Chapter 6 Pony Training / Flesh & Blood

It was I, Double Rainbow, now at night. I had watched my followers select and kidnap the pony for redemption. I was now watching my followers do the trap themselves. I was removing the training wheels and letting them do all the work under my watchful eye.

After talking with them, the survivors, it was clear their traps would not be the exact same as mine. The traps would have to be different, because they did not have my magical power to make them as elaborate. The survivor’s traps involve using specific places and deaths involving devices at the location, requiring less focus on magical power and more on innovation. Another trademark of the survivors work would be being creative with the corpse after the death. In addition to the less magical and more mechanical means of execution, if the pony did not leave on their own free will with understanding why they were chosen.

The scene was at the amusement park center of the ruins of Ponytopia, specifically at the merry-go-round, or carousel if you will.

The pony in front of the group, in particularly, Pawter Pony, who was now the leader of the survivors, was a troublemaker to say the least. Her name was Troublemaker. She was a blue pony with light blue and white mane, tail, and eyes. Her cutie marks were an animal trap. She was a unicorn. She represent the element of water.

Instead of using magic to wrap the pony in barbed wire, it was done manually. It was strung in an ornamental design securing her rear hooves, also attached by the sharp wire was her horn and wrapped around her lips, the body parts that she would have to sacrifice in order to learn the errors of her ways and to win her chance to freedom. Between Troublemaker and Pawter Pony was Double Rainbow’s special rug. Troublemaker was secured to the slow moving carousel, going around in a circle with Pawter Pony on it as well. The ride was in motion with the pony and Pawter on it. The other survivors clung to the shadows encircling the carousel, hidden and observing.

The sleep spell wore off. Troublemaker came to and found herself in the predicament. She tried screaming for help although it only brought more discomfort and blood.

“What the hell?” the trapped pony stated.

Pawter Pony took charge and said, “I know the past, the present, and the future. When it comes to you Troublemaker, I know everything. You go through life abusing everypony you meet. You abused your husband and children verbally and physically. You cheated sexually on your husband many times and forced him to take a life of crime to satisfy your vain wants. This is payback for all the evil you have done. You are an evil pony. You need to learn how to become a good pony. It means that you have to suffer the consequences from your actions and that your punishment should reflect the wrongdoings you have done.”

“This is preposterous!” Troublemaker snipped back. “I’ve done nothing wrong!”

Pawter Pony stepped forward using his horn to levitate Double Rainbow’s Knife and brought it to her horn and rubbing it gently against it. Troublemaker began to shake and tremble. She prepared for what was coming. Pawter sawed her horn off using the knife. Troublemaker began to scream in pain. The horn fell to the ground, useless. In doing so, the tension of the barbed wire on the left leg was loosened and she could get it free now. Pawter dropped the knife in front of her, leaving a bloody knife impression on the ground and walked to the other side of the rug.

Troublemaker got the hint. She used her front right hoof and picked the knife off of the ground. She built her courage and cut off her lips. Now with both back legs having no tension on the securing barbed wire, she was able to get free.

She put the knife in her mouth and rushed at Pawter, crossing the rug. It activated the trap.

She was impaled from the ground up through the abdomen and through the back. The spike went all the way up to the mechanical gears above and lodged into the turning mechanism, which resulted in her body going up and down like the other animal figures on the ride. The spot was chosen was where a pony riding figure would have been.

Pawter looked at me and asked, “Did I do it correctly?”

I stated, “You performed perfectly.”

Pawter and the others decorated the corpse with carnival fashion to make it look like the other fake animals and ponies on the ride.
