The Werepony

The night would soon be here. I was in my bedroom, sitting on my bed, pondering thoughts about the future and trying to figure out who this imposter might be. I looked around my bedroom. There was a breeding horse phantom in the corner from my single days. There were two posters in my room as well that stuck out. The first said, “Horseplay means death!” with a skull and crossbones on it. Another poster read, “Horseplay means love!” with two ponies making out.

Shortly later, night was upon Equestria thanks to the Lunar Princess. I looked up at the full moon. I began to sweat and feel uneasy. It was then I began to change.

Rainbow Heart began turning into a werewolf. His teeth grew more canine, his fur grew fluffier like a wild wolf, his hooves turned into paws with black claws, and additional wolf-like features including a nose, and so forth. At the completion of the transformation he howled at the moon.

Following wild instincts, Rainbow Heart burst to the Everfree Forest to fulfill his appetites.

On his way to the forest, a stray dog barked, “Arf! Woof!”

Werewolf Rainbow Heart barked at the local abandoned dog who fled down an alley in fear. It wasn’t long before he was in the deep dark forest.

Timber Fall and Fruit Fields were on a camping trip in the same area of the Everfree Forest near Ponyville. They had left Ponytopia after the zombie and ghost incident in the past and now lived in Ponyville.

Timber Fall was a male earth pony. His body was red with black mane and tail. He also had a black beard and facial hair. His eyes were blue. His cutie mark was an axe chopping down a tree. He was masculine, but not very smart. He was also tall for a pony. He was a lumberjack. He was known for once chopping down four trees with a single swing of an axe, however, that is debated. Fruit Fields was a female earth pony. Her body was brown with green mane and tail. Her eyes were blue. Her cutie mark was a cornucopia with an assortment of fruit. She was the dainty trophy wife of Timber Fall with an argumentive personality. She grew fruits for a living.

Fruit Fields was working on a jigsaw puzzle, piece by piece. Timber Fall was chopping some wood nearby for the campfire they had lit.

Rainbow Heart, in werewolf form, growled and fanged at Timber Falls. Causing Timber Fall to snap his attention to the wolf pony just before Rainbow Heart quickly leapt at his neck and tore out the entire front part. After the attack, Fruit Fields who had seen the incident screamed and ran to her husband ignoring the werewolf’s presence. After a snarl, from the wolf pony, Rainbow Heart attacked her from behind savagely and with primal instincts. She died romantically next to her husband.

Rainbow Heart who had no idea what was going on was taken over by the beastly form and continued to roam the dark forest.
