A Day of No Tomorrow

Henry?!

I ignore the voice to try to re-establish what happened , Apparently The last thing I remembered was falling out of a tree and almost contracting brain damage or a skull fracture but I feel the back of my head with my hands while opening my eyes ... Blurry and dark.

He moved! check if he'll respond.

I can hear a stinging noise everywhere around me , loud , I only managed to barely translate the words.

I fully awaken with the stinging noise dying down quickly I rise up to see I'm in a Cellar with some baskets full of apples lying in the corners of the dark basement , I quickly shift my eyes from the Stone walls to my surroundings , I'm in one side of the dark room , On the other side I see both of them tied up , Charlie trying to Gnaw on the ropes while eying something in the corner.

I look towards the corner to see something else tied up , the same Black body , the Limbs covered in Holes , the eyes blue , and those fangs... It looks like the insect we've encountered earlier was also in this very same Prison.

" What , where are we , and what's he doing here " Pointing out to the black insect creature.

" I got caught by some ponies in golden armor. " it proclaimed " They were searching the forests after they realized they found you came from there. "

" Do you even have a name? " Jasmin quickly snapped at it.

" You first. " it responded.

Charlie seems to pay no attention to us , he's constantly gnawing at the ropes and they won't even tear or budge by the slightest , Jazz keeps telling him that it's no use but hes keen on getting out and doing something with that bug by the way he keeps eying the damn thing.

" I'm Henry ... Henry Poe and I'm a Human. " I managed to Blurt out.

" Strange name ... " The insect replied " Does it mean anything. "

" No... It's my name why should it mean anything? " I said.

" My name is Black Wings. " He said " I'm a Changeling. " He says , realizing to be fair.

" You're wings aren't that black " Charlie said while chuckling as he returns to gnaw on the ropes.

" That doesn't matter its my name , and I believe my Queen Chrysalis should save us, If you want to escape though I'll help out in anyway I can " He said.

I start thinking ... Charlie has a fire raging on his face , It sort of looked like he was in a Bloody battle , I knew this because he was a bit claustrophobic at times and he would do almost anything to get out , even if he had to dig his way out , But my mind comes into realization ' Queen ' Black wings said... He was ruled over by a queen... well I think I noticed since all social insects that worked in groups had to have a queen? this meant he wasn't alone , there were more of his Kind running about , But why would his queen , sacrifice her life to save one subject of her ' Hive ' this lead me to believe that he was lying But still he said He'd try to help us escape and possibly help us know this world better ... maybe he isn't so bad after all , maybe we misjudged him this entire time.

" Your queen , Won't save you here. " I said while shuddering at the thought of not getting rescued.

Black wings was starting to look worried now , the expression on his face looks like he just realized and saw his fate as he was looking at something in the distance.

Jasmin's eyes rolled back into her sockets as her eyes started emitting a dark green light , I was blinded by looking at it too long and had to look away , a strange noise accompanied this while a green light started to engulf her entire body , slowly her hands and legs started turning black and were coated in holes , her body was transforming into a different form much like that of Black Wings , but much more bigger and actually had cat-like eyes and flowing teal hair , she stood there sitting for a moment before talking yet she didn't sound like the normal changeling.

" Sorry about this , I should have told you sooner " said Jasmin while looking away to escape the weird glances.

" Jasmin? What how? What!? " said Charlie as I sat frozen in shock.

" No time to explain , just call me Chrysalis for now. " she said.

" Great do you have magical powers to help us escape? " I said

" Yes let me get these ropes off then I'll help the two of you " Chrysalis said while Black Wings fainted of shock.

It took a while but Chrysalis managed to get the ropes off using her telekinesis , we grabbed Black Wings  and left the cellar , Escape finally we got out of the prison we were kept in to be assaulted with bright light and what appears to be one of the ponies we encountered earlier , but this time she had a few friends , 5 other colored ponies and this other white pony that stood almost as high as me , they were eying us but Chrysalis panicked and a green light swallowed the entire group and we were back at the forest camp we made.

" You can teleport too! " Shouted Charlie like he got his first birthday present.

" Yeah , I can " Said Chrysalis.

" So care to explain all this? " I asked while pointing at her.

" Sorry I haven't told you guys earlier but I'm actually queen of the changelings , I was sent to earth to study your race , since changelings feed off love , I was planning to invade you , until I met you two , you changed my opinion , I've found friends I couldn't never give up , and besides I was kind of growing attached to you Henry. " Explained Chrysalis

" What do you mean , Growing attached.... Oh you mean you ... like like me right? " Henry said while giggling.

" Yes , I ... I always sort of did " She said while brushing the dust off her coat

" I hate to ruin your lovebird moment together but in case you haven't noticed we just escaped from captivity and I believe staying in this forest isn't a good hiding place. " said Charlie worryingly.

" Well I can't teleport back to my castle , that's a long way away from here " said Chrysalis ", And I'm sure flying won't be a good idea either since they're searching for us. "

" Let's get moving then , But first let's wake up Wings with some water shall we? " Henry required.
