Ponyville, Eastern Equestria

Vinyl and Record finally returned to their home in Ponyville, and after weeks of traveling, the duo figured some downtime was in order.

The house they lived in was an unassuming, two story home near the shops and everything, with all the trappings of a normal home in Ponyville.

When Record first moved here from Lontrot, he was amazed that towns like Ponyville still existed, and over time, he grew to love the community there, preferring life in Ponyville to big cities like Canterlot or Manehatten.

" ah, home sweet home," said Vinyl, as she entered the home, followed by Record.

Indeed, it was very nice to return to the old home, with all its furnishings and things a pony would need.

Looking at the clock, Record figured it was probably time to get dinner.

" say, Vinyl, you just want to pick something up", Record asked, turning to look at Vinyl, but she was gone, presumably to take a nap or a shower.

Heading upstairs, he found that Vinyl was indeed in the shower, for when he entered the second floor of the house, he heard the shower going off.

He repeated the question and Vinyl shouted, " yeah, that'd be great, I'm in the mood for hayburgers"!

Nodding, Record headed downstairs and grabbed his wallet.

Record made his way to the local hayburger joint and got 4 hayburger meals and a root beer for him and a chocolate shake for Vinyl.

" thank you, sir, have a pleasant day",  the cashier pony said, giving the food to Record.

Nodding, Record headed back home,  the late afternoon sun casting a orange glow over everything.

Upon returning to the house, he found Vinyl sitting on the couch, waiting TV and was laughing hard.

" I see you're enjoying yourself, Vinyl", Record said, chuckling.

" oh, hey, Record. Yeah, I've been having a good time and I see you brought back dinner and OH MY GOSH, IS THAT A CHOCOLATE SHAKE", Vinyl asked, her mouth agaped.

Chucking, Record showed her that it was indeed a chocolate shake and Vinyl let out a squee.

If there was one way Vinyl could be persuaded, it was usually with a chocolate shake, or in the mornings, a nice cappuccino and a cream-and-cheese panwich, this Record knew for a fact.

Sitting down at the kitchen table, the two ate their hayburgers and fries while discussing how awesome their trip was.

The conservation began getting weird when the interview in Los Pegasus came up.

" it wasn't that bad, Record. Though, to be honest, it was pretty cute when you blushed", Vinyl said, winking.

Record turned red a little and replied, " well, it was just a awkward question".

" oh, come on, Record, like I hadn't caught you checking me out before", Vinyl retorted, smiling.

Turning scarlet red, Record asked," h-how did you notice"?

" hey, its a mare's intuition and don't feel bad, plenty of stallions did the same", Vinyl replied, sipping her shake.

Looking up, Record did admit that there were many times he caught himself looking at Vinyl's plot, and her eyes were also quite attractive.

The truth was, Vinyl was just a attractive mare, and Record occasionally wondered why she didn't have a coltfriend.

" but hey, like I said, it's all cool. I mean, you're a pretty attractive guy yourself, with all the mares back in Lontrot chasing you around", Vinyl said, breaking the silence.

At this, Record chuckled and it was something he encountered quite a lot.

Hell, for the longest time, Record couldn't even walk down to the supermarket to buy groceries without some mare going all fangirl over him.

" yeah, Vinyl, you're right," Record replied, smiling.

" yup, well, anyway, goodnight", Vinyl said, yawning.

" Goodnight," Record replied, heading to his room.
