Two DJs

Los Pegasus, Western Equestria

It was a somewhat rainy night in Los Pegasus, and the DJ Duo, Record Spinner and Vinyl Scratch, were appearing on a late-night TV show.

Over the past few days, Record and Vinyl had been performing throughout Western Equestria, stopping at concert halls in many cities

throughout the region, and the previous evening, the duo had performed in LP.

" So, Miss scratch and Mr. Spinner, or should I call you, " Sir Spinner", " asked the show's host, a older, male unicorn.

The crowd laughed at this and even Record had to chuckle.

" no, no, Record will do", Record replied, his Lontrot accent distinct.

Record was a 27-year-old blue-coated unicorn, with teal eyes and blue and teal patterns in his mane and tail.

He also a wore a grey and black collared vest with short sleeves.

After some more laughter,  the show's host asked, " so, you two have been becoming quite the celebrities around here, and one thing alot of ponies have been asking is, are you two in a relationship"?

Record blushed a little and Vinyl laughed.

" nah, dude, Record and I are pretty cool, but we're friends, that's all", Vinyl replied, grinning.

" ah, but wouldn't you say you do find something attractive in him", the host asked.

Turning to Record, Vinyl replied, " yeah, he is a pretty cute stallion and all, but we're just friends, that's all".

The crowd chuckled a little at this and Record rubbed the back of his neck.

After the interview ended,  Record and Vinyl headed back to their hotel located at a beach side of Los Pegasus.

By this point, the rain had stopped for the most part, except for a light drizzle now softly hitting the ground.

The two were staying up at the top floor, and upon reaching the door to the room,  Record used his magic to open the door.

"after you, Vinyl", he said, taking a slight bow.

Vinyl found this behavior of his odd when they first started out working together, but over time she learned to get used to it and even enjoy it.

" why, thank you, Record", Vinyl replied, giggling a little as she entered the room.

Record turned on the lights as he entered the room, glad to be back home from the show.

" wow, that sure was fun, that host was hilarious", Vinyl said, making her way to the fridge.

" yeah, it was", Record replied, his mind elsewhere.

" oh, come on, Record, it wasn't that bad, you know that's how those late night show ponies work", Vinyl reassured him, taking out a bottle of whiskey and grabbed some crackers.

Despite what had happened, Record really was in the mood for some food and drink.

" now come, let's have a drink, a bit of a celebrity for a successful tour," Vinyl suggested, showing him the levitating bottle.

Nodding, Record got himself a shot glass and set a plate for the crackers.

Vinyl poured some of the whiskey into the shot glasses and lifted hers for a toast.

Vinyl initiated the celebration by lifting her shot and saying, " cheers".

" cheers," Record replied, tapping Vinyl's glass with his, and the two took their first shot.
