All of us had moved back to Ponyville, because Ponytopia was desolate and destroyed.

I walked down the street to the pet store to look for a new pet. I remembered my past as Rainbow Moon. Rainbow Moon was a black alicorn, with rainbow colored mane and tail with blue eyes and hooves. His cutie mark was a full moon encircled by a rainbow (red on the outside, purple next to the moon). His magic was symbolized by rainbow energy, including his attacks and defenses. His lighter blue armor consisted of a helmet, chest, and hoof plates. But on the heart shaped chest plate was a yin and yang symbol with a sun on the left white side and a moon on the right black side for dots and the yin and yang circular symbol was surrounded by a round rainbow like my full moon cutie mark. His armor was created using magic on Double Rainbow’s rug that I, Rainbow Heart, had given Double Rainbow as a gift. Rainbow Moon also used Double Rainbow’s Knife and secured the knife’s sheath in the armor.

My thoughts were interrupted by Night Wing who swooped down from the sky and floating upside down in front of me. He looked into my eyes, getting my attention and kissed me.

“What are you doing love?” Night Wing asked.

“Going to the pet store to find a new furry friend. Wanna come with?” I stated.

“Sure!” Night Wing exclaimed.

We entered the pet store. I was looking for a new pet, after having to put my old dog down. I had never been able to get another one due to all the recent events. Now that things had slowed down some, getting a new pet was the perfect idea.

The store associate was kind enough to lead us to the dog section. I came across a pet that looked like a wild animal that was part wolf, part pony. I had never seen an animal like it before.

“Awww…he looks so sweet.” I stated. “Can I see this one?” I asked.

“Sure.” The store associate said and took the dog to the meeting cubicle.

Night Wing said, “Are you sure you want that pet? It looks like it has manage.”

I stated, “Nonsense, it just needs a little tender, love, and care. Probably just had a bad previous owner and suffered a lot of animal abuse.” I added, “Animals like me and this one is perfect.”

I put my hoof out and pet him and it bit me and then escaped the cubicle and fled out the entrance door.

“Ow!” I stated looking at my front right bloody leg and hoof.

Night Wing stated, “You were saying something about pets liking you?”

“Ha Ha, laugh laugh.” I stated putting the wrist above my hoof in my mouth to stop the bleeding. “We should go home and bandage this.” I informed.
