girl, as much as I hate to say it. I have been living in Ponyville for a few years. I'm not dating anyone. I am the best flier in Equestria. My best friend is Pinkie. Anything else?" I thought about it, then shook my head.
"Would you like to stay for the dessert?" Rainbow Dash raises an eyebrow. I roll my eyes. "Not the kissing kind, besides, I already know you," she smirks at that.
"You usually the wise guy where you're from?" I snicker.
"The wisest around, thus why I'm not a comedic relief," I answer while giving a slight bow. She smiles and takes a cookie. She takes a bite, and her eyes open wide. "Let me guess, not good?" She takes five more greedily and now I have a shocked face. She sees it and gives me a questioning look. "I never had anyone like my cooking, so you must be part pig!" She gives me a glare before laughing.
"I have to admit, you are a funny po- er, guy," I smiled at the compliment and ate some of my cookies. "You know, now that I think about it, you aren't half as bad as I thought you were."
"Oh my God, the best, and arrogant flier in Equestria is giving me a compliment!" I snicker as her cheeks turn a shade of pink.
"Well, for an alien of coarse," she says, looking away. I feel like those trolls on the internet back on Earth. "By the way Sam, I wasn't kidding about you not being that bad though," I nod.
"I know, but sometimes pulling a prank or trolling someone's fun," she looks at me strangely.
"What does 'trolling' mean?" I quickly explained that trolling is a joke that makes someone mad. "In that case, you did a poor job, I wasn't mad," I gave my best sad look. She giggled and I smirked.
"Was that giggling I heard?" She stops.
"No! T-that was just chuckling a different way!" I snickered again at her angry face.
"I'm a bad troller huh?" She thought about it and then punched me in the arm playfully, which actually hurt a little.
"Not funny dude," she says.
"Oh but my instinct as an American troller was need to be let out," I joke. She rolled her eyes and kept eating my cookies. After we were finished she had some errands to do. Something about wonder and bolts. I waved as she left. I went back inside my home and cleaned the table. I felt good. I yawned when I was finished and went to sleep on my bed.
Later
I woke up. I loathed the sun's evil rays declaring war on my eyes. I turned over, which made me fall of the bed. I got up and stretched. I went into the bathroom and took a shower. I heard someone open the front door and groaned.
"I'M IN THE SHOWER, WAIT IN THE LIVING ROOM PLEASE!" I yelled. I got out and wrapped a towel around my waist. I honestly didn't care if the guy was dangerous because most of the town's friendly. I walked into the living room with my jeans on. I didn't wear my shirt since it's hot today, thus making my house a volcano. I was surprised to see Max. "Hey Max, what's up?" He had a nervous look on his face.
"Hey Sam, um, today I'm helping Pinkie out and um, this will sound crazy but, I really like Pinkie," I just give him an unphased look.
"So, you want advice?" I asked. He nods with a relieved look.
"As well as a wingman," I nod understandingly. "Hey Sam, why weren't you, shocked by my statement?" He asked curiously.
"We're in a world with magic, need I say more?" He smiles. "That and I'll need money if I want to keep this house. So, where are we going?" We walk to a building made of gingerbread and sweets. "Remember when I said that we lived in a world of magic. Well screw me over and call me a jackass but this is ridiculous!" I'm only in awe.
"Hey cheer up Sam, Pinkie broke physics a long time ago too, so don't question her okay?" I just nod.
