Diamond In The Rough
Roughed Up
Previous ChapterNext ChapterSilver Spoon did not want to be here. This was the location of where her previous torment and pleasurable-pain ensued. The house of Diamond Tiara who at one time was her friend, but was now the one she loathed the most.
It had been a week since Diamond drugged her, brought her to the sex chamber in her room, and proceeded to molest, abuse, and invade her body without consent. It still hurt Silver to sit down if she wasn't careful, so she had to take it nice and steady whenever she sat down or stood up. But now, she was back in the place of her torture by the command of her parents, albeit the living room instead of the 'other place', to try and make the two long time friends kiss and make up, figuratively speaking of course.
Ever since Silver Spoon had run home that day and burst into her house, half naked and out of breath, she avoided Diamond Tiara like the plague. Ignoring her every where she went. Never second glancing her in the hall and sitting as far away from Diamond as possible in class. Every day, though, Diamond kept approaching Silver and trying to convince her how 'sorry' she was and that 'her life was incomplete without her'. Silver wasn't having any of it, and proceeded to ignore Diamond's existence, never noticing that her advances and apologies were sincere because she refused to look into Diamond's eyes. By Thursday, she imagined Diamond must have gotten the message since she gave up on trying to convince her she was actually trying to achieve her forgiveness; Diamond felt completely broken at this point. It seemed as though she had given up on her appearance as well for she refused to wear make-up or even comb her hair. Silver did not care, she was done dealing with her.
Now here she was again, back at Diamond Tiara's house once more since that fateful day. When she barged into the house, her parents had tried to question her on why she was almost naked and what happened to her luggage. Silver Spoon did not care to answer them and just ran up to her room and sobbed herself to sleep. Her suitcase was delivered back to her parents the next day by Mister Rich, who was also in the dark on what the whole situation was about. Both sides had made the same thing clear as crystal though; Silver did not want to see Diamond Tiara ever again. Unfortunately, Silver's parents didn't care what she wanted and arranged for an intervention of some sort to get this mess cleaned up and make them friends again. Silver Spoon and her parents now waited for Mister Rich to come down stairs with Diamond Tiara and talk out what happened in the living room. Diamond refused, however, because she was all too aware that Silver Spoon wanted nothing to do with her and didn't want to make Silver's life more difficult than she already had made it.
It took some time, around twenty minutes or so, but the Spoon family finally heard shuffling on the floor above them and the creak of steps as Diamond Tiara and her father came down the stairs and into the living room. It was a pitiful sight really. Diamond Tiara, a woman grown, was crying as she walked with her head in the crook of her father's neck and had his arm wrapped around her waist as they came in.
Silver noticed a few things that weren't quite right when she saw Diamond Tiara. Her mascara was runny from her crying, but was told multiple times that Diamond had not put on any make-up ever since their falling out. This lead Silver to deduce that Diamond hadn't showered ever since that day either. She grimaced internally from her friend turned dead-to-me-nuisance's terrible hygiene. Mister Rich informed them that she still brushed her teeth at least, which they thought was better than nothing. Diamond told her father why she even bothered though; her soul was crushed and whatever heart she had was ripped to shreds. Diamond didn't care.
As Mister Rich and Diamond Tiara sat down on the sofa across from, Silver also noticed something off about Diamond's hands. She kept them in her lap as her father comforted her, which gave a good side by side comparison. It was difficult to notice because of the bright hue of her pink skin, but Silver was able to see that Diamond's left hand (which was on Silver's right) was whiter than her other hand. This was odd to be sure, but Silver shrugged it off, not knowing why she was taking interest in the well-being of the girl who had given her the worst, and also, the best time of her life. Her feelings felt mixed now, but still tipped more towards the hatred side of the spectrum.
Diamond Tiara sniffled and Mister Rich cleared his throat, ready to begin.
"First of all, Mr. and Mrs. Spoon, I would like to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to meet with us so we can get this situation sorted out." Mister Rich paused for a moment to make sure they were on the same page. After a nod from both parents, he proceeded. "Now, I can't quite excuse what my daughter did-"
"Wait! She told you!?" Silver exclaimed. Mister Rich nodded.
"It took some time and patience, but Diamond finally confided to me as to what had caused this collapse between the two of you. It is rather... Mature... as to the circumstances of what lead up to this moment. She told me about the "Pact" between the two of you and even revealed to me the scene of the crime. I still kick myself for not noticing it sooner," He grumbled to himself. "She has been acting out more ever since her mother passed three months ago, but nevertheless, I don't think punishing Diamond would exactly be helping at this point. What I think is that she needs to be nurtured and loved to get her out of this rut she's in, and I can think of no one else better than you Silver. She needs your support and friendshi-"
"I don't deserve her friendship," Diamond said, cutting off her father. She leaned up and cleared her throat. "I wronged her and put her through one of the more scarier situations a girl fears, AKA Rape..." Diamond started to sob as she saw the look Silver gave her, "I completely took advantage of the trust she put in me and I smacked her in the face with it. I-... I didn't listen to the pleas she was saying and didn't care for her thoughts then. I am a monster, but I realized it too late. And because of my recklessness, I lost the only friend I had left in this world." Diamond paused to look directly in Silver's eyes and clasped her hands together, almost as if she was praying. "Silver, I know asking for your forgiveness is a totally lost cause at this point, but I am begging you from the bottom of my heart. I am sorry for everything I put you through, and if you allow me your forgiveness, I promise not to bother you ever again. I put you through a lot of pain and suffering, and I took a real unorthodox route to feel the pain I caused you, and everyone else I have wronged. I'm sorry," Diamond concluded, putting her face in her hands and crying afterwards.
"Fine. I forgive you. Can we go now?" Silver asked, unmoved by Diamond's words. This earned her a light smack on the back of the head by her mother.
"Silver Spoon!" Her mother scolded. "How could you be so insensitive to Diamond. She just poured her heart out to you and THAT is what you have to say?"
"I said I forgive her, didn't I? Besides, no person with a heart would have done what she did to me. I just want to get out of here..." Silver said, pausing to look to Diamond's hands once more, "And why is your left hand whiter than the rest of you? It looks like you have bad circulation or something." Silver said, with the tiniest hint of concern. Diamond had jumped at the question and lowered her hands from her face. She looked from them to Silver Spoon several times before making a response.
"Well, I, er..." Diamond stammered, not knowing how to respond. Feeling defeated, she sighed and slowly rolled up her sleeve. Everyone in the room gasped at what they saw. "I said that I had taken an unorthodox route to feel all the pain that I had caused. I'm a monster, and I deserve much worse than this," Diamond finished.
No one could take their eyes off the sight before them. Diamond's left arm was covered in several cylindrical burn marks, supposedly by a curling iron, and a dozen or so semi-deep looking cuts going around her arm; a couple of the cuts seemed to be fresh and they all ran horizontally in correspondence to her arm. Mister Rich looked from Diamond Tiara to her arm several times, shocked that his pride and joy would do this to herself. Silver Spoon felt a slight pang of guilt, but was soon overtaken by the thought that Diamond deserved it, which made the guilt feel even worse. "All that because of me?" Silver thought as she looked on with disbelief. There was a sharp intake of breath from her mother beside her as she recomposed herself.
"Mister Rich! How could you allow this to go on? Why hasn't she been taken to a doctor and had this taken care of?" Her mother asked, astonished.
"I-I-I wasn't aware she had been doing this to herself. My daughter has a reputation of keeping things hidden, remember?" Mister Rich spluttered out.
A tiny commotion began to erupt around the group as Mister Rich and Silver Spoon's parents argued of nonsense and forgot the real reason why they were there in the first place. The argument was thankfully put to rest when Silver Spoon finally responded.
"That's so... wrong," Silver said, barely above a whisper. Diamond was confused by her words, mostly because Silver didn't seem to sound concerned.
"What do you mean?" Diamond asked.
"That's wrong, Diamond," Silver spat back at her. "You only cut your arms sideways for attention. You're supposed to cut them long ways for some real damage because it is harder for doctors to repair veins that are cut long ways instead of short. You would know that if you paid attention in anatomy." Silver sounded to almost be congratulating her and scolding her at the same time.
"Oh," Was Diamond's only response as she found something interesting to look at on the floor.
"The burns though, that is a unique twist," Silver added.
Complete silence fell upon the room. Looks of complete horror were directed at Silver Spoon by all the adults in the room, aside from Diamond who had started to weep again. Silver felt a little bad that she had started to cry again. Maybe she had gone too far. Maybe Diamond really had changed since that day, but she couldn't be sure since Diamond was known for being a liar and a cheater. It was a few minutes before anyone could speak up to say anything.
"That is not how I raised my daughter..." Silver's mother said. It cut deeper than she had initially intended it to and didn't even know. Silver looked to her mother with a quick turn of her head and stared for the longest time. She then heard a faint whimper come from in front of her and turned just in time to see Diamond crying again.
Never in all her life, or at least since she had known Diamond, had she seen her cry so much. It was only on rare occasions when she saw her friend cry, but usually she was extremely resilient. But now, now she could see that her friend was completely broken, and she needed her. And Silver figured she needed her too. As she thought back to that day, it dawned on her that is really wasn't all that bad. It hurt, yes, in more ways than one, but it was also the best she had ever felt. She also figured that if she was serious enough that Diamond would've stopped. But she hadn't tried that much to get Diamond to stop in the first place, which made her think if she had wanted it all along, but didn't know it.
Her heart jumped into her throat when Diamond hitched as she sobbed, trying and failing to conceal her misery. Silver Spoon jolted to her feet, a quick, but sharp pain shooting through her insides as she stood up. Silver walked around the coffee table and grabbed Diamond by the wrist of her good hand.
"Can I speak to you in private, please?" Silver asked sternly, and dragged Diamond along with her out the living room.
"Silver, don't do anything rash. Okay Sweetie?" Silver's mother called as they disappeared around the corner. Silver did not respond and continued to drag Diamond along, much like she did that day in school, and pulled her into a little hallway on the left side of the stairs where Silver was sure they were out of ear shot. Silver gently pushed Diamond up against the wall of the staircase, of which contained a few family photos and a table with a flower vase on top. Diamond could not bring herself to look Silver in the eye and was contempt to just staring off to her left and rubbing her bad arm with her good hand. Silver sighed and blew a strand piece of hair out of her face.
"Alright Diamond," Silver began, "please look at me while I speak to you..." Diamond flinched at her words, but looked to her anyways. Silver's hands were behind her back and a look of sympathy and worry was on her face. "I want to start out by saying that I DO forgive you for what happened. After some brief reflection, I came to realize that I actually did want for that to happen, although I think the chloroform was a bit extreme..." Diamond flinched at her words again. "But that was one of the best orgasms I ever had, and I can now look back on it and enjoy it because it was with someone whom I trusted instead of some random hobo who wanted to get off. I feel awful now for all that I have put YOU through. It must have been painful, torturous even, to keep going on even when you felt you would never get the closure you wanted." Silver paused and took a deep breath, then slowly let it out as a deep sigh. "I suppose I overreacted a bit, and I am sorry for all that I made you feel. I am no longer going to sit by and watch you kill yourself for something I could have prevented-"
"No Silver," Diamond cut in, "This couldn't have been prevented. One way or another this would have happened. It was what happened that day to cause this; it was the instigator. If not then, it would have happened later. You were right to be mad and hate me. I hurt you more than I have ever hurt anybody else." Diamond sobbed some more as she spoke. "I-... I was thinking about you, but I wasn't thinking ABOUT you, if that makes sense," Diamond said and shrugged. Silver understood it perfectly.
They lapsed into a state of silence, unsure of what to say next at this point. Silver looked down and noticed that Diamond was rubbing her arm again. Silver clasped Diamond's hand with both of hers and brought it up to her face, rolling back Diamond's sleeve in the process. Silver felt a phantom pain in her arm when she looked upon the cuts that would surely scar.
"You did this because of me?" She asked, making eye contact with Diamond, who shook her head.
"No, well, partially. I did this because I finally realized I'm a monster a need to feel the pain that I have caused others over the years. But it was also to make the pain of losing you stop. It helped somewhat, but the pain would always return in full force. Squeezing and clawing at my heart until I could barely breathe. It still hurts, even now..." Diamond whispered, tears stinging her eyes again. Silver felt tears come to her eyes as well. She gently squeezed and kissed the cold hand she held in her own.
"But I am here Diamond. I'm here and I'm never leaving your side again. I may still have some resentment for a while for what you did to be honest, but I am going to help you get past this rough patch. This isn't the end Diamond, it is the beginning of a whole new chapter in your life. In... In OUR life..."
Diamond was taken aback by what she had heard, or at least what she thought she heard. "Y- You mean..?" A simple nod from Silver was all she needed.
"Yes. I-.. I know this may be kind of fast, but I can't imagine my life without you anymore Diamond. I want to be there for you and I want to see you smile. Did you mean what you said that day when I was still tied up and you knelt down, kissed my head and said that you loved me?"
Diamond nodded. "I have been in love with you for a long time now, ever since we made that pact when we were 15. I just never had the courage to speak up and say anything. I didn't want to put a strain on the relationship we already had." Diamond said, opening her eyes to a smiling Silver Spoon who had closed the gap between their bodies somewhat. Diamond felt herself begin to smile, but then looked away and brought her hand back down to her side, clenching her hand into a fist and giving herself whiter knuckles.
"But I don't deserve happiness, let alone to be with someone as beautiful as you." Diamond said. Silver Spoon felt her heart skip a beat and pick up pace. She blushed at the comment, but was agitated by the statement before it.
"You do deserve happiness, Diamond, and I am going to be the one who gives it to you." Silver closed the gap even more until they were almost nose to nose. Diamond's pulse began to increase as well, squeezing her hand even tighter into a fist.
"But I-" Diamond began until she was shushed by Silver placing a finger on her lips. Silver slowly removed her finger and began to lean in, closing her eyes as she did. Diamond closed her eyes as well and waited for the moment of triumph. For once, ever since this whole ordeal, she felt happy. Diamond could smell the mint and peaches on Silver's breath as she got closer and closer to her lips. Diamond allowed a smile because her two most favorite things were mixed into one; her best friend-turned-lover, and the smell of peaches were right in front of her.
Silver was ready for her first real kiss with Diamond Tiara. Throughout their relationship and the Pact they had made, there had never been any kissing, but pretty much every thing else was on the table. Silver's heart rate picked up once more as she was about to make contact, but then she heard a faint drip from somewhere. Silver stopped mere inches from her lover's lips and opened her eyes, looking to see where the offending noise was coming from. Diamond, confused as to where Silver went, opened her eyes as well in confusion only to see Silver looking around in a hysterical manner.
"What are you doing?" Diamond asked.
"Listen, don't you hear that drip?" Silver replied. They both hushed and waited for the sound that Silver was talking about. Diamond felt a small force leave her clenched hand right before they both heard the dripping sound again. "See? That..." Silver said.
Diamond slowly began to look down, followed directly by Silver Spoon as they looked to Diamond's injured arm just in time to see another drop of blood leave her middle knuckle. Silver reacted quickly and grabbed Diamond's hand with both her hands and gently lifted it back up. She rolled back the sleeve again like last time, only to be presented with a new horror. She gasped and covered her mouth with her hand as she stared at the little rivulets of blood traveling down Diamond's arm from the open cuts; the blood split off into different branches to form what looked like tiny lightning bolts all the way down Diamond's arm from elbow to fingertip. Silver shuddered and hiccuped a bit as she felt tears sting her eyes once more and felt a weight be placed on her heart. Diamond didn't seem as concerned as Silver, but was still worried.
"I guess I shouldn't have clenched so tightly, huh?" She asked with a lifeless chuckle. Silver didn't understand how she could be so calm about this. The arm is where a lot of blood travels, especially the left, and letting it escape in this amount was very dangerous. Silver calmed down a bit as panicking wasn't going to help the situation and looked back to Diamond Tiara, who returned her gaze.
"C'mon, let's go get this cleaned and bandaged." Silver said, grabbing Diamond's good wrist and leading the way to the bathroom that was down the hall.
