Socially Awkward

This has got to be my talent i say to myself at i am running towards the edge, if my cousin can do this then maybe i can do it aswell, i leap of the edge of the cliff and fly up high into the clouds until i can't see the ground. I stretch my wings out so they arn't to stiff, ok they are good, i then instantly darted downwards as fast as my wings could go, i start to see the boundary round me about to break the sound barrier but i then hear somepony shout my name "MOONLIGHT!!!". The yelling caused me to loose concentration making me stop and instantly bounce off the sound barrier and i got flung across the sky.

"AAAHHHHHH" i screamed as i landed with a giant thud,  i chipped my big tooth as i crashed "ow" i said as i rubbed my head i then looked up to see my cousin standing there with a cross look on her face "What are you doing Moonlight, you could have been killed" i could see the discust in her eyes which were staring through my soul. I looked at the ground and cried out "i'm sorry Rainbow, i was try to earn my cutie mark", Rainbow put her hoof on my shoulder so i looked up to see her sadly looking down at me "moonlight look, we all know you arn't a good flyer so why are you attemping a sonic rainboom, you can't fly nearly that fast".

She sounded disappointed which i can understand, "b but, you can do the sonic rainboom" i asked as i weeped, Rainbow sighed "but Moonlight, your not me, you shouldn't try and be somepony your not". She does make a good point, but i've tried everything else to get a cutiemark and nothing worked "oh rainbow, if flying fast isn't my talent then what is, i'm 16 years old and i still haven't got mine and i'm getting sick of trying".  Rainbow stopped me "woh woh woh, slow down, i thought i told you before, it doesn't matter when you get your cutiemark, so what if you haven't got yours yet, it might mean that the world is saving the best cutiemark for you, the best cutiemarks are the ones that come to the ponies who wait" i guess rainbows right.

I did a long sigh as i got up off the ground and began to smile "Are you sure" i asked, Rainbow had a sympathetic smile "of course i'm sure and don't you forget it" i had a big smile as i flung my arms round rainbow, i guess she's right, my cutiemark will come one day and it will be the best cutie mark ever. Rainbow suddenly stopped hugging me and cringed "uh enough of that sappy stuff, i uh got to go move some clouds, see ya later cuz" she then zoomed up into the clouds, thats my cousin, can't handle the least bit of sappiness i giggled as i stared at the clouds.

I then heard another pony call my name "moonlight" it was my best friend Derpy, "hi Derpy" i said happily as i walked over to give her a hug, Derpy giggled "what you doing all the way out here, oh my goodness" Derpy suddenly jumped and looked at the chip in my big tooth. Derpy started to freak out "oh my goodness, Moonlight how did you get that chip in your tooth, did something awful happen to you" i smiled and calmed her down "Derpy its ok, i just fell and chipped my tooth its no big deal". Derpy then turned back to happy and started jumping about as she always does "oh good, shall we go to sugarcube corner then, pinkie pie has a new muffin recipe she thinks i'll like"  i nodded and followed her back to town, Derpy always finds a way to make me smile.

"there's something about that pony that gives me bad vibes,i just don't no why, she's just a stupid little pony with no talent, she must have more love than i thought" somepony slams the door open "my queen, the love meter for equestria is full"  i felt a grin come onto my face "ha ha perfect, with that much love i will easily able to take over but before the plan can get into full force i must get rid of the pink princess, no one will suspect a thing ha ha ".
