"Okay DT, this may sting a little."

Diamond Tiara winced in stinging agony, sucking air through her teeth like one usually does, as Silver Spoon rubs her arm with Peroxide to clean the cuts. She was careful not to press too hard so as not to cause Diamond any more pain than she was already in.

After being gently pulled into the bathroom by Silver Spoon and was set down on the toilet lid, she had waited patiently, and at the same time, impatiently as Silver rooted around in the medicine cabinet/mirror combo as well as underneath the sink. Her searching revealed a bottle of the aforementioned Peroxide along with some wiping pads, a wash rag, scissors, and a roll of gauze.

Silver Spoon had begun the treatment for her friend by wetting a corner of the wash rag, getting down on her knees, and cleaning any dried or fresh blood from Diamond Tiara's arm. Silver made sure to get every inch while not pressing too hard into the skin, then dried it with a dry part of the wash rag. Diamond jumped slightly from the rough texture of the cloth rubbing against the sensitive skin of her injured arm, but did not complain. She kept thinking to herself though that she didn't deserve the kindness Silver was providing her. Diamond did not say so out loud for it would only get her another mouthful from Silver like the one she got when they were walking to the bathroom.

This now brings us back to the present. Silver was slowly and carefully wiping the Peroxide-covered pad over every bit of Diamond's self-mutilated appendage. Diamond wanted to tell her to stop, to tell her that she deserved more than a few scratches and burns, but Silver had told her to "hush her face" until it was over. Diamond complied with the request and continued to sit on the toilet in pained silence. She did feel a strong sense of love for Silver Spoon at the moment however. She thought Silver would make a great nurse someday, or perhaps even a doctor. But right now, Diamond reveled in the feeling of having a personal caretaker, still fighting with the feeling to say she wasn't worthy of Silver's affection every step of the way.

Silver finally finished wiping and disinfecting any possible bacteria or germs that may be festering in Diamond's skin, with only minimal leaks of Diamond's life blood. It didn't hurt any less for Silver though. Every time more blood leaked out of Diamond's arm, a shooting, searing pain shot through her heart and nearly brought her to tears. Her recovery was slow after cleaning the leaks away, leaving a time period for more blood to trickle out and cause the vice around her heart to become even tighter. It was only after she was done cleaning the cuts did Silver get any reprieve. Caressing and stroking the good parts of Diamond's arm calmed her down somewhat while also comforting Diamond. She couldn't help feeling relaxed and a little amazed at the smoothness of her friend's light-pink toned skin.

She set aside the Peroxide and wiping pads then reached over and grabbed the gauze off the sink counter. She took the pin that kept the gauze rolled up off and began wrapping it around Diamond Tiara's arm in a clockwise manner, starting at the base of the elbow and working her way up to the hand. The process was a bit slow, so Silver used this time to reflect on all the events that lead up to this moment. From the time in school, to Diamond's secret room, to now. Thinking of how she somehow became infatuated, of all things, with Diamond after the recent events that transpired. Silver knew she always had strong feelings for Diamond, but she never thought they were that strong. But here she was, wrapping up and tending to the arm that was the cause of her best, yet worst experience in her life. The arm that belongs to the girl of her most recent resentment and disgust. In the end though, she found a way to love her instead of hate her, which proves that her love withstood the test from a higher power. A test that would either make or break their future. Silver gave a small smile as she thought about their future together while she finished wrapping Diamond's arm in the gauze, running it between the area of the thumb and pointer finger, back around her palm again, and ending at the top of Diamond's hand. Quickly grabbing the scissors, she snipped off what remained of the gauze and secured it with the pin it came with, then tucked the leftover gauze on Diamond's hand under the piece below it, securing it on her hand and making a seamless wrap. Diamond smiled at the handiwork Silver did and attempted to pull it close to her stomach and cover it with her other arm so as to protect it, but Silver anticipated this.

Swiftly, but gently, Silver cupped Diamond's hand in her own. She stroked it with her thumbs and admired it a little before bringing it up to her face and peppering it with light, delicate kisses; her hand could almost be confused with ice due to the lack of proper blood flow to it. Silver planned to fix that.

No part of Diamond's hand was left un-kissed. All her fingers received several kisses each, the top was covered in smooches from Silver Spoon's lips as well. Her palm was the last to receive any kisses, which was basically how she did the top of the hand, finishing it off by holding Diamond's hand upright, letting Diamond's fingers curl somewhat, and ending with one final big kiss on all the middle fingers. Then Silver rubbed the damaged appendage against her right cheek, looking solemn and sad as she nuzzled it.

Diamond bit her lip, not knowing what to say. She would hate herself even more for interrupting what was supposedly a special moment for Silver, and she admitted that the feeling of Silver caring and protecting her hand was very kind. It filled her with a weird, fuzzy feeling. A warmth that she had felt before from her mother but could not explain. All she knew is that it started in her chest and spread throughout the rest of her body; flooding her senses and making her feel only one thing: happiness. Diamond knew from then on that Silver was most definitely the one, no doubts in heart or mind. This girl that knelt in front of her, nuzzling and cuddling her hand like it was the cutest and most fragile puppy in the world, was her true love. Diamond smiled and sniffled a little as tears began filling her eyes; the dams finally burst.

Silver was finally done having her intimate and personal moment with Diamond's hand. She opened her eyes that had closed at some point during the hand-canoodling, and straightened up her head. Silver grasped Diamond's good hand in her left, keeping the bad one firmly held in her right, and stood up, pulling Diamond along with her.

There they stood in the middle of the bathroom, holding each hand in one another's, staring into the other's eyes. No words were passed between the two. Only the sound of their hearts beating could audibly be heard, picking up at a noticeable pace as they continued their staring contest. Finally, Silver could not take it anymore and let her instincts take over somewhat.

Quick as lightning, Silver wrapped her left arm around Diamond's skinny midriff and pulled her close, crushing Diamond's arms to her body and rendering them useless. While Silver was careful not to grasp the injured part of Diamond's left arm, she put her right hand on the back of Diamond's head. Diamond only had a few seconds to look into the gaze Silver gave her, mischievous while also sultry and alluring, and was pulled into a powerful lip-lock. Diamond's eyes shot wide open, but she soon melted like wax into the fiery kiss and allowed herself to go slightly limp.

The kiss was unlike anything she ever felt. Silver was putting all her effort and heart into this one moment, this one special moment that they have where Silver can truly pronounce her love without even having to say a word. They stayed like that for a few seconds, but alas, all good things must come to an end. They slowly separated from the kiss with a trail of saliva still connecting their lips. Their breaths were deep and labored as they struggled to refill their lungs with oxygen and expel the carbon dioxide. Silver still kept a firm grip on Diamond, not allowing their bodies to be separated just yet.

"So... Does this mean were official now?" Diamond asked with shaky breath. Silver nodded.

"I think we were always together even if we didn't know it, but this just sealed the deal," Silver replied, pulling Diamond in for another deep, but shorter, kiss than last time.

"There is just one thing I need to ask..." Diamond said hesitantly.

"Hm?" Silver questioned.

"How... How can you just forgive me that easily? I terrify and defile you and you patch my arm up? I am just having trouble coming to terms with this."

Silver groaned slightly. "I thought we already went over this. Yes, you tortured me. Yes, you frightened me. But as I have told you, in hindsight, it wasn't really all THAT bad. Besides, if I really wanted you to stop, I am pretty sure you would have listened if I made it clear. I am the one that actually feels bad..."

"Why's that?"

"Because of how I treated you last week. I put you through that torture of never getting any closure and flat out ignoring your existence. I can still remember your face too. If there was a picture to describe what "shredded heart" looked like, that would have matched perfectly. Plus the way I was treating you no more than an hour ago in the living room. I was too blind and stupid to see you were telling the truth..."

"You were within your right DoubS. You didn't necessarily have come to this intervention, or whatever it is. Nor did you have to reveal what you revealed to me. I don't even deserve to be having this moment with you. I don't deserve to be held, or kissed, or tended to, or-"

"Shut up!! Stop talking like that!" Silver exploded, scaring Diamond nearly to tears. The realization of what Silver just did smacked her like a freight train, still not being used to this new sensitive Diamond Tiara. With her own tears beginning to well and not knowing what else to do, Silver hugged Diamond tight to her, closing any distance that was still between them. Diamond tensed, but quickly relaxed into the hug.

"I'm sorry," Silver croaked in a pained whisper right beside Diamond's ear, "I keep forgetting how fragile a state you are in now. Please forgive me..."

Several moments passed before Silver felt a slight shuffling down below, then felt two hands grasp her hips and pull her in even closer. Their bodies molded into one, becoming something beautiful with two minds and two hearts, thinking and beating as one. Silver sighed as she enjoyed this moment with her soul mate.

"To be completely honest," Silver began, still retaining the hug, "I may have some resentment for you for a little while, but that is only temporary. My love for you is eternal and I am here for you. So please don't worry about anything. Just... proceed as normal." Silver accentuated her point with a little peck on the cheek and a nuzzle, rubbing her cheek against Diamond's cheek. Diamond's only response was tightening her grip on Silver's waist, pulling her ever more closer.

Silver became lost in this moment with Diamond, her one true love, and took a long, deep breath. Breathing in an all too familiar but welcomed scent. Peaches.

It was about 8 minutes later when they finally stepped out of the bathroom after having their moment together. During that time even more loving words were said and caring gestures were given and received. Every few moments there would be a quick, deep kiss and petting of the head. Silver mainly did all the stroking and caressing because of Diamond's arms still being locked to her body by Silver's arms, that doesn't mean Diamond didn't try though. She would continually rub the small of Silver's back and pull her in a little tighter for as long as she could hold. Her strength waned over the course of the past events, but right now though, she felt more powerful than ever before.

They walked out holding hands and leaning into each other. They jumped back in surprise as they saw their parents' standing there; their eyes wide with shock.

"Were you eavesdropping?" Silver asked them. Her parents and Filthy Rich gave an awkward chuckle, knowing they were caught.

"No, we weren't eavesdropping," Silver's Dad said, coaxing an eye roll from Silver. "We were just... making sure... you were okay!" He finished with a guilty smile.

"Okay, sure, whatever you say dad," Silver said in a deadpan. Her mother cleared her throat and stepped forward a bit.

"Honey, darling, were sorry.. We were just a little worried. Especially after that little revelation Diamond gave us back there in the living room." She paused and looked to Diamond. "I believe she mentioned something about... you know... Ra-,"

"Nope! You heard wrong mom!" Silver cut in.

"Are you sure? I could have sworn-"

"Yep. Positive. 100%. Forget what Diamond said. She was just a little out of it due to lack of sleep." Silver replied in a hurry, her face morphing into one of pained guilt. "The way I behaved probably didn't help much either..." Silver sniffled a bit and looked to the floor. Diamond, wanting to comfort her friend and lover, wrapped her right arm around Silver's waist and pulled her closer. Silver turned her head to Diamond and smiled, taking Diamond's injured hand into her right hand. They gazed into each other's eyes for a moment, getting lost in the lipid pools of the other. This was one pool they didn't care to drown in.

Silver's mom trailed her eyes down to Diamond's injured arm and smiled a little, feeling immensely proud of her daughter.

"I see Silver got your arm patched up," She said with great enthusiasm.

The two lovers looked down to Diamond's arm then back at the adults to respond.

"Yep," Silver said, her face morphing into a stern expression. "I'm guessing you already know Diamond and I are in a relationship now?" Silver wasn't surprised when she saw all three of them nod. Silver sighed internally, but couldn't blame them (much) for snooping.

"I've made an important decision that I can only hope you will consent to, because I plan to go through with it either way," Silver announced, looking to Filthy Rich. "Mister Rich, with your permission, I would like to move in and stay with Diamond almost indefinitely." There were several gasps just as Silver assumed there would be.

"She needs my love and attention to get her past this rough patch she has hit and rescue her from this deep hole she has fallen into. I neglected her when she needed me most and I don't plan to piddle around any longer. I will need to go home and pack a suitcase of course. I can feed myself as well Mister Rich, so you needn't worry about that. I hope sleeping in the same bed as Diamond won't be a problem either. I have recently discovered that I love holding her and her holding me. I also discovered that I am a cuddler." Silver paused for a second to allow the information to sink in; hoping against hope that there wouldn't be any objections. "I need to be there for her in this fragile and sensitive time. Please allow me your blessing to rescue my friend and be there for my special someone." Silver hoped that didn't sound cheesy. She was just speaking from her heart.

Silver's parents looked to each other with worried glances until they heard Mister Rich speak up.

"I grant you my blessing Silver. This is a very noble thing you are doing. You may stay here as long as you wish and we welcome you to join us for breakfast and dinner. I have my worries and doubts, but I am positive you will put those to rest. Welcome to the family."

Silver beamed happily and whispered a grateful "thank you" to Filthy Rich. Silver and Diamond turned to each other and pulled each other into a hug, kissing deeply. A look of doubt crossed Silver Spoon's father's face when he looked to Diamond's arm and back at the two lovers.

"I have a few troublesome thoughts..." Silver's father announced. The two lover's stopped kissing and gave their attention to him, looking slightly worried. Silver's mom gazed at her husband.

"Are you going to say you don't approve of their relationship?" She asked.

Silver's father looked shocked. "No! I always figured those two would end up together. No, I am just worried about Diamond's arm. I noticed that her left hand is a little bit whiter than her right. Anyone with common sense could tell that is a sign of bad circulation." Everyone was looking at him, wondering where he was going with this. He sighed. "Look, all I am saying is I think Diamond should go see a doctor. Let a professional handle i-"

"NO!!" Silver interrupted. "We can't!"

"What!?" Her father asked.

"Sweetie, why not?" Her mother asked, gentler than her father.

"Because," She began, "If we do, they will ask what the cause of this was and we will have no choice but to tell them because doctors have that sixth sense that tells when you're lying and when they find out that this was self-mutilation she'll be sent off to a psychiatric ward and that is the last thing she needs right now." Silver was in tears at this point. "I CAN'T LOSE HER AGAIN!! I JUST GOT HER BACK!!"

And with that, Silver crushed herself against Diamond Tiara. Pulling her into a tight embrace once more and burying her face in the crook of Diamond's neck, trying to make the world go away as she felt the increasing pulse of Diamond's heart on her right cheek.

Diamond wrapped her arms around Silver and nuzzled into her hair. She breathed in deeply of Silver's scent, then turned her head to the surrounding adults.

"Silver is right, and is also wrong." Diamond admitted. Silver pulled out of the embrace and looked up into her eyes.

"Huh?" She asked. Diamond kissed her on her quivering lips and pulled her back into the hug. Silver's head resting against her chest, looking almost like a mother would when coddling her child.

"I very well should go to a doctor, and I would be honest and open with him or her. But as Silver said, I would more than likely be sent off to a psychiatric ward which would probably do more harm than good since the ones I love wouldn't be there to help me through this. Silver showing all this affection for me, which I still think I don't deserve, has helped immensely. I haven't felt this happy and giddy since, well, since last we were together." Diamond felt a little anxious with their eyes on her, but she persisted. Feeling braver than before with Silver right there with her. "I don't care about my arm, it will heal in time, hopefully. Right now, I admit to needing mental help more than anything. I still can't forgive myself for the person I was, and am afraid that the old Diamond is still somewhere inside me, waiting for the right moment to make a comeback. Silver, I am guessing, will tend to my arm. She did a pretty good job with cleaning and wrapping it. Even though it's still a little sensitive, it feels better than it did before."

Diamond paused and looked down at the girl who was still trying to hide in her chest. Diamond wrapped her right arm around Silver's head and put her left hand on the small of Silver's back, pulling her in even closer. Having the one she loves this close to her made her feel calm, relaxed, and powerful!

"I love this girl so much. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world right now ever since she forgave me and officially became my one-and-only. It feels as if my heart is about to burst with happiness, because I haven't been this happy in a long time." Diamond stopped for a moment to put her head on top of Silver's. "I've missed this feeling," She finished, with a smile. Silver's mom placed her hand over her heart and sniffled, much affected by the loving scene in front of her. Silver's father chuckled and Filthy Rich stood there with his arms crossed, but grinning.

Silver's mom stepped towards them and wrapped her arms around her daughter, kissing her on the cheek. "I'm so extremely proud of you Little spoon. We'll miss you at the house, but you are only following your heart. That is all we can ask for." Silver shuddered from the assault of love she was getting on both sides of her body. The warmth flowed through her body like a gentle stream.

She wondered if this was the definition of pure bliss. She quickly decided yes and snuggled into Diamond's chest a little more, a smile cracking on her lips.

After the whole ordeal was settled downstairs, it was time to say goodbye... For the moment anyways. Silver had gone home with her parents, packed a suitcase, and was driven back to Diamond's house by her father. She kissed her father goodbye just as she did after kissing her mother goodbye before leaving her house. Now Diamond and Silver were alone in Diamond's room, on Diamond's bed, locked in an intense and passionate make-out session.

The pajamas they wore were nothing special. Diamond was wearing a white tank top with a pink bra underneath and yellow short shorts to match her usual attire. Silver's was more original. She wore a matching gray button up shirt and pants with yellow ducks printed on them. A bit childish, but Silver couldn't care less. Too bad they would not be losing them today.

Silver and Diamond both agreed to romantic and heart-felt things for now, not just mindless sex. So Silver straddled Diamond on her bed and kissed her repeatedly on the lips. Going in and holding for a second or two, then separating to look at Diamond's face only to jump back in for another, all the while Silver held Diamond's head in her hands while Diamond held on to Silver's hips.

Right now, at this moment, it was just them. No one to say no, or to interrupt. Only them. Free to allow their hearts and minds to run free. Diamond could not begin to explain the happiness and joy she felt now.

Silver soon found she did not have the strength nor stamina to keep herself held up any longer. So she allowed herself to fall to the left and land on Diamond's right, facing her. Silver snaked her arms around Diamond's body and pulled her in for another kiss, this time she did not plan to break it apart. Diamond let her eyelids flutter shut and draped her left arm over Silver. They continued with this for several minutes, hugging each other tighter and tighter until they couldn't breathe.

Unfortunately, everything must take a breath at some point. Reluctantly, they broke apart and were contempt to just stare at each other as they caught their breath. The goofiest of smiles adorned both of their lips.

They were chest to chest, stomach to stomach. They mentally kicked themselves for not discovering their love sooner as this was much better than any sex they ever had together, mental wise. Silver leaned forward the tiniest bit and Eskimo kissed Diamond, who returned the affection.

Silver felt Diamond's hand rubbing her back, accidentally scrunching her pajama shirt up and exposing her lower back. It only took a slight brush of Diamond's hand to feel how cold it was and send a shiver up Silver's spine.

Acting without even thinking, Silver reached back behind her with her right hand and managed to grab Diamond's injured one. Carefully bringing it back around to in front of her face, she felt a pang in her chest. Diamond's hand was not getting the warmth from her blood it needed, so in turn, this caused it to be cold as ice and nearly colorless. Silver immediately brought it to her mouth and began kissing it like she did before, tears welling in the corner of her eyes. She thought about how she was going to fix this without having to take her to the doctor. They had agreed earlier that if worst comes to worst and Silver couldn't do anything about her arm, then they would take her to a professional. But right now, Silver was only focused on her lover's hand and how she could warm it up.

She finished kissing it, now just holding the appendage and feeling the barely perceivable pulse of Diamond's heart as she continued to think of some way to warm the hand up. Then she was hit with a sudden case of eureka. Smiling impossibly wide, she gave Diamond a quick smooch and went about unbuttoning the second, third, and fourth buttons on her pajamas.

Taking Diamond's hand again, she worked its way in through the hole in her pj's and pressed it firmly against her chest. She tensed up and closed her eyes from the sudden cold on her chest, but smiled all the same. She pressed it even closer, hugging it with her hands as hard as she could without hurting Diamond.

Diamond could feel the heavy beating of Silver's heart. She smiled and closed her eyes. Focusing on the feeling and loving every second. In the short time that they have been a couple, Diamond has come to really enjoy this feeling because she knew it was beating for her. The rhythm made Diamond curious. It was fast, but strong. Almost like a horse. Diamond agreed internally that it was probably as big, if not bigger, than one too.

Over time, the cold soon dissipated from the hand of her heart's desire. Silver removed it from her blouse and gave it one final kiss. She decided to leave her pajamas unbuttoned just in case Diamond's hand needed more warming up. She saw Diamond mouth a "thank you", to which she responded by mouthing a "you're welcome".

Silver let go of Diamond's hand and placed hers over Diamond's own heart, feeling the beautiful thumping she had come to love so much. Silver kissed Diamond once again, gently and intensely. Breaking apart every few seconds to whisper an "I love you" or a "You're so beautiful" to her. The affection she provided was rewarded with even faster and harder thumping in Diamond's chest. Silver smiled into the kiss and broke away for good this time, staring into those bright beautiful blue eyes that she always got lost in.

"Listen to me Diamond," Silver said, becoming a little serious. "I never, EVER, want to feel this beautiful heart stop beating. Understand?"

Diamond seemed a little nervous to respond, but nodded anyways. After that, Silver's soft and considerate expression returned. "Good." She replied before pulling her into yet another deep kiss. She moaned into Diamond's mouth this time and smiled into the kiss as she felt Diamond's heart once again pick up an even faster pace than before. Silver knew she would never get used to moments like this, and that was the way she liked it.

She pulled away once more, panting, breathless. Smiling, she brushed the strands of purple and white hair out of Diamond's face so she could see those beautiful cerulean eyes. Diamond smiled back, content to just lay here forever if she could.

"So..." Silver began, drawing Diamond's attention. "Do you want to pick up where we left off?"

Confused, Diamond asked, "What do you mean?"

"I mean," Silver said in a huff as she sat up; the blankets falling away as she was followed by Diamond, "Do you want to watch those movies you bought? You know, follow through with our original plans from last week? We still have some weekend left, and even if we can't finish them there is always later. I practically live here now." Silver paused as she donned a sultry gaze and leaned in for another lip-lock with Diamond. "And I couldn't be happier," She finished afterwards.

When Silver leaned back she noticed there was a smile gracing Diamond's lips. This made her heart bounce for joy inside her chest, knowing that progress was being made. Slow, but progress nonetheless.

Diamond opened her eyes and nodded. "Mmhm," was the only noise she made.

Silver grinned and made to get up from the bed, gently pulling Diamond along with her. Without warning, when they were on their feet, Silver wrapped Diamond in another tight hug and intense kiss. They melted into one another's embrace as the firm lip-press continued. After a few moments, they pulled away with an audible smack of their lips. They peered into each other's eyes, hoping that a blink didn't feel the urge to rise.

"How was I lucky enough to land a girl like you?" Silver asked. Diamond blushed and looked away.

"Well, if you hadn't agreed to come here today, we may never ha-"

"I'm not talking about that," Silver interrupted. A confused face from Diamond was the only response she got.

"I mean all those years ago when I met you. I always knew there was something special about you. Something that drew me to you." Silver smirked, "And I think I finally see it," She replied, tugging Diamond into a closer hug until their noses were scant inches from each other.

"I don't know what you see in me, but I know what others see in me. And because of that I will never be able to forgive myself," Diamond replied, slipping back into what had become her regular mindset nowadays. "I mean, who could ever love Diamond Tiara. The Bully. The Torturer." She sighed deeply and closed her eyes, tears threatening to break loose as she looked down. "The Rapist," she whispered.

At this point, Silver didn't even have to try when she cried. The tears flowed freely of their own accord whenever Diamond talked liked this. She brightened a little when she remembered a piece of advice her mother had shared with her during a mother-daughter bonding session some time ago. Silver put a finger under Diamond's chin and lifted her head to meet her eyes.

"The forgiveness of others is the first step to forgiving yourself, Diamond. A wise woman told me that once. Take those words to heart. You already have my forgiveness, and I love you more than life itself," Silver beamed happily. She brought Diamond in for one last breath-taking, heart-stopping kiss, then pulled away and continued hugging her friend. "Come on, let's find those movies and start our bingeing," Silver whispered into Diamond's ear, hauling her towards the T.V. that sat at the foot of Diamond's bed on top of a dresser.

Diamond smiled at the warm feeling she felt in her left hand as Silver led her on by the right.

No eyes were safe from tears as the credits to The Notebook started rolling, and Diamond and Silver were no exception.

They lay snuggled together as they watched the credits to the critically-acclaimed feature film begin to roll up the screen, much like their tears would roll down their faces. Silver sat leaned up against the bed frame at the foot of Diamond's bed with Diamond sitting right in front of her being crushed to her chest in a never ending hug. Silver bounced and sniffled, just like Diamond did, as the tears relentlessly slid down their cheeks and dripped off of their chins, staining their shirts.

With her arms around Diamond's stomach, Silver pulled her closer and kissed her on the back of the head, trailing them around to Diamond's left cheek. Silver grabbed Diamond's left hand with her own and intertwined their fingers as she brought it to her face to assault it with more kisses. Silver pulled Diamond ever nearer and rested her chin on her shoulder.

"Why would you get this movie?" Silver whispered, kissing her ear. Diamond shuddered and leaned into Silver more.

"Everyone kept recommending it to me at the video store. I didn't really know what it was about, and I thought it looked kind of dumb, so I thought we could watch it to get a little laugh. But now I just want you to hold me and kiss me and never let me go." Diamond replied in a sob.

Silver grabbed her head and turned it slightly to the left. Just enough for Diamond to see her. "That can be arranged," Silver said, then kissed the corner of Diamond's mouth.

Diamond hastily sat up and whipped around to face Silver, resting on her knees. Silver readjusted to the same position and waited.

"Isn't weird how we used to think that kissing was the most disgusting thing in the universe and that we would vow to never do it?" Silver nodded. "Now here we are, almost a decade later and were nearly on the point of devouring each other's face. Not to mention all the other things we have done..." Diamond looked away as another wave of guilt washed over her. She still couldn't come to terms with how easily Silver forgave her. She felt more comfortable now than she ever would again, so she was determined to find out. She put on a face that made her look like she was on a mission and gather her resolve.

"Silver... How... How could you... just... f-forgive me so easily for what I did? I am just having a hard time understanding..." Diamond asked.

Silver gave a small groan and leaned in closer to Diamond. "I though I already explained this, but I will do it again. This time, it is the short SHORT version." Silver took a deep breath and let it out slowly to calm herself, then continued. "At first I was angry, furious even, with you. But also slightly scared. And maybe a little sad. Anyways though, it was these emotions that drove me to ignore you and not see that you truly were trying to make amends. Then my parents told me about the arrangement, and that it was my choice. Fifty times my mind screamed no, but my heart said yes. I guess you can tell who won." Silver brightened up and inclined her head for a quick peck before continuing. "So we arrived and waited for you and your dad. I just wanted to get it over with so I could return to my life and never have to deal with you again." Her heart cried out in agony at the look Diamond gave her when she said this, but persisted. "But once I saw the state you were in after you and your dad came down, things started to piece together. It was only after I said those awful things in the living room and pulled you away did I realize one important detail." Silver pointed at her mouth. "The ball gag. Why else would you remove it if not to give me the freedom to talk. If I had convinced you enough that I didn't want this, you would have, hopefully, stopped and let me go. But I never voiced my complaint or made myself heard, so you took that as the hint that I wanted it." Silver sniffled and wiped her nose. "When it comes down to it, the fault actually lies in me for... this... happening to you," she said, gesturing with her hand at Diamond's arm. Silver finally broke down and began to sob.

Diamond saw this and immediately jumped into action, scooping Silver into a constricting hug with a barrage of kisses. "Me cutting and burning my arms was not because of you, it was because of me. It took that incident to make me realize what such a horrible person I was, the monster I had become. My father deserved better, but instead wound up with me." Silver hugged back now, kissing her cheek every couple of seconds.

"Don't you ever say that. I couldn't imagine my life without you." Silver replied.

After that there was no talking for quite some time. Just hugging and kissing with the occasional sniffle. As things began to calm down though, the two girls regained their composure and untangled themselves from their most recent moment. Diamond didn't know what to say or do, but luckily, Silver had a question that she head been yearning to ask as well.

"DT, I need to ask you a question too..." Silver said, rubbing her arm in nervousness. Diamond offered a reassuring smile and motioned for her to continue. Silver cleared her throat and took off her glasses. "I was thinking of getting contacts. Don't get me wrong, I like my glasses, I just think it is time for a change."

Diamond studied the question for a moment before replying even though she didn't need to. The response came so easy to her.

"To be honest," Diamond began, "I like your glasses. They give you a certain... cuteness factor. It doesn't really matter to me because you're beautiful either way."

Silver's heart skipped a beat at that last statement. Did she just say...? Silver thought to herself as she replayed the words over and over again in her head. She said it so matter-of-factually. Silver smiled lovingly at Diamond and place her hands over her heart, seemingly trying to keep it from bouncing out of her chest.

Silver couldn't get any words to form, so she did the next best thing she could think of. She tackled Diamond softly to the ground and began kissing her in any place she could get her lips on. The mouth, the ear, nose, cheek, neck, heck, even eyes, until Diamond was utterly spent. Silver collapsed on top of Diamond, careful to avoid hurting her already damaged arm as they looked at each other in near silence. Once composures were regained, Diamond smiled sweetly and gave Silver a swift peck on the lips.

"One down, fifteen to go," Diamond said. "Next movie."
