Fluttershy loved her mother, but the pony that Fluttershy's father married wasn't as sweet as Fluttershy's real mother. Her step-mother didn't care too much about her and she usually blamed her for things that were not Fluttershy's fault. Her step mother also thought that Fluttershy was useless.
